Jean landed on the floor and started whimpering in so much pain.
” Jean” Elvis called, walking towards her slowly.
” Don’t Fuçking call my name. Even your voice adds to my d@mn pain!!!” She yelled and he stepped back.
” I’m sorry sis, I forgot my powers work hand in hand with my emotions” He said.
” I wish you forget you have a brain to use!!” She yelled and continued sobbing loudly.
He was about to go towards her when the door got opened and their mom walked in, holding the groceries pack.
” Elvis?” She looked at both of them confused
” Mom. Y..you’re back” He swallowed hard.
” What did you do to your sister?. Why is she on the floor?” She asked.
” My powers went out of control” He said guiltily and she gave him a long, strong glare.
She quickly walked towards Jean and held her to sit up slowly.
” Jean. Are you okay?”
” Elvis used his powers on me. He hurt me so much, I think I broke a bone this time” She said crying inbetween.
” Elvis?” She faced him.
” I didn’t mean to hurt her. I didn’t do it intentionally” He said innocently.
” Where are you hurt?” She returned to Jean.
” My hands, and…all over my body. Just take me to the clinic, please. The pain is suffocating” She cried.
Her mom stood up and faced Elvis, still putting on a glare.
” This is not the first, third or tenth time you’re using your powers on your sister, Elvis. You keep hurting her and I keep warning you about it!. What the heck is wrong with you!”
” I didn’t mean to use it on her. I usually loose control of my powers when I’m ridden with emotion”
” Then Füçking get an end to those emotions. If you keep hurting Jean, I’d make you homeless. I’ve been taking in all your nonsense for too long Elvis, I’m Füçking tired of you!!” She yelled and Elvis face fell.
” I’m sorry. I hope that’s enough” He said and picked his luggage, taking the stairs up to his room.
He got to his room and sat down on his bed, staring at his feet.
Tears fell out of his eyes and he cleaned it silently.
” I wish I could end this somehow. But the truth is how?. I h@të who I am. If i can’t behave like a human then why I’m I existing for christ sake!” He said.
He took off his uniform and wore in his nightie before opening up his closet.
He searched through it for no reason and for some reason, he found a diamond shaped ring.
He took out the ring in his closet and stared at it, his eyes glittering like its something precious.
” My Dad gave me this for a reason but He didn’t tell me it use” His subconscious mind said. ” I’ll just wear it and take wh@tëver happens to me”
He wore it on his index finger slowly but nothing happened.
He tried it on all four fingers in both hands but nothing occurred after.
” It’s should be useless” He said and threw it at the floor.
Immediately, a blinding bright light escaped from the ring and Elvis fell to the wall, covering a part of his face cos of how bright it was.
Something appeared at the end of the room and the blinding light died down as well.
He got startled at what he saw.
It was a woman, not just an ordinary woman, cos she was beautiful to the extreme.
Her skin was pure, silky and smooth like a goddess. He began to wonder if she was a falling angel
Even Her smile was unearthly, it able to cause men weak at their feet.
Elvis gaped at her and he started to examine her with his eyes.
” Who are you?”
” You summoned me. I guess you finally needed my help ” She said, her voice was angelic and yet, bold.
” You live in a ring?” He asked and she chuckled.
” I don’t live in a ring, Elvis. I come from the third earth, the same unearthly world you were from. I’m Lucy by name”
” Oh, strange. Are there other earth aside this?” He said.
” Oh of course. There are also the first and second earth. We’re in the the first earth as we speak, the second earth is not something we should talk about but you’ll need to know about it soon” She said with a soft grin.
” I still don’t know who are you and why you came out of that ring?”
” Well, it’s not just an ordinary ring, Elvis. This is a summoning ring and i was your dad’s messenger cos he was also a great Immortal. Don’t be scared, I can never harm you” She said.
” Oh” He finally stood up on his feet and heaved a heavy sigh. ” I just want to be a human. I don’t think I can handle being an Immortal anymore”
” You are not just an Immortal, Elvis. You are the choosen one. The most powerful Immortal that ever existed in history. Your legacy is above every other Immortal present on earth”
” What the heck???……”
” And that’s why you have multiple powers. You also need a messenger to guide you, that’s why I’m here, to look for one for you” She smiled.
” So what I’m I suppose to do?. I can’t even control the power I have. Please you need to help me, I don’t even know anything about being an Immortal” He pleaded.
” I can’t help you but I’ll show you who will” She said.
Suddenly, the ring began to scribble on the floor and the woman got swallowed up into the ring.
” Lucy?” He called and ran down to the ring.
” Hey Lucy!. Lucy!!.You can’t go now!. Geez, you haven’t even gave a solution to my problem!” He yelled and his door got opened.
Jean came in and scoffed, holding her waist.
” Who are you talking to?”
” Why were you eavesdropping” He said, glaring at her.
“I didn’t eavesdrop at you!”
” I felt your presence before you even climbed up the stairs to my room, jean” He snarled at her.
Jean smirked and stared at the ring. She picked it up and smiled at it.
” What’s this ring for?. You engaged to some spirit or what?” She scoffed,chuckling.
” That ring is very dangerous, jean. Give it back” He stretched his hands to collect it.
” Nop. I’m keeping it”
” I know you want me to use my power on you so I’ll be homeless but it’s not going to work”
” Then don’t come back for the ring if you don’t wanna fight me” She hissed and Elvis made her legs paralysed.
” Hey. What….What did you do to my feet. Why am I not moving!!” She yelled, struggling.
He went to her and collected his ring before letting go of her.
” Ouch!” She jumped, wincing in pain.
” Just get out!” He pushed her away before slamming the door, locking it in.
