*Vivian’s POV*
“Alejandro and Vivian!”. The familiar voice announces as we walked through the wooden bar door.
“Hey uncle Jo!”. I say back excitedly high fiving the middle aged man that owns the bar who likes to go by the name Uncle Jo.
“Let me guess, 2 root beer floats?”. He asks as we head towards the pool tables area while nodding back at him.
We began our usual competitive game throughout the whole night before stopping when I realized my phone was ringing during the time me and Alejandro took another root beer float break.
“Hello”. I say into the phone while putting a thumbs up at Uncle Jo when he asks Alejandro if we wanted any snacks.
“Bunny, are you doing anything this weekend?”. John asks through the phone as I smiled happily hearing his voice. 🦋🦋🦋
“I don’t think so, why?”. I reply back while grabbing an Oreo packet from Alejandro’s hand.
“You don’t have to say yes but my mom and sister have been nagging me since we first met about how they wanted to meet you and your family. I clearly understand if you and your family don’t want to do this, but this weekend there’s gonna be a ball coming up for my brother in law’s cousin who’s getting married next week and my family wanted me to invite my mate and her family to finally get to meet you guys. I totally understand if you do-“. Before he finishes his nervous rambling I cut him off quickly. 🤩🤩🤩
“It’s okay John. My mother been dying to meet your family as well and trust me if I mention anything about a ball in your castle she’ll do everything in her power to make sure we’re there in a flash “. I reply with a slight laugh as a long silence was heard through the other side of the phone.
“John?”. I ask confused before hearing him let out an excited cheer.
“I’m fine, yeah am okay. I was just trying to hold in my excitement in case you might change your mind “. he answers back while letting out a long sigh making me laugh at his cuteness.
“What time did you want us to show up?”. I question back while eating the Oreos in my hand.
“Actually since my mother’s really dying to meet you guys, she decided to get one of the biggest limo’s we had to bring you and your family in, but that’s also not all. She also decided to somehow choose the most expensive and luxurious clothing’s for all 3 of you guys do when the limo gets to your house, the driver will give you guys her gifts in large gift boxes before letting you guys change into them and bringing you to our castle like a princess should be invited, which is her words not mine.
And just to make this clear, even though my mother hasn’t met you yet, I’m already seeing the fact that she’s gonna love you way more than me since the only time she talks to me now is when I mention you or she asks about you “. He explains as I smiled happily down at the Oreos making Alejandro look at me like am crazy.
“Tell your mom that me and my family are thankful for everything she’s doing and we’re all excited to meet you and your family, especially my mom”. I reply as he chuckles before I looked back up at Alejandro trying to take some of my Oreos.
“Wait! I almost forgot, can Alejandro come to the ball?”. I ask suddenly realizing John never mentioned Alejandro throughout our whole conversation.
“If it makes you happy, then am fine with it”. He answers back as I cheer happily seeing Alejandro roll his eyes before smiling at my reaction.
“Okay bye, see you this weekend”. I finish off quickly right when I noticed Alejandro was trying to begin the pool game before I hang up.

*John’s POV*
“Oh my goodness! Is she here yet?!”. My annoying older sister squeals while gripping my arm as I rolled my eyes.
“Can you stop with the yelling, She already texted me she’s on her way just be patient. And don’t embarrass her or bombard her with all you guys questions at once. I just want this to be a normal night of both of our families to meet for the first time, not a night where you guys attack her with all your investigation questions “. I explain while rolling my eyes at all my family members excitedly staring at the main entrance of our castle door.
“There’s already so many people here, why don’t you guys go talk to t-“. before I could continue, my wolf already sense mate outside.
“Don’t overreact and act normal! for once at least “. I mutter the ending of my sentence before turning around to see my mate walking inside the front doors with her family and Alejandro besides her.
“Bunny”. I greet her happily with a smile as she smiles back while walking up to me.
“You look as beautiful as ever”. I whisper while kissing her hand gently as her face turns red.
“Oh my moon goddess! My baby brother was right! You are the most beautiful female wolf in all the kingdom”. Jezzabelle says pushing past me to hold my mate as if she has never seen her before even though they didn’t talk to each other then.
“My name is Jezzabelle, am the beautiful and smart older sister of my handsome little John John”. She says winking at me as I groan at the nickname she still calls me after all this years.
“You must be the over protective older brother that my brother over exaggerates about when he explains his mates family”. John says now reaching out to Vivian’s older brother who was standing behind her as they shock hands.
“I’m Jason, the so called over protective oldest sibling of these two”. He explains while wrapping his large arms around mine and Jezzabelle’s shoulder.
“And we are the parents to all this beautiful 3”. My mother says walking past us to stand in front of my mate who was looking up at her nervously.
“My name is Jackelyn Johnson and my lovely son who is your mate was happily named after my beautiful husband here”. She says shaking Vivian’s hand before wrapping her arms around my dad that was now smiling down at Vivian now.
“John senior, here”. My dad says with a wide grin as Vivian holds out her hand only to have both us be surprised when my father pulls her into a tight hug.
“Okay John calm down, Don’t break the poor girl!”. My mother snaps before forcing a smile when my father giggles while putting a shocked Vivian back on the floor.
“Hello your highnesses, I would just like to start off by saying that we are so honored to be personally invited to your spontaneous castle that we’ve always dreamed of walking into”. Vivian’s mom, Victoria says walking in front of Vivian now with a large tray in her hand.
“Oh! What’s this?”. My mom gasps as Victoria smiles.
“Well, when my daughter was saying that my new in laws were expecting us for our first meet, I just couldn’t stop myself from making a delicious tray of my homemade peach pie “. She replies happily with a smile.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Victoria here loves to bake”. I say taking the tray from her hand as my mom’s hungry eyes follow it.
“So you must be Victoria Trans that my son in law is always bragging about being the best baker”. The father of Kaden’s, my sister’s husband and the former Alpha King, Kane Kingsley says now stepping in front of Vivian and her family with his wife glued to his side like always.
“Did my son ever mention that he basically grew up in his early childhood years in the bakery that our family owned since I was pregnant with my son Jason here “. My mother says excitedly pulling Victoria away to start her usual rambling like always when she’s really interested in a conversation.
“Jason! Get your hungry son a plate of fruits from one of the cooks in the kitchen “. I Pamela, my sister in law says handing Jason his adorable 3 years old son.
“But-“. before he could start protesting, his wife pushed him towards the kitchen while rolling her eyes.
“Hello, my name is Pamela Johnson and I’m the wife of John’s older brother “. She says now introducing herself to Vivian.
“And who might the handsome gentleman here be?”. The former Luna and my sister’s mother in law, Cindy Kingsley inputs while gesturing towards an awkwardly silent Alejandro.
