Candie cleared mara from police charges and also paid her bills then she was set free , his brows frown when he saw how fragile and weak she look. She spent the night at the police unit ,he couldn’t get her out on time because of Austin situation and for her own safety .
“Mara “he called and carefully caress her face ,her soulless eyes move up at his face .
“I-is she okay “she stuttered and Candie nodded .
“She’s fine ,C’mon let’s go home “he said calmly but she shook her head negative .
“No I wanna see Maya ”
“Mara you have to take your bath before going there ” he said
“No Candie Ohio wanna see Maya ,I wanna know if she’s truely okay “she said soberly.
” I will take you to her but first you need to bath “he said and pull her into his arms , Candie and Mara stepped out of the police department only the find a huge crowd outside both fans and reporters . The police were trying to control the crowd .
“Look it’s her “someone yell and all eyes move to mara and Candie ,the crowd went wild as they rush forward .

” ARE THE ALLEGATIONS ON MR SMITH TRUE ” the reporters were asking random questions as they try to get close to mara and Candie who were being protected by guards .
“C’mon let’s go “he said and they both walk through the crowd and just as they got close to their car someone threw a stone at mara but Candie quickly shielded with his body and the stone hit his head .
“Candie “mara scream but he smile despite the blood rolling down his forehead.
“You’re bleeding , you’re bleeding”she said
“Don’t worry am fine just give me a second “he said and turn the crowd ,his expression instantly darken .
“No listen up and listen good all of you “he thunder the crowd went silent.
” I don’t what version of this story you are have in your block heads but let me make something clear , if you’re a fan of that bastard Austin and you have a big plan in mind to hurt mara then you better think again .
If anyone dare touch a single hair from my girlfriend head I swear I will hunt that person down . Austin got what he deserve after all bastards like him deserve to die . ” He yell , Candie pick up the stone that was thrown at mara earlier and he glared at the direction the stone was throne from ,he doesn’t know who threw it anyways .
” This should be the last time anyone will try to hurt her “he said and threw the stone back on the ground then he turn to see mara staring keenly at him .
This is the first time a stranger is standing up for her ,aside for maya and Dan no one else had her back .
She rush and hug him tight while sobbing

Meanwhile Damon slept beside Maya all the through the night ,he felt someone hand on his hair and he open his eyes .
“You’re awake “Maya said smiling and he quickly sat up , he rush and hug her tight but she wince in pain .

“Ouch Damon you’re squeezing me tight “she manage to say and he broke off from her and smile .
“Sorry I was just happy to see you awake ,gush I was worried sick “he said , Maya glance down at her hand guiltily.

“Shhh you’re awake thank god ” Davina shriek the moment she walk in .
“Hey Dav”Maya greeted with a smile .
” Gush that bastard deserve to die ” Davina said and sat beside Maya .

“She was arrested last night “Davina said and Maya gasps
“A-arrested why “she panic ,the entrance door push open and lucky walk in holding a balloon.

“Good morning Maya I got this for you “he said and gave the balloon to her .
“Why are you giving her a balloon “Davina ask and lucky rolled his eyes .

“Thanks lucky ,mmm what did you guys said happen to mara “Maya ask , Davina use her phone to search for the scene last night . Maya eyes almost popped out of her skull after watching the video of how mara went psycho mode .
“Geez she went all out last night ,is she gonna be okay “Maya ask and they all nodded .
“Yap I heard Candie already took her home ,they will be here anytime soon “lucky said .
“Okay ” Maya said ,they was a brief silent then Maya stomach grumble out loud .
“Oops I guess am hungry “she said smiling awkwardly.
“You should be ,C’mon lucky let’s go buy her something to eat . What will you like to eat “Davina ask
“Rice will be enough “she said and Davina nodded ,she drag lucky with her and they both left the room .
Damon and Maya were now left alone ones again .

“Huh .. what did I say “he ask confuse ,Maya couldn’t bring herself to look at him so she just kept her gaze on her fingers .
“I heard all you said ,yes i-is know I was unconscious but I heard you loud and clear “she said ,Damon had a confuse look on his face .
“I don’t get you ” he said and she huff and look up at his face .
“You said you’re in love with me “she said and Damon eyes bulk out .

“You don’t have to deny it Damon I heard it ,well I don’t know if I feel the same way. I have never been in a relationship before but I kinds feel weird “she mumbled and Damon smile , Maya shiver when Damon place his cold palm on her face . He turn her face to his direction and now they were staring at each other eye balls to eye balls .
” Maya you’re a beautiful talented girl ,a girl any man will die for . Yes I agree am in love with you I really do love you “he admit his feeling and Maya face redden .
” I don’t know Damon I don’t know if…”
” you don’t don’t have to feel the same ,love is a gradual process . Why don’t we go out on a date let’s start from somewhere ” he said
“You want me to …to go out on a date with you . As your girlfriend “she said with eyes wide open and he nodded a yes .
“Yes I will be happy if you agree “he said and Maya heart throb fast in her chest ,was this a dream or something .

It wasn’t easy bailing Austin out ,the videos made things even worst for him . His father was still medically down but he manege to find a away to get Austin out of prison . Mr Smith channeled a lot of money in order to release Austin.
As soon as Austin walked into the Smith mansion his heart froze when he saw his boss manager Mr Sion standing beside his father .

” Am sorry Austin the allegations on you is gonna affect our company, your contract with Gucci has been terminated as well as your contract with JD design cooperation. Please sign the files which shows that you are aware of your contract termination “Mr Sion said coldly .
