Lauren looked at Ethan and back at Katherine.
“Can I meet Katherine’s father?”
She suddenly asked.
“Why do you want to meet Katherine’s father? Is something wrong?
Ethan asked back.
Lauren sighed and realized it was stupid to say that.
” Never mind, let’s go”
She started the car and drove off.
“Mom?.
Ethan calked.
“So what do you want?
Lauren asked knowing he wanted something which was the reason he refused to talk to her.
“I want Dad back”
“Dad left us, Ethan…
He is not coming back”
“And that’s because you did something that made him leave.

Lauren took a glance look at him.
“When did you start giving me advice? What does a five-year-old kid know about relationships?”

Ellie took a stop at the supermarket before she drove home. She walked in and smiled at the salesman.
“Welcome, Miss Ellie…
I haven’t seen you this week”
The salesman said.
“Have been tied up with busy schedules”
Ellie smiled and took a shopping basket.
“I can see that, thank you for patronizing us again”
He replied.
Ellie took some rounds around the supermarket as she picked all that she needed in the kitchen and put them in the basket.
“Yeah, I will need some drinks for my empty fridge”
She thought and walked to the drink section. She picks all her favorite brands of wines, soda, and bottled waters making her basket full.
Another sales attendant saw her and noticed she needed an extra one. She quickly walked away to get one. She came back and handed it over to Ellie.
“Thanks”
Ellie appreciates.
“You’re welcome”
She said and walked away.
Ellie resumes her shopping.
She decides to get her favorite ice cream cup. She quickly walked to a section and saw different types of ice cream flavors. She saw her favorite one, strawberry. There was only one remaining.
How Lucky she is… She smiled and wanted to take it but a hand dragged her back.
“Hey…
She said and was surprised to see Lucy.
“What are you doing?
Ellie asked.
“That ice cream is mine”
Lucy said.
“Which one are you talking about?
“The strawberry flavor”
“Oh please… I saw it first and that’s my favorite flavor.
You can take others, look, there are vanilla, lemon, chocolate, apple mix, and so on
Take one from there”.
“Strawberry is my favorite flavor and there is only one remaining”
Lucy replied.
“But I got here before you and I wanted to take it first”
Ellie said and quickly grabbed it off the shelf.
“Hey, hand that over”
Lucy said.
“No, unless you are ready to pay me for it. It’s just $2.75
So if you want to have it, you will pay double, $5 ”
“You are a bad Bîtch…
Lucy snared smacking her lips.
“You know am going to have that, if I want to
I can’t just pay $5 for that, I can pay double for that same flavor”
“You must be joking… There is no how you are going to take this from me”
She said and opened the cup’s lid ready to dip the little spoon and start licking.
Lucy rushed to her and grabbed the ice cream cup, roughing out Ellie’s hair.
Ellie became angry and grabbed her ice cream back. Lucy grabbed it back also making some of it content to splash on the ground.
“Give it to me”
Lucy shouted.
“I took it first”
“No, I saw it first”
They began to drag the cup between themselves like a kid.
This time around, they already grab the attention of everyone in the supermarket.
Some moms cover the eyes of their children so as not to witness this embarrassing adult fight.
Suddenly, the cup fell from their hands mistakenly and hit the ground.
All its content was scattered on the floor. They both look at the ground and back at each other.
“Look what you caused”
Lucy said.
“No, you caused this”
Ellie replied and noticed Lucy walking to her. She grabs her long hair and pulls it.
Ellie also wasted no time, she grabbed her hair. They began to pull each other hair.
A man who saw things might escalate into something else quickly walked to them to separate them.
“Ellie and Lucy, please can you both stop fighting?”
He said trying to separate them… but instead, he received his own taste of the fight medicine for interfering in a lady’s fight.
Lucy unintentionally sends some elbow blow to the man’s jaw as they drag each other’s hair.
The man’s mouth was bleeding. Everyone gasped. The man quickly rushed to the restroom to clean himself up.
A Little kid laughed as she watched the fight. That was when the kid’s parents noticed her hands had fallen off from her kid’s face.
She quickly covered her child’s face.
Some people began to take videos and pictures.
~Thirty minutes later ~
Ellie looks like a lost pig. Her hair was rough and scattered. Lucy stands some meters away from her. She looked beaten up with her swollen face.
The policeman folds his arms and stares at the two of them. The salesman also stands beside him.
The cop faces the salesman.
“And you allow this to happen right in your supermarket?”
“Am sorry about this sir… There is no way we can interfere in this fight. A man recently received a blow in the jaw for interfering”
The salesman said and a man in the crowd raised his hand with a swollen cheek.
The cop faces the two ladies.
“Did you guys do this to that man?”
“Yes, but unintentionally”
Ellie replied.
Another cop walked in.
“Have cleared them out, so have these ladies confess what caused their fight?”
He asked.
“Yes, they were fighting over an ice cream of $2.75″
The first policeman replied.
Luckily, the man that got injured during their fight isn’t pressing charges”
Ellie thought for a while.
“How does the man who was trying to separate us know our names?
She wondered but later shrugged it off.
“Alright…
You two are going to come with us”
The other cop said and walked to them, before placing handcuffs on both of them.
“See you in Court, Bîtch”
Lucy said to Ellie.
“See you also in court, motherf*cker”
Ellie replied.

Harry got to his doorway and saw some packaged meal in front of his door.
“Oh gosh, not again…
He smiled and took the note on the meal set.

A knock came on the door.

Can I come inside?”

Jemmy sat down and noticed the set of foods on the table.

“So you think I can’t prepare this myself?
“I didn’t say that, I was just wondering how you prepare this with the little time frame”

I just came in a few minutes ago before you knocked on my door”

Mr George and his family are going to get their respective punishment one day”
