CHAPTER 7
“I’m tired of reading ” lily complained as she rest her head on the table. They have been reading and reading trying to find out about this ONI of a thing but got nothing.
” Hey, I got something ” Tracy said and they rushed towards her direction ” It says here that ONI are mostly known for their fierce and evil nature, manifested in their properity for murder and cannibalism. Not with standing attacking their third eye” Tracy said reading from the book.
” She must be very strong ” Oscar added and Lily fell down ” We are doomed ” she said and Luke rolled his eyes ” I’ll get coffee for everyone ” Kiara said walking out.
” Do you thinking sneaking into the school Library at night is good ?” Lily asked all of a sudden and Antonio laughed darkly ” Relax girl, no one will see us ” Antonio assured
Kiara brought coffee as she started making way through the dark hall, she was thinking about the woman and her motive.
The hall was dark and quiet until she heard footsteps begin her, she turned back but found ni one there. The hall was empty she turned around and continue walking, she could hear the footsteps but when she turned back no one was there .
” Oscar, this isn’t funny,I’m pretty scared of the dark ” Kiara said calmly but got no response” Hello “Kiara called out but her voice just echoed in the hall way.
She was sure someone or something was following her, she turned around to continue walking when she heard a voice calling her name ” Kiara ”
For some reason the voice send shover down her spine , she swallowed as she turn around slowly only to see the woman in her ONI form
” Surprise surprise ” she said and Kiara dropped the tray before stepping back ” What do you want and who are you ?” Kiara asked as she continued stepping back but the beast step forward.
” You already know who I am ” she said as she ran towards Kiara direction. Kiara who saw the beats running towards her turned around and started running with her full strength.
” Don’t bother running Kiara, you’re already dead ” she heard the beast said ” Dead ” she only know one thing that of she stops, she will be killed and she won’t let that happen.
Kiara was fast but not that fast for the beast since it was already getting closer ” She needs to run fast ” she thought but found herself falling.
” Nooo ” she screamed In her head as she tried to stand up but the beats was already standing in front of her.
Her sharp breath was on Kiara’s face, the beats carrier her iron clubs up and ready to smash Kiara right there till she dies.
* Smash *
The iron hit the ground as Kiara rolled away quickly, the beats hit the ground again but Kiara was fast to dodge it.
Angrily she picked Kiara up from the ground with her one hand ” Little Bîtch, you can’t escape from me ” she said as her hold on Kiara’s neck tightened.
” Please…..stop…you….are…. choking …mee” Kiara tried to speak. Her vision was getting blur, she had to act fast.
She managed to bring out a knife and stabbed the beast hand only to be smashed on the wall heavy and the knife fell down .
She groaned in pain as she managed to get up and started running with the creature behind her ” Someone help me ” she yelled with all her might.
” Wait did you guys hear that ? ” Lily asked as she stared at them ” Kiara ” Oscar said before running out of the Library.
Kiara was about to take a left turn when the beast dragged her and throw her back roughly
* Thug *
Kiara landed hardly on the wall with a groan ” Fuçk ” she cursed as she tried to stand up but the beast did the same thing.
” What’s your Fuçking problem ?” She asked as she hissed in annoyance, her eyes slowly changed colors when suddenly the beast was thrown hardly across the hallway far away from Kiara.
Kiara quickly blinked and her eyes returned back to normal ” Finally…. What took you guys so long ?” Kiara asked standing up .
Antonio eyes were red as he launched towards the beast and a loud sound was heard
* Clash *
The glass Windows broke as the beast was thrown towards the window, the five wolves attacked the best thus she was strong she was badly wounded as she managed to escape.
They returned back to their human form and turn to see Kiara panicking ” Se….se….sec…. security guards are coming ” she said through her uneven breath.
” Let’s go quickly ” Oscar said as he carried Kiara and they ran out, luckily Luke’s jeep was packed behind the school.
They immediately left the school environment and went to Kiara’s house since it was the closest. Arriving at Kiara’s house they made their way to he kitchen ” Get me some ice ” Oscar said and Tracy nodded.
” This might hurt a little ” Oscar warned as he took the ice pack from Tracy before pressing it on Kiara’s shoulders.
After countless screaming Oscar was finally done ” Quiet lazy bones, it’s done now ” Tracy said removing her hands from her ears.
” Huh lazy bones ? I fought that beast on my own before you guys arrived ” Kiara said proudly and Lili snuffed ” Yeah, we can see that ” lily teased.
“What are you trying to say ?” Kiara asked, she couldn’t believe that think she’s lazy and can’t protect herself, yes they are right but she isn’t ready to admit it.
She frowned slightly looking at the girls who were giggling to themselves ” Don’t frown it makes you look cute ” Oscar said messing up his hair ” Huh ” Kiara let out an awkward sound.
” Stop it Oscar ” Luke said pushing Oscar slightly but he just smirked . Antonio cleared his throat and looked at Kiara who was now red like a tomato.
” You’re making her blush ” Lily commented and Kiara covered her face with her hands ” No am not ” she lied and Oscar laughed .
” We all know you’re blushing” Tracy added and Kiara shake her head in disagreement ” We need to see your aunt tomorrow, is that possible ? ” Antonio asked seriously.
” Why ” they asked simultaneously and he sighed ” She’s the only one who can help us now ” Antonio replied and Kiara nodded.
” I’ll inform them in advance ” Kiara said bringing out her phone and walking out ” What do you mean by that ? ” Luke asked seriously as Kiara walked out .
” Something isn’t right ” Oscar said and they exchanged looks. ” Some creatures are in town and we need to be careful and the hunters has become alarmed ” lily replied.
” We have to find out what’s happening, and where those creatures came from all of a sudden ” Tracy said sitting down.
” I agree with Tracy ” lily added and they looked at Antonio and Oscar. ” I don’t know where those creatures came from but I’m guessing Kiara’s aunt know something about it ” Antonio said.
Kiara walked in and looked at them ” We are allowed to see her but it had to be in the morning ” Kiara said waiting for their reply.
” Okay, we are having a sleep over then ” Antonio said and she smiled widely ” we will play games, build, pillow castles and – ” lily was cut short by Oscar ” Let’s just get some rest, I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a long day ”
Lily shoulders dropped as Oscar just ruined her happiness” save your strength lily ” Tracy said seriously.
