“What…the…heck?!” Tempest stood up immediately with wide eyes,turning like a robot to look at Avalon who stood still on that same spot,smirking.

She’s very happy that it is Tempest the ice hit.
It is because of him her hand is malfunctioning after all.
So,she’s happy about it and she would have been more happy if it hit Emma too.
“Are you high on ice water or you are planning to?
Don’t you know how to control your stupìd powers anymore?
Oh,I get it. You f*cking did that on purpose!” Tempest yelled out loud,making others who weren’t aware of what was going on yet to immediately turn to his direction with little curved brows.
Avalon scoffed and rolled eyes at him instead,which definitely wasn’t what Tempest or even the others expected her to do.
“Sh|t! Here we go again. Can’t fire and ice be friends for a minute at least?
Eyes of our ancestors,what’s going to happen right now?” Rickett turned to Calix and asked sillily with a shrug.
“Just watch and see what is going to happen.
And stop calling me that name,else you will sit and watch how you eat your own poop” Calix shot a glare at him with a threat,but Rickett chuckled,not bothered about the Sh|t he just said.
After that,they both returned their gazes to Tempest and Avalon.
“It was a mistake,okay? Stop making a fuss about nothing” Avalon rudely said with another eye roll.
“A mistake? Why did your silly mistake not hit anyone else but me? And here you are,still being arrogant and rude instead of apologizing” Tempest glared with his eyes that were slowly changing their color to that of fire.
“Apologize? For what exactly?
You are the reason for my malfunctioning arm in the first place,so why the hell should I apologize?
That served you right anyway,so deal with it!” Avalon hissed and most of them gasped with their eyes a bit wide.
“Such a mean and arrogant girl” Rickett said again,unbelievably shaking his head.
“I’ve never liked her since yesterday that I realized she’s one of us and I don’t think I will ever like her” Ioanna said too with a scoff.
“I like her because she’s making this place fun!” Illekktra clasped her hands excitedly.
“How can you be so happy watching others fight?” Bluey scoffed at Illekktra,slapping her hand off her shoulder that she was resting it on.
“Yeah. Call me crazy” Illekktra replied,giving Ioanna and Bluey no single glance as all her attention was on the fight that she thinks will definitely happen.
“Just say you are sorry,Avalon. It will cause you no harm” Astrid tried to tell her,but she shot her a glare immediately and she went mute.
“Apologize….” Tempest said calmly,trying his best not to activate his anger button,because it won’t be funny this time.
This girl is intentionally pushing him to the brink,and it’s not cool.
“I will apologize to you only when you apologize first for hurting my arm” Avalon replied blankly,and resumed what she was doing.
“Just apologize already,jeez!” Emma was the one who said this time,she didn’t realize what she said,until Avalon turned to her immediately on hearing that.
“Oh,look who is talking….a dumb Mortal girl whom no one knows why she’s here” Avalon chuckled tauntingly and walked closer to where Emma was.
“You shouldn’t talk when we,the Immortals are talking.
The fact that you survived Circe’s poison,does not make you special.
You better go back to your world where you belong,before you dìe miserably here like a chi….
“Enough! Why are you such a bitter soul?
What has Emma done to you if I may ask?!
I will not keep standing here and watch you taunt her like that,understood?!” Illekktra yelled at Avalon seriously. She was so close to her face as if to bite that mouth she uses to talk to people in such manner.
“So you want to beat me?” Avalon laughed in a mocking way.
“I won’t hesitate to grant your wish right here and right now if that’s what you want” Illekktra retorted with a glare.
“You are as dumb as your Mortal friend” Avalon insulted without a blink. She folded her arms across her chest and was busy staring at Illekktra,waiting for what she’d do.
“Woo..woo…woo! This is becoming too much” Some students began to murmur amongst themselves.
“Do…not…push me,or else!” Illekktra warned with gritted teeth.
“Or else what? Call the rain on….
The rest of her words remained unsaid,as she was immediately struck by thunder,making her stagger hard.
“Ahhh!” Avalon screamed when Illekktra hit her hard with her electric hand,which shocked the brought daylight out of her(Avalon).
Everyone bursted into a loud laugh when her hair stood up like spikes,due to the electric shock she got.
“You fòol!” Avalon barked and fired ice at Illekktra immediately.
The ice didn’t get to Illekktra because Tempest was quick to hit it away with his fire.
She fired another one at her again which did hit her painfully this time. Though,Illekktra sent her lightning to her too,and it got her real good,shocking her again.
The crowd went wild again in laughter.
Astrid quickly came and pulled Avalon away from there,though she was struggling hard,not wanting to leave because she wanted to fight more.
“Get ready for me,because I will pay you back!” Avalon threatened as Astrid kept pulling her along with her.

Emma can be seen walking slowly and aimlessly.
She already has walked a bit far away from where the training ground is,and she finally found a place to sit down.
She literally left there the moment Illekktra started trying to defend her.
She had had enough,so she just had to leave the crowd.
Avalon was right,she’s just a Mortal girl whom no one knows why she’s here.
Just when she was starting to feel like one of them and Avalon had to remind her that she doesn’t belong here.
She’s just tired of this whole Sh|t.
She doesn’t even know who she is anymore: A mortal or an immortal.
If she’s truly mortal,why then can she read minds,and why does she have the power of immunity?
Then again,if she’s immortal,why hasn’t she found her real powers,or is it just to read minds?
Is that what she’ll be using to fight like others?
It may have not been long enough that she came here,but she can’t continue staying here when she’s got no power to defend herself.
What would have happened if she had no one to defend her?
“This is just too crazy and hectic. I am tired of thinking my brains out! Who the hell am I?”
“Why does that girl h@të me so much?” Emma paused and asked herself, as she can’t remember ever doing anything to Avalon to make her despise her like that.
Or is it because she’s not an immortal like her?
She’s just so bitter towards everyone,not just her alone. But the hatred she has for her is way too much.
It’s as if she has wronged her before,or something.
She was still thinking about Avalon when her mind suddenly went to her parents who of course she knows will be worried about her.
“I need to talk to Master Shirlene. I don’t even have any clothes to change into,jeez!
She only gave me a tooth brush and forgot I have to change my clothes too,who the hell does that?!
I am f*king tired of all these” She muttered,and roughened her hair a little bit in frustration.

“What?!!” Megan exclaimed when she saw that Emma’s clothes were gone,not even one was left inside the wardrobe.
Her eyes widened more and more,as she stared and couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
So,it’s true that Emma ran away from home?
Why would she ever do a thing like that?
Megan began to question herself seriously,but getting no answers.
Emma can’t do this! This is unlike her daughter.
Wait,even if she did,how was she able to do this without them knowing?
Because they’ve been home since yesterday,and couldn’t go to work because of their daughter’s missing case.
Could she have jumped over the window?
This is a storey building for Pete’s sake.
How was she able to jump off it?
Like a crazy person,she rushed to the window to check if she’d see any evidence that she truly jumped through the window,but she found none.
Everything at the window was just the way it has always been. No evidence at all!
“I am not doing this,hell no! Why does this feel like a dream?
Why the hell does it feel like I am dreaming?!
Richard!!” She called her husband insanely,as she was seen dashing out of Emma’s room crazily.

“I am still very much shocked at how she survived that poison. This is really mysterious.
I mean,we all know what Circe’s poison does even to the immortals. But nothing happened to her,absolutely nothing” Master Zack said,more like a chuckle,because he was happy about Emma’s immunity to Circe’s poison.
The four Masters are actually having a meeting,talking about many things,especially about Emma.
Master Zack is right though,her poison affects even the Immortals,although it’s minor and it doesn’t do much harm to them.
But on humans? It kills almost immediately.
How Emma is up and strong is what they are still baffled at,and can’t figure out who she really is.
“Do you all remember the Book Of Mysteries and what it said?” Master Shirlene questioned,a smile not leaving her face at all.
“Of course we do,but what exactly are you trying to say?
Do you really think she’s the one?” Master Aerith asked with a confused look on her face.
“I wouldn’t say yes,and neither would I say no.
I am just as confused as everyone is.
She would have shown herself for sure,if she was the one.
But then,we are already seeing the signs” Master Shirlene said,totally confused too.
“I’ve never been this confused since my whole life of being a Master. Who in the Isles is she?” Master Levi said,making Master Zack to chuckle with a head shake.

“I’m sorry about what happened back there” Tempest apologized immediately he met Emma through the hallway,as they were both heading to their rooms.
“No,it’s fine. You don’t have to apologize for anything,it wasn’t your fault anyway” Emma replied,taking slow steps,likewise Tempest.
“Of course it was my fault. It was because of me she said those unkind words to you.
And I am sorry for that,don’t let her get to you,okay? She’s just a sadist” He smiled a little and said,whilst stylishly staring at her cute face and beautiful eyes.
“Yeah,thanks. And thanks for fighting for me too” Emma smiled,but seriously avoiding his gaze.
Tempest gave a little frown,wondering how she got to know about that.
Wasn’t she frozen all through their fight?
“How did you know about that? You were frozen,if I can remember clearly” He said playfully with a chuckle.
“Uhm,yeah I was. But I was told what you did” Emma replied,shaking her head a little in an amusing way.
“Oh,you caught me then.
I am Tempest,by the way. I guess you know my name already,but I am making a proper introduction now.
Nice to have you here” Tempest smiled again.
“I’m Emma. Nice meeting you,Tempest” Emma smiled too,and tucked her hair behind her ear.
“Friends?” Tempest asked,offering her a hand shake.
“Friends I guess” Emma replied and he chuckled.
“Do not guess because we are friends already,whether or not you agree” Tempest replied her,and she laughed shortly.
“Is that a threat or a request?” Emma curved her brows funnily,and that got Tempest chuckling again.
“Whichever one you choose” He replied.
Emma giggled,then they began walking again.
They had stopped for a moment to talk.
“See you later,we’ll be having some workout soon,I think. Since the training didn’t go well” He said,and Emma nodded before they both left for their rooms.

“Hey…Emma! I was just about to come look for you” Illekktra ecstatically said the moment Emma walked into the room.
Illekktra was altready putting on her shoe to go find her for real.
“Where were you? You just left the training ground without anyone seeing you” She said.
Emma sighed and plopped on the bed like one who has been wworking all morning.
“I went to get some peace,Illekktra. I am frustrated” Emma said with a little grunt.
“Aww…is it about what that lunatic said?
You better don’t let her get to you…anyway,I taught her a little lesson” Illekktra chuckled,remembering how her thunder struck Avalon,how crazy and funny her hair stood ,and how everyone was laughing at her when she shocked her really good.
“What did you do?” Emma sat up and curved her brows,impatiently waiting for an answer.
“Nothing serious,actually. I just did this!” Illekktra said with demonstration,showing Emma her electric power which made Emma jump.
“Are you crazy?” Emma almost laughed.
“Yeah,call me crazy” Illekktra replied and they both laughed out heartily.
“Thanks for being so nice to me. You,Bluey and Ioanna” Emma smiled.
Illekktra hugged her immediately before she knew it.
She smiled and hugged her back warmly.
A warm hug,that’s exactly what Emma needed.
They stayed that way for close to a minute before pulling away.
“I don’t know your purpose of being here,Emma. But I hope you find out soon,and I can’t wait for that day” Illekktra said.
Emma smiled and hugged her again shortly and broke from it.
Then slowly,she stood up and went to her own side of the wardrope,imagining it to be the one in her house,where her beautiful clothes and shoes occupy.
She opened it and to her greatest surprise and shock,the wardrobe was filled with her clothes, shoes,and her headphoens. In fact,every darn thing she has,was neatly and beautifully arranged and kept in the wardrobe.
“Ahhhhh!!” She screamed in both shock and excitement,jumping and stamping her feet.
Illekktra got up immediately and widened her eyes when she saw why Emma screamed like that.
“Whoa! This is Master Shirlene’s doing,no doubts” She said and Emma giggled,nodding her head like a kid.
“I know,right? It’s crazy!” Emma said and they both laughed out.
•√•√•√TEMPEST & ALCAEUS’S ROOM•√•√•√
“Do you like her?” Alcaeus asked Tempest who just walked out of the restroom.
“Like who?” Tempest shook his head with a shrug.
“The mortal girl” Alcaeus replied sharply.
“She has a name,yunno. Why are most of you calling her “the mortal girl?” Tempest rolled eyes at him.
“Well,I do not know her name. What do you want me to do?” Alcaeus shrugged,moving his eyes funnily.
“Those who ask questions, always find their ways to the right paths,you could just ask for her name” Tempest defensively said and that got Alcaeus laughing.
“So,what’s this all about? Never knew you were a Master of great words,forgive me” Alcaeus said,and gave a funny bow.
Tempest chuckled,though rolled eyes at him again,sitting down on his bed.
“You still haven’t answered my question,yunno” Alcaeus said and he scoffed.
“Remember when I asked if you bug a lot?
And you said you don’t,then you asked if I’ll roast you when you eventually do?” Tempest asked with a smirk,staring at him seriously to see his reaction.
Alcaeus bursted into a loud laugh instead,laughing his intestines out.
“You want to roast me? You think you’re going to escape my question with that threat?” Alcaeus asked with a chuckle.
“Is it bãd if I like? Yes,I like her. Are you going to beàt me?” Tempest asked back,lying heavily on the bed.
“Whoa! Just within…you are crazy,seriously” Alcaeus laughed shortly,while Tempest only rolled eyes and chuckled.
“But what’s with you and Avalon always on each other’s neck?” Alcaeus asked,lying on his bed too.
Everyone actually has his or her own bed.
“I don’t know,go ask the lunatic,she can explain better” Tempest sighed.
Alcaeus sighed too,and the room went silent afterwards.

All the students have changed into something else that is fit enough for a workout.
Just like Tempest told Emma earlier that they’ll be doing some excercise later.
Yeah,it’s time already and everyone is heading there right now.
Emma and friends too can be seen walking, talking and giggling when necessary.
“Can’t believe Master Shirlene brought your clothes and every other thing here for you.
Like how did she do that?” Ioanna asked,chuckling.
“Don’t forget she’s a Master,the grandmaster and most powerful among them.
Have you forgotten what Emma told us about how she got here?
Do not take that Master for granted” Illekktra funnily said and they laughed out.
“But she seems to know you so well.
I know the question I am about to ask is silly,but do you perhaps know each other before?” Bluey threw her hands, questioningly.
“No,but I think I’ve had series of dreams where I saw her and…gosh! I reall can’t remember and I’ve never understood any of those dreams” Emm replied with a sigh.
They all went quiet for a moment like they were compelled to.
Meanwhile,Avalon and Astrid were walking behind them.
Avalon was glaring so much at them,especially at Illekktra who humiliated her earlier today,which she promised to pay her back and she’s definitely going to do that right now.
She’s just waiting for them to get close to where everyone is,so they can laugh at her too.
“What are you going to do to her?” Astrid asked,raising her shoulders.
“I am going to freeze her with ice,then tumble and make her roll over and over like a dumb barrel. And I’ll only unfreeze her when I feel like” Avalon smirked,watching them closely.
“That’s too mean,but go ahead and do it” Astrid laughed.
Avalon smirked,still watching them until they finally reached there,and she immediately stretched her arm forward,then opened her palm and sent the ice to Illekktra who was clueless of what was about to happen to her.
“Watch out!” Emma’s voice was heard,as she shockingly felt the danger that was coming.
She pushed Illekktra aside,and got iced instead.
But what shocked everyone to the core,including Emma too and even Avalon herself,because no one can undo her icing or the other.
Avalon almost lost her balance when the ice broke just seconds after Emma was iced.
Everyone’s eyes almost popped out of their sockets,and….
