Richmond ?
Goldin walked in and crashed on the chair. I walked to the sitting room from where I was standing and met her dozing off. I tapped her and she jerked open her eyes before sitting up. She rubbed her eyes and met my angry face
“Hey, hey, hey, wassup dude”. She said and hit me on the chest playfully
“What was the meaning of what you did earlier today?”. I asked icily
“I shared my good news with you”. She pouted
“Really, I almost lost my job today because I was on my way to deliver and I was given 20 minutes. When I saw your call, I had to pack and receive it. I was even happy when you said you had a good news. Only for me to hear you say you miss me”. I said angrily
“Well as long as you weren’t fired, that changed the whole story”. She said and yawned tiredly
“Food?”. She asked and I walked away without saying anything
“I’m so tired”. She said and I watched her walk to her room without closing the door and crashed on her bed.
“Dumb”. I muttered and walked to hear room, switch off the light and closed the door before heading to my room.
******Next morning******
Goldin?
I jerked open my eyes and sat up. I stretched and yawned hungrily. I checked the time and quickly check my phone to know if I’ll be working the morning.
“Thank goodness, I’m on night shift”. I said to no one in particular.
I got down from the bed and walked out of the room. I met Richmond ready for work. I greeted him but got no reply. I walked to him and faced him
“I just greeted you”. I said and he ignored me
What the Fuçk!
“Okay,I’m sorry about what happened yesterday”. I pleaded, he looked at me and looked away
” Yes I’m sorry,I was too tired to think about anything”. I added
” Well I never said I was angry”. He shrugged and stood up from the chair
” What!!!!!. Okay, I’m on night shift today, so I won’t be………”
” I never asked you”. He said and walked out while I ran after him
” I already apologized, why are you acting weird and stop ignoring me”. I yelled and he turned to face me with a sweet smile plastered on his face. He scattered my already rough hair before walking away. I clenched my fist angrily and walked into the house hissing repeatedly
