Chapter 33?

“Britt, I’m sorry okay?” Milena sighed, looking at her as she quietly took and ate her apple from the other plate.

She dropped the apple and faced Milena. “Pfft! Just come here.” She cooed and they hugged each other.

Naptha clapped like a kindergarten teacher. “So, tell me all that happened in school today?” She asks.

Brittany scoffed. “Weird things happened.” Milena replied as she went to pick one of Brittany’s apple.

She slapped her hands away. “Hey! That’s mine.” Brittany shouts. “There’s love in sharing you know.” She winked.

“We met with cool friends and we rolled well together.” Milena started. “And Brittany got a detention.” She silently watched Brittany’s reaction.

Naptha laughed. “So it seems, you got a detention on your first day…now I see that’s weird.” She laughed again.

Brittany glared at Milena for bringing such topic. “The teacher and students all behaved like Fuçking Çüñts while I stood up for one of our friends.” She explained.

“There’s actually nothing bad in standing up for your friend as it displays love and affection but you have to do it the right way.” She advised.

“Obviously, she did it the wrong way and I tried giving her a warning but she ended up getting a detention.” Milena hicupped, trying to stop her laughter.

Brittany is red like a tomato now and she also laughed together with them. “Is it that girl that made you vomit blood?” Milena suddenly asks.

Brittany nodded. “But what did you do to her? Did you guys have a misunderstanding before?” She asks.

Brittany rolled her eyes. “Today was my first day of seeing her wicked face and I didn’t do anything to her.” She replied.

Milena sighed. “What’s with people and causing trouble?” She asked.

“I think because I shut the class up the other time and I was sitting directly opposite her but I never thought she was going to use her supernatural powers on me in the cafeteria.” She explained her thoughts.

“She should called for a fight and we should pick a date instead of behaving like a Bîtch.” Milena seems angry now.

Brittany smiled and hugged her. “Now, I like that spirit. You’d help me kick her @$$ right?” She asked.

“Of course.” Milena shrugged.
Brittany’s smile faded off when she saw Milena’s eyes flashed in yellow color. “Maltilda?” She gasped.

The door suddenly bursts open and Prince Flynn walked inside slowly, holding his neck. “Red….” Maltilda whispered and….

They both fell down, going unconscious. “What the Fuçk….is happening?” Brittany looked perplexed with the whole situation.

Naptha’s mouth was slightly parted. ” What’s wrong with them?” Brittany asks, poking Milena’s body but surprised when it felt limp.

“First, lock the door.” Naptha ordered and disappeared. “She disappeared again?” Brittany muttered, locking the door.

Brittany tried waking Milena but she wasn’t answering. “What the hell could have happened to them?” She asked no one in particular.

Naptha reappeared again with a big book. “I think it’s as a result of their covenant.” She replied.

Brittany looks at her like she just said rubbish. “What covenant?” She asked. “Now, I see that you are even more dumbass than Milena.” She scolded.

Brittany scoffed, watching as she cut herself and let blood drip on the opening of the book. “The covenant that binds them together.” She answered.

Brittany muttered an ohh. “Does that mean they will continue to get unconscious?” She asked.

Naptha shook her head. “I think it’s the covenant.” “The book says if the time the covenant was created lapses, it has to be recreated.” She read.

Brittany scoffed. “Are you saying the covenant has to be renewed?” She asked. “I think so.” Naptha replied.

“With what? Blood?” She asks. Naptha chuckled. “Not everything is to be renewed by blood.”

“But it is in this case.” She rolled her eyes. “Do you know when last they had intercourse?” Naptha asks.

Brittany scoffed. “What am I? A séx calendar?” She asked, rolling her eyes and Naptha laughed.

“I guess it’s been a while accompanied with the fact that Rejou is trying to create a distance between them.” Naptha says.

“Which means, the distance created is the problem.” Brittany drawled out. “But why did Prince Flynn create such distance?” She asked.

Naptha sighed. “A long time ago story and it can’t be said now. We have to look for a way to wake this two.” She concluded.

“How?” Brittany asks. Naptha stood up and together, they carried the two people laying them side by side.

“I’m not sure yet.” She answered, opening the book again. “What type of covenant makes one unconscious, have intercourse and forgets this next day?” She scoffed.

“A blood covenant. The covenant was created when two demons mated.” Naptha says.

“It’s not even about them, it’s about their demons.” Brittany’s eyes widened and Naptha nodded.

“Is that why veins were coming out from Maltilda’s eyes and mouth?” She gasped. “Who is Maltilda?” Naptha asked.

“Maltilda is Milena’s demon.” She replied. “You gave her a name?” Naptha asks and Britt shook her head negatively. “She named herself.” She answered.

Naptha gasped, cutting herself again and let it drop on the book. “She’s trying to separate herself from Milena.” She muttered.

“How’s that even possible? We made sure we merged them the other day.” She huffed. “That’s where the problem lies.” Naptha replied.

“I don’t understand.” She sighed. “The veins on the face, hands, stomach or any part of the body of a demon is caused by hunger for blood.” Naptha reads from the book.

Brittany gasped. “That explains why she wanted so much to bring blood out of Nora before you intervened.” She remembers.

Naptha nodded and continued reading. “If they are stopped from getting the blood, they become aggressively calm, cunning and friendly to get blood.” She reads.

“That explains why she stood up for me because she was trying to control herself seeing the sight of my blood.”

“What blood? Your blood? How?” Naptha asks. “Something happened when we were eating and I just felt something rushing through my veins as I started bleeding from my mouth.” She explained.

Naptha heaved a sigh. “Demons don’t suck or drink blood from any part of the body except from the chest…the heart.” She says.

“What?? Ewwww!” She yelp in disgust. “Which eventually makes the veins disappear.” Naptha chuckled softly.

“What do we do now to make them wake up?” Brittany asks. “They have to come together.” Naptha reply.

“In their unconscious state?” Brittany scoffed, glancing at the two unconscious people on the bed.

Naptha sent a straight face. “I mean…their demons.” She says. “It’s still the same thing, they won’t be able to do that in their unconscious state.” Brittany contradicts.

Naptha opened the book again. “For the covenant to be renewed, they have to be intimate with their demons.” She started.

“And to achieve that, their demons has to be invoked.” She closes the book. “Well, that would be your job to do.” Brittany smiled.

Naptha glance at the bed. “I’m afraid there is a problem.” She says lowly. “What is it now?” Brittany groans.

Naptha stands up from her seat. “The Demon enchantment spell I have is kinda dangerous.”

“Spill it!” Brittany slaps her forehead, feeling tired. “If I invoke the spell, half of the demons in this centurion would be awakened and we will be in so much trouble just like it happened a thousand years ago.” She explains.

Brittany chuckled, nervously. “I don’t understand. What do you mean by demons would be awakened?” She asks.

Naptha sighed. “About a thousand year ago, a powerful dark witch was angry on something and through this anger, a very dark and powerful demon possessed her, instructed her to chant a particular spell.”

“Unknown to her, it was a powerful demon spell. She chanted till more than half of the demons which were in their kingdom asleep, awakened and started their murderous activity.” She explained.

“Which simply means it will be a grear disaster chanting that spell to invoke their demons.” Brittany replied, putting her hands against her chest.

“But why will that happen when all we want to do is invoke just two demons?” She asked.

“Demons are very appealing, disatrous, unsatisfied and lustful for blood. We are to invoke them because of a certain blood covenant between them.” She replies.

Brittany nods. “Okay? We can’t invoke their demons using the spell. How does the book require us to invoke their demons now?” She asks the obvious question.

Naptha was silent for awhile. “The only other way is to make them lust for blood.” She replied
