“We are here boss,” The driver said and almost immediately two guard open the door for them and they stepped out majestically.
The sound of music could be heard, indicating that it was a party going on.
The red carpet was going on.
Everyone stood staring at them as they step out of the car.
Flashlight could be seen everywhere as they stepped out.
“Mr Martin,” People yell as he stepped.
“Oh my Fuçking geez, he look so hot,”
“I love your hair martin,”
“Look at his watch,”
“Who is the pretty damsel beside him?” These were the comments of the people and if not because of the guards following them, they would have got hold of them.
“Mr Martin, can we please take a picture of you,” A woman said walking towards them and martin rolled his eyes. This was one of the reasons why he h@të coming to parties.
“Don’t be rude,” Evelyn whispered in his ear.
“How about you take a picture with me?
“No…no I don’t want to,” Evelyn was quick to reply and martin just scoff before turning to look at the woman.
“Okay,” He gave in his best smile.
He smile lightly as the flashlight click on his face.
“Thank you Mr Martin,” The photographer said and martin nodded before taking evelyn hand and walk fully into the club.
The club was filled with people dancing and drinking. Some people turn to look at them and their eyes widened as they stare at the pretty couple in their midst.
The boys lick their lips as they stare at evelyn likewise the girls.
“Evelyn stay by my side okay, I don’t want some @$$hOle staring at what is mine,” Martin said his voice showing how serious he is and evelyn just shake her head.
He was getting possessive over her again.
They walk upstairs, going away from the noice.
“Hmmm martin were are we going?” Evelyn ask curiously as they climb the long stairs but martin didn’t answer her.
They got to a door and martin push the door open only to see another set of people. They seem rich, dress rich and then evelyn realize that it was the V. I. P. Section.
Everyone turn towards their direction.
The men was dressed in suits and there were a woman beside each of them.
“Martin,” Mr tom called walking towards them and martin just stare at him with h@tëred. h@tëred were visibly in her eyes and he didn’t bother hiding it.
“Mr tom,” he called back and they both shake hands.
“Evelyn?” He called turning towards evelyn who just fake a smile.
She felt so uncomfortable around him.
“You look so pretty,” He smirk and took her hand gently before kissing it slowly.
Evelyn tried to remove her hand from his but he didn’t allow it making the young girl feel so uncomfortable.
“Mr tom I would appreciate if you take your hands off my wo… secretary,” Martin said and Mr tom just smirk before removing his hand from her.
“Please come this way,” He said and pointing to a sit and they both sat down. Most of the men were in there late 40s to 50s and martin seem to be the youngest. They kept staring at martin with jealousy likewise the young ladies beside the men.
The door open revealing a young man. The man stare at evelyn and his eyes suddenly widened in surprise.
“Evelyn?” He called making both turn their direction towards him and evelyn eyes widened in surprise too.
“Alexander?” She called and they both hug each other while the people just stare at them. Martin was trying to keep it cool because seeing someone else touch his fiance.
“Hmmm,” Evelyn realize what that meant and she quickly move away from him. Alexander stare at martin and he huff immediately he saw him, hatred visibly in his eyes.
You remember that incident of martin beating up a guy when they were in college. He is the one.
“Nice meeting you again,” Evelyn said and alexander smile while evelyn walk back to her sit.
“Can’t you even say hi to him?” Evelyn ask and martin scoffs.
“Seriously eve? Are you trying to get on my nerves. You know how much I h@të that guy right from then,” Martin said and evelyn chuckle.
“I just want everyone to know you belong to me,” He whispered in her ear and kiss her cheek and she quickly push him away.
“Seriously martin, we are in the midst of people,” She said trying hard not to blush.
“I told you I don’t care,” Martin said and they both smile at each other.
Alexander stare at them and scoffs. She has always liked evelyn but he didn’t get a chance to tell her and seeing her together with Martin is pissing her off.
“Mr Martin I so much appreciate you being here today,” mr tom said getting everyone back to reality and martin just rolled his eyes.The only reason he is here, is because he is trying to sigh a deal if not, he won’t be here.
Evelyn took out a notepad and started jotting down some things likewise the other ladies.
They were their secretary.
Mr tom took a remote and press a button and almost immediately the T. V was on display.
“It is 30 years aniversary of building my company and getting successful so i have invited all of you to come celebrate with me,” He said and everyone clap but martin as always didn’t bother to.
“Hmmmm martin I think I need to use the rest room,” Evelyn said and martin nodded standing up.
“Let go together,”
“Seriously martin, I am just going to use the restroom,” He said and martin sigh before sitting back on the chair. He really wanted to go with her but If she feel uncomfortable, he is not going to force her.
“Okay,” He simply replied and evelyn walk out.

She wash her face before coming out only to meet face to face with Alex.
“Oh Alexander?” She called with a smile.
“You look so pretty eve,” He complimented.
“Thank you Alex,” She replied and tried to walk away but Alex drag her back.
“Do you really have to be with Martin? Do you love him that much,”
“What the hell are you saying?” Evelyn chuckle.
“Evelyn that guy is dangerous for you,” Alexander said and evelyn scoff.
He was starting to get on her nerves.
“Do you by any chance have feeling for me?” He ask staring at him suspiciously and he sigh.
“Yeah he is dangerous but he is trying to change for me,” She smiles and tried to walk past her but Alexander drag her back and kiss her making her eyes widened and she quickly push him off.
“Get away from me, how dare you? She yells and push him off.
“Woah,” Someone claps coming towards them. They both turn around only to see martin staring at them… probably Alexander with a dangerous smile.
“Martin…… it is not what…what you think?” Evelyn shuttered nervously walking towards him but she didn’t dare hold her hands.
She was d@mn scared when he is angry.
“You have the guts to kiss my fiance. huh?” He questioned taking a dangerous step towards him while alexander just kept glaring at him, trying to sound bold but feel down in him he was d@mn so afraid.
“Martin please don’t do any……. Evelyn tried to say.
“Evelyn Fuçking shut your mouth up,” He yells angrily and evelyn shut up immediately.
Truly what alexander did was wrong, but she was so scared he was going to do something harsh.
Just as she was thinking. A blow landed on alexander face sending him to the ground…
