CHAPTER 58
“If Kiara manage to succeed what’s next for her ?” Tracy asked, she wondered if Kiara life will go back to normal one day ?
” Thinking too far, what if she fails to stop the army of darkness ?”Hadley asked instead.
“How come Kiara is a demon and Skylar isn’t?” Oscar asked and Levi chuckled ” Good question ” Levi taunt ” Thay ain’t related ” Ashley replied calmly.
” She was put there because the demon world was too dangerous for her, we brought her here ” Hadley replied.
” Wait you mean Skylar and Kiara ain’t blood related ?” Lily asked and Levi groaned, is it that hard to understand ?
” Her mum isn’t a human, for god-damned sake ” Levi groaned as Skylar was staring at him in confusion ” what ” Skylar exclaimed in shock.
” Skylar, your mum is a half demon half human , well putting Kiara inside her was risky, a mere human can’t give birth to a demon ” Hadley added.
Skylar felt like her whole world was about to explode, what the Fuçk is going on ? Why didn’t aunt jadle tell her anything?
” So you turned her into a demon ?” Skylar asked ” lower class demon, aunt jadle was her protector ” Hadley replied band Skylar blincked, she was confused and speechless at the same time.
This can’t be happening to her ? No it can’t, it’s all a nightmare
” Skylar, that’s your name right ?” Hadley asked and Skylar nodded slowly ” will you be able to fight your mom to save Kiara ?” Hadley asked.
” I don’t understand ” Skylar replied, how can she fight her mum, her mum is already dead right ? So what does Hadley mean by that ?
” Corpse demons, maybe but I think they will use your mum to trap you in other to get Kiara’s attention, right now you’re Kiara’s weakness ” Levi added.
” Which I know is bad, being Kiara’s only weakness, will cause her to lose a lot of things, if you make the wrong decision and somehow got trapped by those corpse demons, Kiara will go berserker, which will be easier to kill her ” Ashley explained.
“This means my mom is somewhere right now ? Dead but still alive, wait does that make any sense, how could she abandoned her children ?” Skylar asked.
” She’s a puppet, remember Kiara always heard voices, someone or something has calling her from the railroad ? That’s were your parents had an accident ” Levi pointed out and Skylar stepped back.
This means her mum was the one calling Kiara, in other to kill her but why ?
” But my parents were buried, they are in the cemetery” Skylar pointed out and Levi laughed.
” The same cemetery Kiara found her sword and released some evil spirit ?” Hadley corrected and they exchanged looks. So Hadley has been following them all this while ?
” Wait wait am lost,, have you been spying on us all this while ?” Antonio asked ” Not you guys but Kiara ” Hadley corrected.
” Kiara was controlled, it was all planned and she fell for it ” Ashley added calmly.
” Why didn’t you guys stop her ?” Skylar asked, if they had stopped Kiara that day, maybe all this won’t be happening .
” To keep Kiara save, a spell was cast on her, demons couldn’t get closed to her ” cora explained as she has been standing quietly.
” Remember I came after the spell was broken ” Levi added ” I could watch her from afar but couldn’t do anything ” Hadley uttered.
” So the almighty Hadley was powerless ?” Skylar taunt and Hadley eyes darkened ” Not really, if I forced the spell to be broken, Kiara would have been dead by now ” Hadley replied.
“Remember one thing Skylar, your mum is dead, wh@tëver you’ll see is just an illusion, just like jadle. The only difference is that your mum is being controlled ” Levi said seriously.
” So many buried secrets ” Kylie exclaimed ” Go to school now ” Hadley said before they disappeared leaving them stunned.
” She just left like that ” Skylar complained as she still has a lot of questions which need urgent answers.
The information she just got were hard to digest, it doesn’t matter of Kiara is a demon, she is Still her sister no matter what happens.
” C’mon don’t stress yoyr little brain ” Levi said with a smirk ” you’re hiding alot of things from me Levi ” Skylar said .
” I had to or else you’ll loose your mind , just allow these new information to sink in for now ” Levi said calmly.
Skylar looked down before she nodded, Levi just shake his head before he lensed closer to her.
Skylar heart skipped a beat as Levi’s lips moved skillfully with hers in a heated kiss. His tongue stabbed into her mouth tasting her.
His hand moved to her waist as he pulled her closer, Skylar hand rested on his hard chest as she deepened the kiss.
Everyone cleared their throats and Skylar snapped back to her senses as she pulled away quickly.
” Can we go now ?” Brooklyn asked teasingly as Skylar cheeks burn red from embarrassment.
What was she thinking? She was completely lost with her desires that’s she forgot about everyone. She need to stay away from Levi as soon as possible .
“Pervert ” Skylar cursed before she ran out and Kylie laughed, Brooklyn and Kylie couldn’t stop teasing Skylar continuously.
Luckily the bell rang and Skylar sighed in relief ” tell them to stop ” Skylar complained and Levi smirked ” Why ?” Levi asked instead and Brooklyn laughed.
” So you guys are dating now ?” Kylie asked teasingly and Levi paused suddenly ” What’s wrong ?” Antonio asked ” c’mon let’s go ” Levi replied as he pulled Skylar away.
Everyone froze as they stared at the person standing by the school gate quietly ” is that Kiara ?” Bea asked.
” This would be fun ” Charlotte replied as she flipped her hair and walked away, Skylar ran to Kiara as she hold Kiara’s cold hands ” Skylar..” Kiara called as she patted her hair.
” What are you doing here? Is Hadley around ?” LEVI asked confused and Kiara shake her head ” Kiara, gosh am your biggest fan ” Kylie yelled as she hugged Kiara suddenly.
Someone suddenly pulled Kylie away with one hand ” I knew Hadley won’t allow Kiara to come out alone ” Levi added as Alexis hissed.
Alexis didn’t want to come here in the first place, but Kiara couldn’t stop talking about meeting Skylar, they came here without Hadley permission which was very risky.
Alexis and Antonio looked at each other quietly ” c’mon Kiara, I’ll show you my new home ” Skylar said as she pulled Kiara away.
Levi and Alexis frowned immediately ” she just left me here ” Levi complained ” wait for me ” Kylie yelled as she ran after them.
Levi face turn serious as he looked at Alexis ” She seems different ” Levi said referring to Kiara ” She’s starving, due to her punishment, her desire for blood increased so you better keep an eye on them before Kiara kills them ” Alexis said and Levi frowned.
