Lauren stares sadly at Ethan Baker’s grave.
“Mom, what are you doing over there?
Her son shouted from the vehicle.

Lauren replied and placed some flowers on the grave. She knelt and sighed.

Lauren opened the door and was surprised to see Alex again.

Alex replied and walked in. Ethan was having breakfast on the dining table with a headset across his head.
He was enjoying his music as he ate when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
He looked sideways and saw Alex.

Ethan stood up and hugged Alex. Alex smile.
“It’s only my son that loves me in this house”
Alex said.
Lauren folded her arms.
“He is not your son”
She scoffs and walked to them.
“Are you okay?

Ethan said and showed him a healing wound on his bare chest almost turning into a scar.

Alex was surprised.

For days, we didn’t see you, you didn’t visit to check up on him even when he needed a blood donor, and you weren’t there till he was discharged.

He walked into the kitchen and was surprised to see Beth and Jemmy cooking together.

Jemmy and Beth looked back at him.

Did you sleep well?

Why are you two cooking? The aroma has almost had my nose destroyed”

A White range Rover vehicle entered into the compound and a middle-aged man dressed in all white came out of the vehicle.

Someone rushed to him and bowed a little. He wore a white suit also and a white shoe to match and it seems like he is his house manager.
“Where is he?
Mr baker asked.
“He is not inside, he requested a stroll outside the compound. He has been indoors for years now and he wanted fresh air”
The house manager replied.

He asked as his driver who was also dressed in white came and handed the car keys over.
He collected it and the driver walked inside the house building.
“Am sorry, Mr baker but I make sure the men followed him
I know he is not safe out there, and it is my responsibility for me to keep him safe”
He replied and Mr baker sighed and walked inside. The driver came out a little while later.
“Hey, why did you let him leave the compound? You do what he wants these days?”
The driver asked.
“I can’t reject his wants, he offered me money and I couldn’t help it”
The house manager replied.
“Sometimes, he had to go see his son after his son’s accident, he couldn’t help it”

The driver replied and walked inside. The house manager just smiled.
