★ MISSING YOU ★
Axel who was oblivious of a presence gawking at his appearance, sat there, waiting to know the model he’ll be shooting with.
“Oh Sierra, you’re here” the Director smiled when his eyes landed on Sierra in the room
Sierra smiled and then cat walked towards them, her gaze lingering on Axel’s.
Axel turned his head and watched as she came closer to them. She was beautiful, he must admit but not as beautiful as his own Mel.
At the mention of her name, a light smile escaped his lips. He was missing her badly and he couldn’t wait to get home just to see her.
“Are you here with us?” The Director’s voice jolted him back to reality.
Sierra chuckled and tucked her hair to the back. His eyes were on her and she needed no one to tell her that he was bewitched by her beauty.
“Yeah sorry. I zoned out for a while,” Axel muttered.
Sierra sat down and glanced at him. She stretched a palm towards him.
“Hi, I’m Sierra,” she introduced with a smile.
“Axel,” Axel muttered and shook her hand briefly.
“I’m glad you both met coincidentally. Sierra, he’s a new model in this agency, and you both will be shooting together. I mean, his first shoot,” the Director explained.
Sierra glanced at Axel.
“It’ll be nice working with you,” she smiled.
Axel nodded.
“So, how do we go about it?” He stared at the Director.

MONASH UNIVERSITY***
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Lauren asked Melanie as they walked out of the school. They were heading to the bus station.
“Yea,” Melanie breathed out.
Lauren stopped walking and stared at Melanie sadly.
“Why do I feel like you’re slowly distancing yourself from me?” She asked slowly.
Melanie stopped walking too and turned to her.
“Why would I?” She smiled.
“Lanie, is there something that you aren’t telling me?” Lauren asked, holding her by the arm.
“There isn’t, I’m just tired” Melanie muttered and started walking.
Lauren raised a brow, she lifted her hand and was about to touch Melanie’s forehead when a car suddenly stopped just beside them.
The glass winded down and Ace’s face came into view. He flashed a smile at the girls.
“Care for a drive?” He asked.
“No, thanks” Melanie walked away.
“Füçk off,” Lauren mouthed to him and ran after Melanie.
Ace didn’t back off, he started driving slowly behind them.
“I mean no harm, Melanie. I just want to give you a drive, that’s all” he kept saying.
Melanie ignored him till she got to the bus station. Luckily for her, the bus came right in time and she entered with Lauren, leaving Ace speechless where he was.
Ace sighed and winded up his glass.
“She’s really different from the Melanie I know,” he mumbled to himself
“She isn’t that soft girl anymore,” he added.

“It seems he ain’t stopping at any time,” Lauren said to Melanie whose head was resting on the window
“What do you intend to do?” She asked.
“I don’t even know, I just want him far away from me,” Melanie muttered.
Lauren smiled in understanding and raised her hand, she patted Melanie’s hair gently.
“I understand you Lanie, but don’t forget you ain’t alone, okay? You have me and…. Julie,” she completed.
Melanie smiled and stared at her, she placed her head on Lauren’s shoulder.
“Thank you,” she whispered.

HOURS LATER***
Axel stopped his car just when he got to the house. He alighted from it and locked it before entering the gate.
As he inched closer to the door, he felt his heart beating fast in anxiousness. He couldn’t wait to set his eyes on Melanie again.
He opened the door and the smile on his face disappeared immediately he saw the scene in front of him.
“What are you doing?” He questioned, staring at Melanie who had bags around her.
Melanie froze on the spot, her eyes staring deeply at him. Why’s he just coming now?
“Where are you going? What’s with the bags?” Axel questioned again as he walked to her.
“Erm…. Mom wants me back home, she…”
“You’re moving out?” Axel asked with his breath in his throat.
“Yes,”
That time, Axel felt his whole world crumbling into pieces. She was leaving, like he won’t see her in the house anymore?
“Why?” He managed to let out a whisper.
“Mom wants me back home. She found out about me and Paisley and she wants me back immediately,” Melanie explained, avoiding his eyes.
“And you want to leave without telling me? If I hadn’t returned on time, you would have left, leaving my heart shattered”
“What am I even saying? You already shattered my heart,” Axel shook his head, biting his lips hurting.
“I’m sorry,” Melanie mumbled.
“Can’t believe I just got my heart broken,” Axel muttered. His voice was torn, and he was trying hard to control his emotions.
“You should leave,” he muttered and walked past her.
“Axel,” Melanie called but he didn’t respond.
Melanie sighed and blinked her eyes rapidly. Her hand held the traveling bag in her hand tightly and she took her steps to the door.
Just as her hand made contact with the doorknob, a hand suddenly pulled her to a hard chest, chest colliding together and lips smashing on hers.
Melanie’s hand slipped off from the traveling bag and it fell to the ground. Her hands went to his neck as they kissed each other hard.
