Eve is my mother. like biblical Eve she’s hard working, Loving and emotional.

My father wasn’t helping matters at home at all. he use to do well when he was working overseas but lack of planning made him and my mother to start living like old people because they couldn’t invest their money on something. What they care about then was going from place to place lavishing dad’s money on things that are irrelevant.

Life Became miserable for us when my father lost his job, so like biblical Adam my father’s struggles began like someone who was cursed by our village people.

My father would come home drunk at night, sometimes he would start beating my mum for no Reason.

When ever he does that the only thought in my head was to kill him I swear. But what to do? I’m just a teenager but I know I’ll definitely kill him when I grow Up because I h@të him when ever I see him laying his filthy hands on my mum.

my father would turn to people he has helped in time past, but no one would help him, some would give irrelevant excuses.

My father started depending on men to feed, it became very difficult for him to look for job to do because of laziness, thank God for my mother who’s doing her Akara (Bean Cake) business to support the family or else we would have been like corpses.

Mother tried all she possibly could to make sure I go to school, but unfortunately my educational future couldn’t go as planned because I later lost my Father when I was in SS-3 so I became a school dropout.

The expenses of my dad’s burial cost my mom alot that it even became difficult for her to continue her Akara business.

Life Became miserable everyday for us to the extent we could barely feed.

I had to blend in with some teenage girls in my Area who already had boyfriends. after all there’s one bros Gisting me (Tunde) Though he’s twice my age but I didn’t mind because I needed money desperately.

One day my mother woke early in the morning and started crying helplessly, it was even her voice that woke me up from sleep.

I asked her why she was crying she said “Nothing” I knew she was crying because there’s no food at home for us to eat, 🤔I started contemplating if I should go and meet Tunde for help.

the last time I visited him he almost took advantage of me, I Told him I was a Virgin but he doubted because I was too Spoilt to still be virgin that was he thought.

After I finish contemplating I went to Tunde’s house again to offer my body to him so he could help me with money.

Tunde was indeed surprise that I was a virgin and that made him to start loving me genuinely.

The experience was very painful because it was my first time 😢, Tunde actually took care of me like a baby that day.

I Went home later and gave my mother from the money Tunde gave me and I saved the rest.
Just like that song that is being sang in church 🎶my helper oh, (my Helper) my helper oh (my helper) something has made me run into your presence my helper. there’s something that made me run into your presence my helper🎶

That was what Tunde was, he became our destiny helper, I don’t really love him because he’s twice my age but I like him because he’s caring and always Advices me.

One of the advice he gave me was learning handwork instead of looking for a way to go Back to school, it was difficult because I love education but also had no choice because he’s the one taking responsibility of the job I’d be learning, so I actually settled on learning fashion and designing.
