Final Chapter
{ ᴍᴀʀʀɪᴇᴅ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ }
^^ Abandoned Building ^^
Tessa woke up only to find herself on the second floor of an abandoned building.
She tried moving but then she found out she was tied onto a chair and what’s worse her chair was placed at the edge of an open space.
One little mistake and she will be falling off the second floor.
“You are finally up” Blair said and immediately she turn her gaze on her.
“What’s with this sick joke Blair! It’s not funny” Tessa yelled at her.
“Joke? Am at a stage where I can’t afford to joke with anyone, I’d rather prefer to kill, you must have heard about Clarissa’s death, right? ” she said.
“So you really did murder Clarissa! How could you? What did you gain by doing that!” Tessa yelled at her.
“Her life. She dared betrayed me, if she hadn’t decide to help you and Connor then I wouldn’t have done that to her” Blair said as bit into her fingers looking like a maniac.
“You won’t get away with it Blair and if you do anything to me too, you won’t get away with it either”
“Oh! But am sure that I will get away with your death too but we will have to wait for a spectator who will be here any time soon”
“Blair this is madness. Let me go” Tessa said trying to make her see reason.
“Let you go! Am afraid I can’t do that. Your arrival into our lives began all this mess. You took away my granny’s love, my siblings love, my friend’s loyalty and mostly Connor’s love” Blair said as she got off the sofa.
“I didn’t take any….”
“Yes you did, you Bîtch!” Blair screamed.
“You seduced Connor and ended up bewitching him with your body. I could have make him mine, I could have had a chance with him but you ruined it all!” Blair screamed again.
“You don’t love Connor as a sister will do to a brother but instead…you love him as man” Tessa said as the truth finally hit her.
“It’s the reason why you’ve h@tëd me, why you wanted me out of your life and why you plotted with Edward just to separate Connor and I ”
“Now you are finally talking sense. Am glad you know what you did and am glad you know the reason why you will be dying soon” Blair said she wipe her nose.
Just then they heard the roar of a car and slowly she went to pick up broken glass.
“Our spectator is finally here” She said before standing behind Tessa chair and pulling back her hair, she set the broken glass on Tessa’s throat just as Connor got to the second building.
“What the hell are you doing Blair!” Connor yelled as soon as he saw her.
“Did you bring the police along with you?” Blair asked.
“I didn’t just as you told me” Connor replied.
“I thought you would after all you did the same with Edward” Blair said laughing like a maniac.
“That’s a different situation and this is also a different situation. Please put down the glass and step away from the edge”
“Why?”
“Cause it’s dangerous to you and to Tessa. So listen to me and leave there, I beg you” Connor pleaded.
“There’s nothing left for me Connor. I killed someone, am a murderer and it’s only right that I die and Tessa should also die with me” Blair said with tears in her eyes.
“All I wanted was your love, I only wanted your love but then you had to give it to her. She stole your love from me and so she deserves to die along with me”
“Dying is not the solution Blair, it’s not the solution so please trust me and give me your hand” Connor pleaded.
“Trust. Edward father had R@PED a girl and trustingly Edward had told you about it but then you went along to the police to tell them the truth which got them arresting Edward father leading to his death. If you could do that to a close friend you are definitely going to do it to me” Blair said and by now Tessa had freed herself from the rope, she got out of the chair running into Connor arms.
“Tch! Cunning, you’ve always been cunning and lucky which is why you won’t be dying with me today” Blair said as she move closer to the edge.
“Don’t do it Blair. Listen to Connor and get away from that edge” Tessa warned.
“It’s the best thing for me. If I leave this edge then I will be taken to jail for the death of Clarissa and I still won’t be able to earn your love….when we get reborn, let’s meet again as lovers, good-bye ” Blair said as she fell off the edge not giving Connor and Tessa a chance to save her.

Melody walk into the house feeling down.
It’s her birthday and even if everyone forgot, how can Tessa forget about it? She thought as she sat on the chair.
“Well there is little Claire to take care of” she thought as a smile lit her face while thinking about her cute niece.
She stood up to head to her room when the lights suddenly went off and Cynthia along with Tessa walked out of the kitchen carrying a cake while singing happy birthday.
Chris, Frederick, Fiona, Connor and Granny who was carrying baby Claire also got down the stairs while singing her a happy birthday.
“I thought you all forgot” Melody said all choked up with tears.
“How can we when you’ve been reminding us about it ever since two months ago” Granny Susie said.
“Hurry up and blow the candle” Cynthia said and after making a wish, Melody blew off the candle.
“Woo hoo! Let the party begin” A excited Frederick burst out while he began playing a song with his mp3.
Tessa left the kitchen after an hour of serving everyone food.
She stood by the door way watching everyone and she couldn’t help but to smile.
Blair’s death a year ago had been a hard time for everyone especially granny Susie who kept blaming herself.
But with a psychiatrist help, granny Susie finally came to terms with it.
Cynthia and Fiona mother had been angry about her daughters dating Chris and Frederick since they came from the family who had caused her pain but after listening to Frederick and Chris who made it clear to her that they truly love her daughters she had no choice but to give them her blessing.
Due to not wanting people to talk about her, Cynthia quit being a teacher in Diamond high and decided to be a in house tutor while Chris is now a college student.
Though Frederick and Fiona have been allowed to date each other, they are still being watched by a strict Connor who made it clear to them that he didn’t want them having S*x until they are old enough and it’s one of the reason that he denied them going on a trip for their summer break.
And there is she and Connor. After the ordeal of Blair’s death, the thought of welcoming a new life into the Hank family got each and everyone pampering her and when little Claire was born, everyone treated her like a glass most especially her father who has been nothing but doting to her.
With that satisfied smile on her face, she went to Connor.

“Let’s leave” Chris whispered into Cynthia ear.
“We can’t! It’s Melody birthday” She replied.
“But am horny…I want you” he said giving her ear a bite.
“My God! How on earth did you become a bad boy?” Cynthia lightly teased.
“It’s all due to your teaching. I can remember that a few months ago, I was a pure virgin but I ended up being taken by you and all I can say is that I learnt well” he replied as he gave her a kiss on the neck.
“Let’s leave. Make up an excuse and let’s get out of here” Chris whispered into her ear again.
“Fine then. Come with you bad boy” she said while pulling him off.

Fiona stood at the balcony starring at the night sky when Frederick suddenly pulled her against the wall and out of sight.
“What’s Wrong?” Fiona asked and slowly Frederick let out a mischievous smile before showing her the plane tickets he bought for south Korea.
“I thought Connor forbade us from going on this trip” Fiona said.
“He did but we don’t have to listen to him. It’s the summer holiday and we are meant to spend it however we want which is why I got this and besides, Tessa knows about it and she has promise to keep it a secret for us ” Frederick told her.
“So are you coming or not?” He asked and immediately she put her hand into his outstretched own.
“Am willing to go anywhere with you” Fiona replied and that got him lifting her by the waist to spin her around.
“I love you” He said before giving her a kiss.

“You are the only one that haven’t given me a gift brother in law” Melody said as she got to where Connor was standing.
“My gift is meant to be the last one since it’s a big one” Connor told her.
“What sort of gift is it?” Melody asked in excitement.
“It just arrived. You can go outside to see it” Connor said and immediately Melody took to her heels.
She was all smile as she ran out of the apartment but when she saw who was waiting for her the smile vanished.
“Hello and happy birthday” Nicole greeted as he was seated on his wheel chair with a a gift box in his hand.
“Are you perhaps the gift Connor was talking about?” Melody asked.
“I doubt if am good to be a gift to you but then I brought this and…”
“Take with you and leave” Melody said and made to walk back in but he stopped her.
“Am sorry. Am sorry that I left without even saying good bye but I only did that to…”
“I don’t want to listen to your reason, Nicole. Do you know how hurt I felt when you left me all alone? I loved you, you were the first guy that made me feel that way and I thought…I thought I could make you feel it too but all you did was to reject and push me away and what’s worse, you even left me just to make it clear to me that you don’t feel the same”
“You shouldn’t have come back, You should have stayed where you are and should have let me forget about you completely!” She yelled at him before pulling her hand out of his.
She was about to go into the apartment when he called her name.
“I want you to…” Melody stopped what she was going to say when she saw Nicole on his two feet.
“Oh my God! Y..ou …you…are… walking” She stuttered before running back to him.
“It’s one of the reason why I left ” he said while she quickly held onto him to steady him.
“As you can see am not that healed yet. I was still undergoing therapy when I decided to come home”
“You should have finish the therapy. Why on earth did you endanger yourself by choosing to come here? ”
“I had to see you. I had to let you know that I love you and that even though I didn’t succeed in walking again, I would always be your man and I…..” He was cut off from saying more when Melody gave him a hug.
“You should have told me. I thought you left because didn’t love me, am sorry Nicole, am sorry my love” she cried against his shoulders while he soothe her.
“Am back now and I don’t intend to leave you ever again” Nicole vowed which got her feeling relieved.
Nicole’s return is the best birthday present ever…she thought.

“They look so cute together” Tessa said as she and Connor stood at the balcony watching Melody and Nicole.
“Not as cute as us” Connor said into her ear and slowly she turn to him.
“Are you happy?” Tessa asked and he let out a laugh before answering.
“Right now, it feels like have won the lottery. Am immensely happy and that’s all thanks to you and to our daughter. You came into my boring life one summer and changed it drastically”
“It was just a night but it led to me finding the greatest treasure of all which is you. I love you Tessa and I hope that you will stay in my life and keep on making me the most happiest man in the world” Connor added and that got her wrapping her arms around his neck.
“That feels like a proposal” Tessa said.
“And it is a proposal” Connor replied while showing her a box which had a ring in it.
“Thanks to Edward we had a divorce and if it hadn’t been for little Claire arrival, I would have done this a long time ago though it’s a little too late, I hope you will do me the honour of marrying me again” he said and a touched Tessa could only nod her head in reply.
As soon as he slip the ring into her finger, she wrap her arms around his neck while he lifted her by the waist.
“I love you Connor”
“And I love you my summer witch” he said knowing that the years ahead for them will be a good one…..
