CHAPTER 17
When they appeared at Kiara’s house it was already early in the morning, as Kiara was still sleeping on Levi’s back.
” Kiara we are here ” Levi said and Kiara opened her eyes slowly ” finally ” Kiara exclaimed as she hug the door ” is she okay ?” Antonio asked ” How would I know ?” Levi replied.
After they cleaned up they had breakfast and went to school ” Tracy you won’t believe if I tell her ,I mean who would have thought mermaid exists?” Kiara asked.
” The worst part is she looked exactly like you, I mean …..gosh there’s no difference” Antonio said remembering last night.
” What if she’s related to Kiara ” Levi pointed out and Kiara paused ” I’m the only child ” she added and Levi nodded ” Kiara don’t be annoyed but everything about you is full of mysteries,so it won’t surprise me if she’s related to you” Antonio added
” That’s funny because I also think the same thing, my parents death wasn’t an accident what if it was planned or they were murdered” Kiara asked seriously.
” It’s cute when you try to talk about things you don’t understand ” Antonio teased and Levi coughed ” Kiara over here ” lily called and Kiara turned around.
” Hey guys ” Kiara waved and they waved back ” so no more fighting ?” Tracy asked as she looked at Antonio And Kiara
” We are cool now ” Kiara said with a smile and they nodded “something happened last night ” Levi added and they stepped closer ” what happened ?” Oscar asked.
” I saw my reflection” Kiara replied in a low voice ” huh ” lily let out an akward sound as she was confused “she mean she saw her twin ” Antonio corrected and they rubbed their hair in confusion.
” But you are the only child right .”Luke asked confused and Kiara nodded ” so how come you saw your reflection…sorry I mean twin” Oscar asked
” She’s a mermaid ” Kiara replied and they burst into laughter “nice prank Antonio” they chorused but when they saw Antonio serious face they gulped
” Ohh you guys are serious ?” They chorused ” of course we are serious” Levi replied and they nodded in understanding ” we thought it was a joke but you guys are Fuçking serious” Oscar pointed out
“Tell us what happened ” lily added and Kiara narrated everything ” wait wait wait,so the forest is magical ?” Tracy asked ” we don’t know yet ” Levi replied.
” So what’s the name of your reflection?” Luke asked and Levi laughed ” Reflection seriously” Levi asked while laughing.
” We forgot to ask ” Antonio replied and they sighed ” that’s enough in going to class ” Tracy said walking out ” I told you she won’t believe us ” kaira pointed out.
” You guys must have had the same nightmares” Oscar said walking away and they frowned ” well we will talk about his later ” Luke added
” Maybe it’s the influence of alcohol” lily pointed out before she walked away ” Fuçk you all ” Antonio said ” They are so annoying ” Levi groaned.
Kiara was listening to the lecturer when she heard a voice , she looked around but no one was talking to her, she looked back at the lecturer but the voice kept on talking.
” Can you hear someone whispering ?” Kiara asked and Lily shake her head ” are you hearing voices ?” Tracy asked form behind and Kiara nodded.
” But I don’t know who’s talking ” liar replied ” maybe it’s just your imagination ” lily said ” maybe you’re right” Kiara added.
” Who can explain the word chimera? ” The lecturer asked but got no response when Antonio suddenly raised his hand ” you can use the bathroom Antonio” the lecturer said and Antonio hissed.
” But I know the answer that’s why am raising my hand ” Antoine respond and everyone gasp on shock . What did he just say ?
” For the first time in history you want to answer a question? That’s strange but say it ” the lecturer said and Oscar laughed ” is something funny ?” He asked
” Is something funny Oscar ?” Antonio asked ” no I just couldn’t believe it ” Oscar replied and Kiara looked at Antonio who seem least interested.
” A genetic chimerism or chimera us a single organism composed of cells with more than one distinct genotype ” Antonio replied and the whole place fell into deep silence.
” That’s surprisingly correct” the lecturer exclaimed and everyone looked at Antonio in surprise, Luke and Oscar exchange looks ” woah that’s hard to believe” Luke said.
” No,it’s not he literally browse it out with his phone look…” Tracy pointed at Antonio deck ” Bad boy ” Oscar praised and Antonio smirk ” I just know he can never answer a question” Lily cursed.
“Such a cheat ” Tracy added and Lily coughed ” it’s useless , he will always cheat one way or another ” lily said and Antonio yawned ” stop being abusive Tracy ” Levi pointed out.
” Birds of the same feather” Luke pointed out ” Tracy are you crushing on me ?” Antonio asked as he winced at Tracy ” in your dreams ” Tracy added.
” I think her crush is Oscar” lily corrected ” What ?” Oscar exclaimed and everyone looked at his direction” is there any problem Oscar ?” The lecturer asked annoyed that Oscar was disturbing his class.
“Sorry sir ” Oscar replied and he looked at Tracy ” so that’s the reason you’re acting strange around me?” Oscar asked.
“You mean the kiss ?” Kiara asked and Tracy rest her head on the table in embarrassment ” yeah something like that ” Oscar replied.
“What meeting are you guys holding ?” The lecturer asked and they sat properly facing the board a” oh I forgot we were in class ” lily said as the lecturer walked up to them.
” Can you tell the class what the discussion is all about ?” He asked angrily ” Nope ” Antonio replied and the lecturer looked at him ” Then yuu guys will be separated” he said.
Oscar chuckles in amusement, do this lecturer knows who Antonio parents are ? Or is he playing with his life ?
The bell rang and Tracy looked at the lecturer before laughing ” Calm down your class is already over ” Tracy said seriously.
” Really ? What if I want to keep you all here ?” He asked with a smirk ” That’s students abuse ” Luke replied ” so you want to tell me what to do ?” He asked in anger .
” Actually we are not, according to the school rules page 114, it’s called student abuse ” Oscar said and the lecturer groaned before he stormed off.
” School rules page 114,when did you start reading the rules and regulations ?” Levi asked as he sat down straight ” actually I just made it up ” oscar replied and they laughed.
” Fast thinker I like that ” Levi praised as all the students was looking at them. They mostly sat at the back of the class, back benchers.
” Gosh they are so cute ” a girl whispered as Antonio and his friends were popular because of their beauty. ” How I wish I was a part of them ” a male said from behind.
” Keep dreaming, they will never noticed us ” a girl said as she walked out, the guys stood up and picked up their bags ” where are you guys going ?” Kiara asked and Tracy looked at Oscar who already walked out ” it’s time for lunch am starving” lily exclaimed.
” C’mon bro Tracy is really into you “Levi said and Oscar hissed ” Oscar, don’t hurt her because of ignorance” Luke warned.
” I just pray she won’t leave him like the other girls did ” Antonio said as he patted Oscars shoulders ” I know you like Tracy so don’t pretend ” Luke said
” Just tell her and everything will be fine ” Levi assured as they sat down ” I’m not ready to fall in love yet ” Oscar said and Luke smirked ” so you don’t like Tracy ?” Antonio asked .
“Maybe ” Oscar replied calmly, Tracy who stood at the entrance could hear them clearly, she turned around and ran out ” Tracy ” Kiara called but got no response.
