“It__its Thalia, she’s been kidnapped” Michelle
said.

“What did you just say?” Thalia asked Cherry
who was grinning from ear to ear.
“Peter is the reason why Romeo is suffering
from a curse”
“B_but how ?”
“I don’t know the details either but what I do
know is that Peter have been the one helping
me to separate you and Romeo. He gave me the
switch spell and recently, he was the
mastermind behind the hotel incident. Peter is
not who you think he is, he’s the devil himself”
Cherry explained while a lot of thoughts ran
through Thalia’s head.
“Hurry on and go tell Romeo about it, he should
know that one of his close friend only wants his
downfall” Cherry muttered and Immediately,
Thalia began to run off.
Cherry lips curve into a triumphant smile as she
pulled out her phone.

Thalia got out of the taxi as soon as it stopped
in front of her hostel.
She immediately went to her room only to
interrupt Donald and Michelle who were both
making out before her entry.
“Oh! Am sorry” she apologise and a flushed
Michelle and Donald quickly pulled away from
each other.
“Don’t stop on my account. I only came to
change my clothe” Thalia added before hurrying
off to her room to change.
She got back to the sitting room to see Michelle
and Donald hovering anxiously in the sitting
room.
Walking towards Michelle, she gave her a hug
and sent a smile at Donald.
“Am happy for you both though am a little sad
that you didn’t tell me a thing, I will let you off
the hook for now since I know Daniella will be
more pissed at you for keeping it a secret. Like I
said, am happy for you and you both make a
lovely couple” she said putting their mind at
ease.
“Thalia I__”
“Later, you can tell me wh@tëver you have to say
later cause I have to see Romeo”
“Are you going to him to get him to change his
mind cause I heard you both broke up” Donald
said which earned him a glare from his
girlfriend.
“It’s true that we both broke up but am not going
there to convince him instead, I need to tell him
something about Peter”
“Peter?” Michelle and Donald echo at the same
time.
“Yes. I can’t tell you the full detail but all I can
say is that Peter isn’t who we think he is” she
said to them and picking her handbag, she
dashed out of the room forgetting her wallet.
Michelle noticed this and went after her, she got
outside only to see Thalia being forced into the
car by two unknown men.
“Who are you? Let her go!” Michelle yelled but
they pay no heed to her.
The car was driving off when Donald came
outside.
“What’s wrong?” He asked on seeing Michelle’s
agitated look.
“Thalia has been kidnap” Michelle said pointing
towards the car which was driving down the
streets.
“Call the police, Donald ” Michelle yelled and
immediately, he pulled out his phone to do that.
Michelle went back into the hostel to call
Romeo who didn’t pick up at first and when she
called him for the third time, He did pick the call.
“”It__its Thalia, she’s been kidnap”

<< PRESENT TIME ~ THALIA AND MICHELLE
HOSTEL >>
“What happen?” A breathless Romeo asked as
soon as he walk into the hostel.
They were two police officers there with
Michelle, Donald and Daniella who also came
with Jerry after hearing the news.
“She was on her way to see you but then those
men took her and__ am sorry, I couldn’t do a
thing to stop them” a sobbing Michelle said as
Donald comforted her.
“The police are refusing to do a thing since she
hasn’t been missing for twenty four hours” Jerry
muttered to Romeo who immediately turned to
the officers.
“For how long must she be missing for you to
do your work?” He snap at them.
“It’s a procedure we must follow, we can’t do
anything about it ” one of the officers replied.
“Now listen to me well, if something happens to
my girlfriend under this f^^king twenty hours, I
will haunt you both and make sure you regret
this for the rest of your life!” Romeo yelled.
“A threat made to a police officer could put you
in jail” the other officer told him
“I don’t f^^king care!” Romeo yelled just as Jerry
held him back.
“Let them go, I know a friend who can help us
track Thalia’s whereabout” Jerry muttered to
him then turning to the police.
” Thank you nice officers, he’s just a bit on edge
since it’s his girlfriend. We will wait twenty four
hours” Jerry said as he walk the officers out.
“Stop crying, we will find Thalia” Daniella said
as she went to join Michelle and Donald on the
couch.
“Did she perhaps__ tell you what she was
coming to see me for?” Romeo asked.
“She mentioned something about Peter” Donald
was the one who replied.
“She said he’s not the person we think him to
be” Donald added as Jerry came back into the
room.
“Have called my friend and he will be here soon
and__”
“Thalia’s whereabout won’t be the only thing he
track, he will also track down Peter” Romeo
said.
“Don’t tell me that you think he__” Jerry didn’t
get to finish when Romeo nodded in reply.
“I think he’s the one with Thalia”

Thalia woke up to an unfamiliar surrounding.
She was on a bed and her hand had been
chained to the head rest.
She remembered that she had been forcefully
taken by two men and the rest is a blank since
she blanked out after being drugged by them.
Thalia tried to pull out of the chain but it was to
no avail, she was still trying to free herself when
the door open, revealing Peter.
“You are finally awake, sweetie” Peter said
carrying a tray with food content in it.
“Why have you brought me here!” She yelled and
instead of replying, he sat down beside her.
“What do you think?”
“You and Cherry must have planned this right?
That was why she told me the truth”
“You are wrong. This time around cherry and I
didn’t plan this,I broke my deal with Cherry and
so she retaliated by telling you things about me.
She sent me a text to gloat about it and am
grateful for the text since it made me aware of
your next step”
“I knew you were going to see Romeo and hired
two men to bring you to me and the rest is
history” Peter said looking smug about it.
“You won’t get away with it. Am sure that
Romeo is looking for me and I know that he will
find me” she yelled at him.
“I don’t think so. When I brought you here, I
made sure no one could find you. So you are
stuck with me”
“This is madness! ” Thalia cried out in fear. “
Why on earth are you doing this? Romeo is your
friend and also am I “
“Friend? I don’t want you as my friend and as
for Romeo, I never saw him as a friend” he said
as he stood up to stand in front of the window.
“What happened between you and Romeo to
make you h@të him?” Thalia asked.
“Nothing really happened between us but it did
happen with our parents. My father was a
lawyer, an upright one at that. When he found
some dirt on Romeo’s father, he decided to
make it come to light but before that could
happen, Romeo father had him killed and made
it look like an accident”
“My mother was in so much grieve and since I
was a little boy, I could do nothing to console
her. We thought if we left the city to start afresh
everything will work out but then Romeo father
decided to kill us too. We luckily escape the
killers and went into hiding “
“By then my mother was filled with rage. Since
she couldn’t kill Romeo’s father, she decided to
use the only thing she could think of__ sorcery”
he said this as he faced her.
“My mother’s family came from strong sorcerers
and so she used her powers to cast a spell on
Romeo’s father along with his offspring”
“A curse which is for them to die at a young
age” Thalia supplied.
“You are very well informed, no doubt Romeo
has told you about it” Peter said.
“Romeo isn’t the one at fault, his father is. Your
mom should have taken out her revenge on
him”
“Like I said, my mother was filled with rage and
there’s nothing I can do about it now since she’s
dead. So, there’s no way to break the curse “
“That’s a lie, I know you can do something
about it. If you could prepare a soul potion for
Cherry then you can undo the spell” Thalia
yelled at him.
“You are right, I can undo the spell but I won’t.
Romeo will die and that will end his family tree”
Peter said looking very evil.
“Before coming to you, I was casting a spell. Not
a love spell but a death spell,am sure you know
who it’s for”
“Must you really go far!” Thalia scream only for
him to grip her tightly by the jaw forcing her to
look up at him.
“Romeo has got to die if I intend for you to be
mine”
“You are meant to be my girl but that good for
nothing Romeo stole your love from me which
is why I plan on killing him before the curse
takes his life”
“Don’t do it Peter, I beg you” Thalia said when he
let go of her jaw.
“Am sorry love but have made up my mind “
“Doing this won’t make me love you, it will only
make me h@të you more”
“Don’t worry, am willing to live with your hatred
as long as you are mine”
“You are crazy, Let me out of here!” She yelled at
him.
“Never, I already told you that you are stuck here
with me” he said and gently bit her ear.
“You are mine to do wh@tëver I want with” he
added before trailing kisses down her neck.
“We belong to each other body and soul” he
whispered and tried to kiss her but Thalia kept
dodging him till he lost his patience and slap
her hard on the face.
The slap got her falling back on the bed and
Peter didn’t waste time to climb over her trailing
kisses down her neck line.
Her scream filled the air but he shut her up by
claiming her lips while his hands drifted all over
her body.
“You have no idea how long have waited for
this” he muttered in between kisses.
“Let go of me!” Thalia choked out in tears but
Peter was far from listening.
The knock on the door got him getting off of
her.
“What the hell is wrong?” Peter yelled at the
guard who interrupted them.
“The police are on their way, we’ve got to leave “
On hearing that, Peter let out a curse word
before going to Thalia to release her from the
handcuff.
He pulled her out of the house and they were
descending the stairs when three police cars
stop in front of the house.
“Sh|t” Peter muttered and made to go back into
the house when someone fired a gun.
“If you know what’s good for you, I suggest you
stop right where you are” The officer in charge
said.
The guard with him click his gun and was about
to shoot when one of the police officers gun
him down.
Seeing this, Peter pulled Thalia to him, placing a
pocket knife against her throat.
“Come close to me and I will slit her throat” he
threatened shakily.
“And what will you gain by doing that?” Romeo
asked earning both Peter and Thalia attention.
“I get to see you in pain” Peter replied.
“Judging from your word, I can tell that it’s me
you are after and so let Thalia go”
“Never! If am going to die then Thalia will die
with me ” he said pushing the knife deep in her
throat.
“Put down your weapon and surrender” the
officers warned but Peter was no longer
listening.
Immediately, one of the officer fired their gun,
aiming for his leg.
He quickly let go of Thalia to clutch to his
bleeding leg.
Thalia went into Romeo’s arm while the police
seize Peter.
He was groaning in pain as they pulled him to
the car but he stopped to stare at Romeo and
Thalia.
“It’s over, just give up already ” Romeo said to
Peter who gave a smirk in return.
“It’s far from being over, buddy” Peter replied
and immediately he said that, Romeo knelt on
the floor holding onto his chest while finding it
hard to breathe.
Thalia’s scream and Peter laughter was the last
thing he heard before losing conciousness.
