Chapter 12& 13
Angelo stared at the emptied clan. He sighed. Everyone has left….not as if he was expecting any soul to stay
“I am sorry father, i know i fail you but i keep up with it anymore. I have to let this people go. I have a family to leave for too” He said sighing.
“I know wherever your father is, he’ll understand. What you did , is the best thing to be done” Landon said beside him and he smiled sadly.
“You know Landon, ever since i was young i h@tëd anything about taking this legacy from my father. I wanted to leave a normal life with my mother and twin brother” He said and pushed. He stared at Landon’s face and could see the shocked and surprise looks.
He pated his shoulder and smile again. “Yes i got a twin brother. His name is Brandon. Is a secret tho” He said and Landon nodded.
“Living with mother is the best experience ever. I can still remember the happy moments even if i was still young them. Father comes once in a while to spend time with us and trust me, it was the best moment for all of us” he said and Landon nodded.
“Then problem started arising. Mother found out father got a mistress who has two children for him already. He was confronted by mother and he never denial it. Father became worst as he neglected us and go for his mistress. Mother couldn’t take it and have to confront the mistress but it didn’t end well with both women. My mother became more heartbroken when father decided to take me to the clan and train me to be a mafia. He chose me instead of my brother. I never wanted this….i didn’t want to get separated for my mother and father. I got threatened and because i love my mother and brother so much, i accepted. I was brought to the clan and I was trained to be dangerous and heartless. Just the way father wants. Everything was going well till father brought two kids who were far older than me and they were trained along side with me and they became more stronger too. Father was killed on his way to see his mistress by this two killed. I got to find out father killed their parents under their watchful eyes causing them emotional distraught. I guessed their father really did bad. Anger, jealousy and bitterness puzzled their heart and they wish nothing but revenge. They took over the clan and made me their slaves. I wanted to fight back but then they took my weaker brother under their custody. I got no choice but to work for them” He said and sniffed.
“I should stoo here now” He muttered. He’s not ready to tell how he met with Bluey.
“This is his clan and i don’t think if this is what he wants but its time to be happy right?. I’ve been sacrificing my happiness for too long. It’s time to make everything right and that’s why I’m letting everyone go. I have a family and i want to come back to them.” He said and Landon nodded.
“You know what boss…..
“Call me Angelo” He cut him short.
“An..ge..lo” He stuttered and gulped down. It was kinda hard for him.
“I have a family too. A loving mother, a little cute sister but an abusive father. My sister and i were abusive by my supposed father and sometimes I wish if he’s really my father. I h@tëd myself for not being able to stand my father and for being weak before me. I watched my little sister suffered and saved with my mother. My mother love my father so much that she doesn’t want to leave the hell of a marriage. According to her, she deserves it for hurting father. That what she did was unforgivable and she never told us about it. I couldn’t bear it again and have to run away. I came here so i could be trained and be strong. I want to stand before my father and kill him” He said and folded his fist. Anger was all written over him.
“But i never regret coming here. At least i have someone to call a brother now”He said.
“You still have a family somewhere and you can never change that. How long will you keep running away?. What if your family are suffering and really needs your help?. Its time to challenge your father and stop running away like a chicken” He teased and Landon smile.
“I’m always here to help as a big brother. We can go get your mother and sister before leaving” He said and Landon gasped.
“Will….will….you really do that?” He gasped.
“Of course, you’re path of me now. Your father is now my family. I’m heading to my suite. When you’re ready to leave just let me know” He said and Landon smile widely.
“Thanks big brother” He muttered amidst tears. He couldn’t wait to see his mother and cute little sister again.

Jenna lay on her bed. She wasn’t packing or planning to leave anytime soon.
She just laid there thinking of so many things. Alot was going on her mind.
Where was she to go?
She got no one. She hiccups and finally let the tears flow.
“Here you go….you can wipe that off” She head a voice which she recognized to be Landon’s own. She looked up and saw him giving her a handkerchief.
She quickly sat up, she wasn’t even aware the time he came in.
“When did you come in” She asked taking the handkerchief and wiping her tears.
“When you were busy crying” He said and she sigh.
“Why are you still here. I thought you could have left” She said getting up.
“Yea….i just thought of checking the clan yo make sure everyone has left and luckily, i found you” He said and Jenna rolls eyes.
“Saying you were searching for me, would have been much better”She said opening her wardrobe bringing out her clothes.
“So tell me, why haven’t you left?” He asked moving to her.
“Why?” He asked.
“I have no where to go. I’m an orphan and the knly sister I have is died” She said.
“Died?” Landon furrowed his brows. “Yes…dead. Sofia is my sister and i just got to find out” She said and Landon gasped.
“I was more surprised than you are” She said.
“But how come you never knew?” He asked.
“Is a long story. I might tell later but right now, i need to find somewhere to stay” She said and Landon sigh.
“I don’t think is necessary cause right now, you’re coming with me and the boss. I can’t leave you here all alone” He said and Jenna gasped.
“What…what did you say?” She asked.
“You heard well baby. Pack your stuff and lets leave. You can’t expect me to leave you here, I’ll be waiting for you down floor” He said and peck her cheek. Jenna blushed as she touches her cheek.

Mia kept staring at Brandon. To her, he looks look handsome to be a cripple. She was staring at him as she slice on the vegetables on the chopping board. His thick lashes. His brown eyes, his cheeks bones and his cute red lips that can drive anyone crazy. “No doubt, he’s blessed with a cute face”Mai said as she kept stealing glances at him.
“Ouch!” She screamed out and Granny quickly rushed to her. “It hurts” She cried out. She just accidentally cut her fingers.
“What were you thinking?” Granny asked her and she sigh. How will she even tell Granny she was staring at his son. “It hurts” She winced.
“Here, let me see” Granny said.
“Okay Granny” She responded showing Granny her injured finger.
“How come you injured yourself this badly?” She asked and Mai pouted her lips. She raised her head and caught him staring at her. She smile softly.
“Huh….you got a crush on him right?” Granny asked and Mai frowned and withdraw her finger from Granny’s hand.
“Of course not” She pouted out going back to the chopping board on the counter.
“Your actions says something different” Granny muttered walking to her.
“Of course not Granny. I considered you all as my family. He’s my brother now and I can’t possibly crush on him” She muttered.
Granny sigh.
“I know you do but it isn’t bad either if you go for him, as long you two aren’t the same blood” She said and Mia raised her brows.
“But………
“There’s no but. My son is a great man and he’ll treat you nice. Don’t make a mistake you’ll regret. It’s your love life we’re talking about here. You’re such a sweet girl and i love you wholeheartedly. I wouldn’t mind at all if you go for him, you’re still my adorable daughter” She said and immediately, she felt her eyes heat up.
“Gosh Granny…. you’re making me cry now”She said cutely and rushed to Granny, giving her a thight hug.
“I’m i missing something?” Brandon asked. He has successfully wheeled himself to where they’re.
“Of course not son, Mia just sustained injuries when slicing vegetables ” He said more cutely and Mia looked away as he felt her cheek turning red.
“Really?…I should take a look” He said and held her injured finger.
“You should be more careful next time” He muttered and without wasting time, he started blowing the blood.
“Oh mine!. I neee to leave right now”Granny said touching her head fondly as she walked out.
“Granny” Mia muttered feeling embarrassed as she got goosebumps.
