One of Natasha’s tooh flew out as she spined twice in a circle before falling down unconscious.
*gasps*

👥: She’s going to be in trouble, no one dares Natasha
👥: She has Dina backing her up
👥: Wh@tëver, all I know is Natasha deserves it.
The video of Jewel slapping Natasha was trending on the school blog and she soon became everyone’s talk.
Zach saw the video and a smirk spread on his lips as he walked towards where Jewel was.
“Hey” Zach waved when he got to Jewel.
“Hi” Jewel replied awkwardly.
“Are you busy?” He asked
“We were already leaving” Jewel said she picked her fingers. The atmosphere was too awkward for her. She was about turning to leave when Dina said “Um, I forgot, our music lecturer Mr. Jones requested to see me so I’ll leave you two” Dina said as she left the duo.
She eyed Jewel while Jewel could only swear in her mind.
“Never knew you had such boldness in you” Zach said as they walked away from the scene where Natasha was still lying down unconscious.
“It just depends on my mood” Jewel said and Zach faced her.
“We were picked as dance partners” He said as he adjusted a strand of hair that was on her face.
“Thanks and I’ll try not to ruin the dance” Jewel said as she shifted backwards a little.
“I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable” Zach apologized as he pocketed his hands.
“Oh, it’s nothing. It’s fine” Jewel said as she eye searched for Dina.
She soon caught sight of Dina hiding behind a locker, obviously eavesdropping on their conversation.
“Um, I have to go, I think Dina lost her way to the Lecturer’s office” She said as she quickly walked away from the awkwardness.
****ALEX’S MANSION****
“It’s not true right?”
“You’re just an illusion?” Alex asked as Luke who was before him.
“This isn’t real right?” Alex asked again
“Hi buddy, it’s really me” Luke said with a sad smile.
“You can’t be dead, No you really can’t be right????”
Alex asked again not wanting to believe the reality before him
“I know it’s a hard truth but you need to believe it” Luke said, his voice almost failing.
“How did you die? Who killed you?” Alex asked and Luke narrated everything he knows to him from how he had a lost memory to how Zach is a suspect leaving no detail behind.
“It breaks my heart so much that I have to let go but how can I help?” Alex asked
*****RISE MANSION (JEWEL’S HOME)****
“What was that string you pulled earlier” Jewel asked.
“Chill gurl, He’s your crush and you need to take a step” Dina said and irritated Jewel stood up to chase Dina who ran away for her life.
They ran till they got to the Dinning room and a great scent greeted them.
“Gawd, I’m hungry” Dina said as she sat down and started eating.
“I’m glad you liked it. I made more than enough for everyone” Glenda said as she faced Jewel.
“I’m not hungry” She said as she rushed to her room.
Glenda smile disappeared as sadness took over.
‘I deserve it’ She said inwardly
“Don’t worry, she will come around” Dina said with full mouth.
“Oh how I missed your cooking” Dina said and a small bright smile appeared on Glenda’s face.
“Please pack some for my family” Dina said while stuffing more food into her tiny mouth.
****JEWEL’S ROOM
Jewel was staring into space when Luke appeared.
“What’s wrong?” He asked walking closer to her.
“It’s nothing, How was it? Between you and Alex” Jewel said changing the question
“I think he needs some time to himself, but I promised to visit tomorrow” Luke said and Jewel nodded.
“Thank you” He said
“For what??” Jewel asked
“For everything” He said staring at her.
“It’s nothing, I’m just glad I had the chance to meet my idol” Jewel said locking gaze.
They remained that way and soon their hands started moving closer.
Closer…..closer…..closer…..closer…and it passed through.
‘Gosh! I forgot I’m just air’ Luke thought inwardly as he stood up.
“Where are you going to???” Jewel asked
“Just taking a stroll. Goodnight” He said disappearing while Jewel cuddled herself on the bed.
****NEXT DAY (POTTER’S COLLEGE)****
“I know you can do it. You’re gonna kill it” Dina hyped Jewel as she tied her shoe lace.
They were in the dance class and Jewel would have to partner with Zach.
She lifted her head slowly and looked to her side. She saw Zach waving at her and she forced a little smile out.
She turned to the opposite direction and found Natasha who was glaring daggers at her. Jewel chuckled when she saw Natasha teeth with a gap.
“I’mma kill her” Natasha said under her breath and Sheila faced her.
“I thought you said your dad was coming on Monday” Sheila said as she arranged Natasha’s hair.
“I can’t wait any longer. I will have to get half the job done by myself and when he comes he can take over” Natasha said as she reapplied makeup on her face.
“Do you have any plan in mind” Sydney asked and Natasha faced her with a devilish smile. “The best plan”
“Gather round everyone” Mr. Liam their dance teacher said.
“Today as you all know would be a pair, so go to your respective partners” He said and everyone paired up.
Dina was paired with a random guy while Jewel went over to Zach.
“I brought Mr. Jones. He will be picking the music you all are gonna dance too”
“Remember, this is part of your test so don’t mess up” Mr. Jones as he played the music.
Everyone started dancing except the team of Zach and Jewel.
Jewel was extremely nervous and so Zach moved as step forward.
“You can do it, bestie” Dina shouted from where she was.
Jewel gulped down her spit when she felt Zach’s hands on her waist. She lifted her head and locked eyes with him.
Soon she started moving slowly to the rhythm of the music.
Slow steps became quicker and she danced perfectly with Zach. The others stopped their dance to watch the duo.
Who thought Jewel would be a perfect dancer????
Natasha gritted her teeth from where she was. Mr. Jones stared in awe. Isn’t this the same Jewel who comes late to his class dressed like a clown???
Dina started at the duo and smiled ‘I can’t believe she is finally dancing with her crush’
Everyone had a thing or two going on in their minds as they gave way for the duo who were dancing oblivious to their environment.
Soon the song ended and the dance came to an end but was immediately followed by a loud round of applause.
“That was awesome. I didn’t know you had that in you” Zach said bringing Jewel back to earth.
“Excuse me” Jewel said as she rushed out.
She ran till she got to a secluded part of the college as she took in deep breaths.
“Jewel” Dina called when she got to her. She had followed after Jewel.
“You killed it out there. I still can’t believe you danced with your crush” Dina gushed
“He’s no longer my crush” Jewel said lifting her head.
“What do you mean?” Dina asked with raised eyebrows.
“Yesterday, I realized that I had nothing for Zach. I felt no butterflies in my stomach. Instead it was anger to hit you in the head for leaving me to him” Jewel said and chuckled at her own words
“But this makes no sense. If you don’t have a crush on Zach, how come you danced to kill few minutes ago?” Dina asked
“I wasn’t seeing Zach all throughout the dance” Jewel said and continued “I was seeing Luke. I thought I was dancing with Luke”
“This doesn’t make sense, Luke is at Alex’s, so….” Dina said facing Jewel
“The thing is that, I….” Jewel paused trying to read Dina’s expression as silence reigned.
Then Jewel dropped the bombshell….
“I THINK I HAVE A CRUSH ON LUKE”
