Maya was home alone watching movie when her phone beep and she smile and pick it up , it’s a text massage from Damon . Shortly the entrance door got unlock and Damon walk in a box of pizza
“You’re still seating here , geez aren’t you tired “he ask and place the pizza on the table then he lean close to hiss her lips .
“Am bored , mara is not here to cheer me up and am not in the mood to go to work “she whine
“Yeah yeah what ever , we can go to a movie together ” he suggested, he sat beside her . Maya place her head on his shoulders with her gaze on the tv .
” Nah I have been watching lots of videos today “she grumble
“Fine what do you want to do “he ask and Maya sat up
” That’s a nice question , why don’t we go to the beach. It’s gonna be splendid.” She said but Damon scoff
“Why go to a beach ”
“C’mon babe it’s gonna be romantic, just me and you at the night beach awe it’s gonna be fun ” she said grinning but he clearly doesn’t fancy the idea of going to a night beach .
“C’mon babe it’s gonna be fun , they will be a camp fire ,loud music , boats , story tellers ,dancing . And above all cultural display of art .” She count
” Okay okay I agree but what will I get as compensation “he ask with a smirk and Maya press her lips together .
“What do you want “she ask
” Am gonna bath you tonight deal or no deal ” he said and Maya cheek redden , she could still remember the last time he bath her . It was embarrassing but it kinds felt good not to talk of the fact that they almost had sëx in the bathroom.
” Deal “she said and he beam
“Alright baby go get yourself ready “he said
“Hahaha it’s gonna be great “she ran off to get ready , Damon huff and then he noticed Maya phone was ringing . It was a call from Alex
“Damon is my phone ringing “Maya yelled from inside her room , Damon silent the phone
“No “he yelled back .
💜💜 Night beach
The night beach is a popular hotel located at the beach , this place is like a fun zone were people come to enjoy themselves at night . The night beach was already filled up with people moving to and fro laughing and chatting , most were lovers , family,single etc . Despite the dark sky the beach was bright due to the lights and they were provision of loud music .
A group of ladies dresses in multicolors dresses could be seen dancing , it was like a carnival or something . Maya and Damon were seated under a design umbrella while watching the ladies .
” This place is pretty lively “she said and Damon nodded .
“Yeah , the dancers are beautiful “he mumble
“You know am right here right “she snap and Damon giggle
“Don’t tell me you’re jealous,C’mon love you’re my one and only . My missing rib “he said and Maya laugh
” @$$hOle , C’mon let’s dance ” she jump down from the chair and grab Damon hand .
“Huh , wait ..wait ” Damon yell but she drag him straight to the arena where the women are dancing .
“Don’t tell me your talent ends at the design workshop , C’mon shake your body ” Maya yell to Damon who filt little bit uncomfortable. The ladies were dancing uniformly so Maya quickly adapt to their dance step , Damon was such a fast learn like her so he dance off key .
Many people who were watching laugh at how hilarious his dance moves were .
“Hahaha ” they both laugh heartily enjoying themselves and after about 3 minutes they both left the dancers and rush to the bar to get something to drink.
” You dance like a chicken ” Maya said trying to catch her breath
“Me , nah you were the one dancing like a chicken “he defended
“Sir what should I get you 2 to drink “the bar tender said politely .
” Anything soft will be okay “Damon said to the bar tender who nodded and quickly poured out 2 cups of orange juice .
” I love Hindi dance it’s like ..” Maya did a quick demonstration even the bar tender couldn’t help but laugh .
” I prefer our America dance ” Damon shrug
“Sir are you 2 on honeymoon “the bar tender ask , Maya wrapped her arm around Damon shoulder and pull him close to herself.
“Don’t we look good together” she ask the bartender
“Oh yes you do ”
” C’mon let’s go to the art gallery” Maya drag Damon with who just followed beside her .
The gallery is a huge building who’s walls are covered with pointed portraits and other art works , Maya and Damon stroll down the long hall way admiring the arts . They both walked into a pink room where a huge painted portrait of a dark skin girl holding a water pot was hanging on the wall. The captivating smile of the painted girl got Maya attention.
” Woa I wonder who made this masterpiece”she said ,she ran her fingers on the portrait feeling it’s texture then she turn to Damon
” Isn’t it beautiful”she ask staring at his face , the pink room glow bright pink due to the pink bulbs hanging all around the room .
“The only beautiful art here is you Maya “he said staring at her face
” If there’s any masterpiece in here then it’s you and I would have been honoured to be the artist who made it “he said and Maya giggle , she wrapped her arms around his neck while he held on her waist and pull her close to himself.
” You’re spoiling me Damon hhaha “she said
“If I don’t spoil you then who should I ,you are my baby ” he said and they both kissed passionately
“Mmmm “Maya Mõ@n under his lips and just then a Camara light flash and they broke from the kiss and turn only to find a lady standing there with a camera hanging on her neck .
“Woa sorry about that ,I…”
“You can’t just take pictures of people with out their knowledge” Damon snap
“Am sorry about that ,I couldn’t just help it . Wow you 2 look good together. Sorry my name is Nora Alen am an artist and the art work behind you was made by me ” Nora said
“Wait did you just say Nora Alen ,like the Nora Alen who won JB art award last year “Maya ask and Nora nodded
“Yes that Nora ”
“Am a big fan , sorry my name is Maya and this is…”
“Damon McCall I know him ,he’s kinds popular in my line of work ” Nora said staring at Damon with a big smile .
“Nice to meet you Nora “Damon said extending his hand for a handshake which Nora quickly accepted.
“Wow you’re a suck a handsome guy haha don’t get me wrong ” she said with a flirting smile
” Thanks and you’re beautiful, I love your art work it’s wonderful ” Damon said and Nora giggle
“Really , I got the inspiration on one of my tour in Africa . Their culture ,dressing , hairstyles, beauty, body shape and their way of life . I most say Africa is one of the most blessed continents In the world . Tell me Damon what’s your opinion about this art ” Nora ask Damon who return his gaze to the painting .
“Your painting is great am gonna rate it with 8/10 ” Damon said and Nora frown at his rating .
“8/,10 why isn’t it beautiful enough to get 10/10 “she ask little bit annoyed. Maya was quietly listening to them since she had noting to contribute.
“Don’t get me wrong Nora your design is great ,everything about it is great but…”
“But what “Nora cut in and Damon smile ,Damon walk over to Maya . Maya didn’t even know when he hug her from behind and his chin was placed on her left shoulder , Nora just watch him.
” No mater how good your art is it’s no match for mine , my art work is the best the best of the best “he said and kiss Maya neck , Nora just watch then dumbfounded.
“I don’t understand”she mumbled ,Maya cheek redden as Damon hype her .
“What am saying is my love here is the greatest artwork of all time. She’s my own art ,my own masterpiece” he said and quickly turn Maya around and place a warm kiss on her lips right in front of Nora who couldn’t help but smile .
