” How come you’re so fast?” Remy asked, already tired
Violet didn’t reply until she took a short cut heading to her home. She didn’t also stop running intil she got home
Remy released her hands, panting heavily
” Oh my, that’s one hell of an exercise” he said, catching his breath.
” You’re very lazy.. I wonder what turn you into a bully” Violet hissed and walked into the kitchen. She came back minutes later with a knife
Remy who wasn’t paying attention, suddenly felt something cold on his neck
” If you turn I’m gonna kill you…” She said and he stood upright
” What are you doing?” He asked
” Why were those people after you? Are you a thief?” She inquired
” Thief? Wtf!! ” He said and tried walking away from the knife but she held it more firmly to his neck and he got cut slightly that blood began to leave the spot
He didn’t bother to say anything, instead, he held her hands and drew her closer to himself…
Her heart skipped beats since it was unexpected. She was so close to him and for the first time, she found him really handsome
Remy smirked then removed the knife from her hands.
” I know I’m cute but don’t try something like this next time..” he said holding the knife
” Where’s your kitchen?” He asked and before Violet could get back to her senses, he was already seated feasting on her lunch
” You cooked this?” He asked
” Just eat and die cause I’ve poison the meal.. ” Violet smirked and immediately, Remy’s stomach started making weird sounds
” Wait, did you really poison it?” He held his stomach as it made loud noises
” Don’t worry my grandma has a big garden at the back of our house, it will be enough to bury 50 of your type..” Violet said and immediately, the door burst opened
” Uncle Stephen?” She called and Remy choked
” How are you Violet? How’s your grandmother?”
” She’s fine… What are you doing here?”
” I came for him ” Stephen pointed at Remy
” Sir Remy, you’re needed at home right away..” Stephen said
” Sir Remy? Is this some joke or what?” Violet faced Stephen properly
” He works with the chairman, so it’s understandable..” Remy replied
” I think I really can’t escape this but how did you know Mr Stephen?” He turned to Violet and Jeffrey entered the house too that moment
” Dad?” He called
” Dad? Mr Stephen is his dad?” Remy asked unbelievably then he remembered how he had hit him with a bottle at the club some times back
” Yep.. his dad..” Violet said
” Can we go now sir…
” Just call me Remy..” he turned to Violet again
” I think it’s time I go home scholarship”
He drew his face closer to hers
” Going home but not staying there..” he whispered with a laugh
” You’re one hell of a child. Just do as you please, your personal life isn’t my concern anyway..” she rolled her eyes while Remy walked out with Stephen
” I’ll be coming home late son, tell your mom to eat without me..” Stephen faced his son and he just nodded
” How did you find me?” Remy asked as they walked towards the car
” I tracked your device..” Stephen replied
” Oh! ”
” Please get in..” Stephen said opening the door for him
” My power bike is somewhere around this place but I don’t remember where exactly it is”. Remy said
” Don’t worry, the guards will look for it and bring it back safely” Stephen replied sitting next to Remy as the driver took off

LI’S RESIDENCE
Ryan just sat infront of the house staring into space when a car drove into the parking lots
It wasn’t long he wake up from bed feeling good again
” The company’s car? Did something happen?” He wondered and Stephen alighted from the car.
” It’s Mr Stephen.. what brought him to the house today?” He wondered again still looking at him without standing up from where he sat but he did immediately he sighted Remy alight from the car
” Remy?” he muttered
” You’re finally home..” he said when Remy got to him
” You can tell Li Xue that I finally came home..” Remy said and walked into the house
” It’s been a while..” he sighed staring at the whole sitting room.
” Good evening young master..” the maids greeted him with a smile
” What’s so good about the evening? I hope you all don’t get on my nerves if you wanna keep living and working in this house..” he released a fake smile, and with that he walked into his own room
Ryan just stood at the door watching him. No doubt he was happy his brother came back home.
He walked to his room and sat on his bed.
” I wish everything could go back to how they use to be” He laid on his bed staring at his ceiling.
“Lishu isn’t here anymore, I wonder if things would ever get better between Remy and I..” he sigh and his phone rang.
He checked the caller but he didn’t pick up when he released it was Violet. The phone kept ringing yet he still didn’t pick up
The call came in again and this time, he ended the call himself. He clicked on the message icon instead
? RYAN IS ASLEEP RIGHT NOW.. Brown..
He sent and tossed his phone away

Violet got really frustrated as she kept calling Ryan’s number yet he wouldn’t pick up. She became even more angry when he dropped the call. Jeffrey just sat staring at her as he ate from the food on the table. The one Remy was eating before he left
” I’m glad he’s fine..” She finally smiled after seeing the message
” Are you gonna go to the restaurant today?” Jeffrey asked
” I won’t, I’m tired already. My body feels numb because of Remy.. she replied
” You both are getting close”he smiled
” It’s very easy to make friends and again, I’m pretty.. Violet laughed
” I know right?” He laughed too
