Chapter 61 – Pile Of Dead Bodies
“He does what he want I guess.” She mumbled stiffly, and he could tell she was upset if she tried hiding it.
“Then what is it you want?” He asked.
She looked at him, bewildered by his sudden question. Her eye danced around wildly before they fell back on him.
“What I want doesn’t matter.”
“Yes it does.”
“No it doesn’t.”
Taeyong sighed, forgetting how stubborn SoMi was. Just like Johnny. “You matter SoMi.” He affirmed. He saw light enter SoMi’s eyes as if it was the first time in her life hearing such things.
Usually what she wanted didn’t matter, because nobody thought she mattered. SoMi was the girl who grew up alone. She was the girl who didn’t have any support or love throughout her teenage years. She grew lonely, scared, and frightened. In the end, it was either, she fell or built up walls to hide all her pain. She went with the latter one. Deep inside however, she was still just a little girl who needed someone there for her.
“I just want someone who will love me.”
….
His knife pierced several stab wounds before he watched the figure fall onto the ground. A satisfied grin appeared on his handsome face as he turned around. Another gang member ran at him and he easily deflected the person’s attack. He side stepped to the right, brought up his knee and hit the man in the stomach before throwing several punches into his face.
He pulled out his gun and aimed it towards the man and pressed the trigger. A blood hurling gunshot echo went off before that man fell onto the growing piles of dead bodies.
The rest of the mission was finished off with guns and knives. Night fall eventually hit which provided the protection they needed in cleaning the place up.
This scene was similar to the scene that occurred right when they arrived in Korea. The only difference was that they had one less woman trying to snake her way into his life. And he had one more job of trying to keep her out of his life.
“You really went too far.” Taeyong stated as he made his way over to Johnny. He looked perfectly fine despite being half covered in blood, dust, and what not. He even had the same doe-like innocent intact to him. Ah, innocent was an unusual way to describe Taeyong.
“They were working with Chenle. I’m trying to send a message; ‘We want you dead and until you are, we’ll kill everyone and anyone associated with you.” Johnny explained for the thousandth time.
Taeyong nodded understandingly knowing there was a second reason why Johnny decided to go all Terminator on them.
“Are you sure this isn’t because of someone else?” Taeyong carefully asked.
Nct127 had infiltrated a low-leveled underground gang who was getting their arms and weapons from Chenle. Now they were nothing.
Johnny knew all too well what Taeyong was taking about and if he didn’t like Taeyong was much as he did, his friend would be joining these dead bodies.
“Why must you keep bringing her up?”
He did a good job at cutting her out of his life. So what if he had to deal with the negative press and his parents it was worth it.
“Because you’re being Sh|t about it.” He answered. Before Johnny could say anything back, Doyoung walked into the room.
“You can say it was somewhat of a secret that Johnny and Taeyong were having these conversations about SoMi.
Johnny was mainly trying to make Johnny admit that he made a mistake, and that was never easy to do.
“What the hell are you two arguing about now?” Doyoung hissed at them. He was angry because not one of the gang members had managed to cut his lower abdomen while they were fighting.
It wasn’t serious and he wouldn’t need medical treatment, but it bruised his ego that a lowly gang member had managed to hurt him.
“Quickly clean this place up.” Johnny ordered and Doyoung knew better than to ask again.
Johnny had been in a particularly horrible mood and no one wanted to deal with him.
