Mariano stood shocked for a moment as he looked around to see where the gunshot came from. He saw figures from afar but he couldn’t see their faces since it was dark.
He looked down at the bleeding lady in his arms; “ Hey.. fluffy äss” He called but he got no reply.
” Are you dead?” He asked again still, silence followed.
He sighed and carried her in a bridal style into the car. He placed her in the backseat before going to get the driver’s seat.
He looked around again and this time, he saw no one. He looked at her from his rearview mirror and contemplated whether to take her back to the club or not.
A mischievous smile appeared on his face when a thought popped up in his head.
” If I save her, I might get what I want without stress” He smirked evilly as he ignited his car and headed to his mansion.

Mariano carried Menodora hastily into the house, heading to his room at once. He placed her on his bed, not minding her bloody body.
His white shirt was stained too.
He took his phone and dialed Doctor Grey’s number. It rang for the third time before he picked up.
? Where the hell did you keep your d@mn phone? He shouted as soon as Dr. Grey picked up.

? Come to the house in less than three minutes with your surgical instruments” He ended the call and stared at Menodora on his bed.
” I’m not nice but I need to do this cos I’m seriously gonna f*ck you immediately you wake up” He muttered, staring at her face.
She wasn’t only beautiful, she looked very innocent that he was left wondering why anyone would be after her life.
He exhaled shortly and the door to his room cracked open. Dr. Grey’s eyes widened on seeing the unconscious lady.
” What happened to her, Sir Mariano?”
“Just save her. There’s a bullet in her back but it’s not too deep and it’s not severe too. Make sure she’s fine” He said.
Yes, that’s one thing about him, he could tell one’s condition just at a glance.
Dr. Grey bowed his head and walk over to Menodora while Mariano stood next to him, watching him do his job.
” She lost too much blood already and she’ll be needing a donor ” Dr. Grey looked at him.
“I’m O negative, and I’m very healthy, so you can take as plenty as you want okay? It’s a must you save her” Mariano said and Dr. Grey nodded.
He collected Mariano’s blood sample and started with the transfusion.
After a while, he successfully removed the bullet and exhaled deeply.
” How’s she??”Mariano asked immediately.

∆∆ NEXT DAY ~ UNKNOWN LOCATION°
” How the Füçk could you be so careless huh?!” Santario yelled and the boys bent their heads.
” I’m sure she’ll not make it cos I shot her,” One of the guys said.
Santario approached him and punched his face, leaving him with a broken nose.
” Confirm if she’s truly dead… I’m sure Frida would hold a burial soon” Santario muttered.
” I think she left home boss”
” Why would Frida make her leave?” Santario asked back and the guy kept mute.
” The guy who helped her earlier, did you see his face?”
” We didn’t, boss cos we were trying to hide but I got a glimpse of his plate number, so I think I’ll be able to track him down”
“Good, and if the girl happens to be with him, don’t hesitate to kill him and everyone under his roof.. but for now, stay low until I give you orders to execute the plan” Santario said.
The boys nodded their heads while Santario left the place.

Steve opened his eyes slightly, trying to adjust to the sunlight entering his room. He opened his eyes and after realizing he was in his room, he left the bed.
He took his phone and dialed Dorian’s number.
She picked up at the first ring.
? Did you trace her?” She asked but he kept mute.
? I guess it didn’t go as planned” she added.
? The footage was contaminated” Steve said.
? It’s fine, let’s just hope for the best. I also had to quit my job since she’s no more at the club” Dorian sighed.

? Well, keep trying and if you see anything, please let me know” She said and Steve nodded before ending the call.
He tossed his phone away and made to walk out of his room when his mom entered.
” OMG!” She exclaimed, pulling him into a hug.
” You’re suffocating me” He pulled away.
” Does it hurt anywhere?” His mom asked, checking him out.
He smiled and held her face in his hands.
” I’m fine Mom….and again, I’m not a kid okay? I’m 23 and I’m very fine now. Just hungry” He said.
She hugged him briefly.
” Come, I made your favorite” She said, taking him to the sitting room.

Frida sat on her bed, her hands crossed under her B@@bs. At first glance, one would know she was restless.
Her business was slowly going down the drain and it was making her mad.

“Why would I worry about her when I have other things to think about? The club is going down already and I’m scared. I still can’t get a hold of my sister’s property which was one of the reasons I kept Dora. I should have stopped her from leaving ”
“I think she’s missing. Steve and Dorian came here last night looking for her, but you don’t have to worry too much” She hugged her mom.
“She has nowhere to go.. so definitely, she’ll come back” Gladys broke the hug.
“And for the club, Should I replace her?” She asked.
“No, never!!” Frida yelled which made her flinch.
“I was kidding” She rolled her eyes and left angrily.
” Not as if I can’t do the job” She muttered as she left.

Mariano raised his head from the bed, he’s been watching over a total stranger since the previous night and didn’t know when he fell asleep.

Bijoux sighed.
“What if I join you guys?” Someone asked from behind and they all turn to see who it was.
” Gladys??”
” Y’all must be Surprised, but it must be a secret. I really want Dora to know this club can boom without her and that good for nothing Dorian” Gladys said.
“Dorian? Good for nothing? Well, you’re wrong. She was the baddest Bîtch among us. The only Bîtch who can take up to 10 men in a night. The only girl among us who could handle a foursome without getting tired. I’m not sure you can do the job Gladys and again, Frida always comes to the club unannounced. What if she sees you? “Then sneak out of the house to the club tonight by 8 pm” She said.
Gladys smiled broadly.
“I don’t need to sneak out. I always go out by 7pm, then come back home by 10 pm and mom wouldn’t even notice.. even if she does, she only nags and then we’re good again” She said while the other girls laughed.
” You’re one bàdass “Cassie said amidst laughter.
“Go change into something comfortable so we can start our exercise” Bijoux said and Gladys nodded. Happily, she left for the changing room to get a more fitting outfit.
” We’ll only have to foól those in the club and announced Gladys to be Menodora since they almost have the same body structure” Bijoux said and the girls nodded gently.
Soon after, Gladys joined them and practice commenced.
