One month later
Catania pov.
“Are you sure you will be alright I mean you need to go to the hospital,” she said as I throw up in the toilet.
“I am fine anna, you don’t want to keep your customers waiting,” I said as I wash my face and she sign.
“Okay call me if you need anything,” she said and I nodded weakly and then she walk out.
“Geez want the hell is wrong with me,” I said to myself before walking out of the bathroom.
I sign when I saw the food on the table. I sat on the bed and open the food but I suddenly lost appetite and I push the food to the corner.
What the hell is wrong with me? I was the one who told anna to prepare me ripe plantain and sauce but then I suddenly lost appetite.
It has been two weeks since when I had sëx when jax and I have not seen him for a while which I am grateful for.
I brought an apartment of 6 million naira and open a bakery shop for Anna, the little money with me I bought food stuff in the house.
My boyfriend Elijah has refuse to call. How can he be so wicked, he was the one that beat me yet he is waiting for me to apologize well never am I going to beg him again.
I have had enough of him.
I don’t know what is wrong with me these days, I throw up everytime, I eat alot and sometimes I don’t feel like eating some food even my favorite food, I cry easily and I get angry easily.
This is not my real self that I know for sure.
Oh my gosh! Wait these signs shows that I am pregnant right?
No no I can’t be sure.
I quickly unlock my phone and went straight to goggle.
What are the signs of pregnancy. I typed and I gulp down as it loaded.
Ths first result I saw made my heart beat faster.
Pregnancy has different signs but the common ones are; throwing up, feels like eating unnecessary food, eats alot, cry easily.
Oh my God! This are the signs I am having recently.
No. No. They do say goggle lies sometimes Right?
“Geez I am dead,” I said pacing up and down.
I look at the phone again and then I saw another result.
Symptoms of pregnancy are; it makes you grow fat, your B@@bs becomes big.
Okay I am not have any of the symptoms which is a sign of relief but….oh my gosh.
I need to go to the hospital to clear my doubt. I taught before rushing into the bathroom.

“Good morning sir,” I stood up immediately the doctor came.
“Good morning Mrs catania right?” He asks and I nodded.
“Please sit,” he Said pointing to the chair and I sat down.
“So what do you say is wrong with you?” He asks staring at my face and I gulp down nervously.
“Hmmm doctor I don’t know what is wrong with me but I have been throwing up lately, I lost appetite sometimes and I eat alot and I don’t really know is happening,” I said and he smile before jotting something down on his book.
“Sorry to asks though, I know it private but have you seen your period this month?” He asks and I gasps realiasing what he was saying.
“No…..no……it is 4 days late.” I shutter and he smile before jotting something down again.
“Well I have to do some test for you before telling you what is wrong with you,” he said and I nodded.
“Okay then wait here I will be back,” he smiled and walk out of the office.
I place my hand on my chest trying to calm down.
God please let this not be true. If it is how am I going to cope when my boyfriend is not even the father of the baby.
The door open and he walks in with a nurse behind him carrying a train filled with some stuff.
He walk towards me and took an injection from the train.
“Please mrs catania stretch your hand forward,” he said which I did.
I groan in pain as he deep the injection into my skin drawing some blood from my hand.
After that he place it back on the train.
“I will be back in thirty minutes time,” he said and walk out of the office.
(40 minutes later)
Geez where is the doctor? Am getting impatient already.
Almost immediately the door open and the doctor walks in holding an envelope while smiling.
“Mrs catania sorry for keeping you waiting,” he said and I just fake a smile.
“Here,” he Said and stretch forth the envelope towards me which I took with shaking hand.
I can’t even breath well due to how heavy I was breathing.
“Congratulations mrs catania you are one month pregnant,” he said smiling and the envelope fell from my hand immediately.
“I am ruined,” I said as a tear fell down from my eyes.
“Mrs catania are you okay?” He asks andI nodded cleaning off my tears.
“Thank you doctor,” I said and rush out of the office in tears.

“Am sorry,” I said as I pump into someone and the envelope fell down from my eyes.
“Is okay,” he said and bend down to pick the envelope but…then I remember that voice.
He stood up and his eyes widened as he saw me.
“Catania,” he called in surprise and without thinking twice I ran out.
“Wait,” he yells after me and I quickly enter a taxi.
“Catania,” he yells and the car drove off.
Why do I have to met him…. I taught sobbing quietly. I am pregnant For me, obviously this is as a result of the one night stand I had with him.
Geez, I am pregnant For a drug dealer, a gangster…..
Wait! Where is the envelope.
“d@mn it! I yells when I remember he picks the envelope.
Jax pov
My eyes widened as I stare at her but then she ran out of the hospital ignoring my call.
“d@mn it!,” I scream angrily making the whole staff look at me.
I have been searching for her for the past one month but I couldn’t find and now I did she just run away from me.
Beside what was she doing in the hospital or is she sick. I taught and then look at the envelope in front of me before opening it.
It was a test result
I open it and I stiffened when I read the result.
She is pregnant and it says it is one month pregnant which means the baby is Fuçking….
“Oh my gosh,” I yells excitedly.

“Can you just calm down and tell me what is going on,” will yells as I walk up and down.
God knows I was d@mn so Fuçking angry.
“Just tell me what is going on,” will said and I stop.
“She is carrying my baby will, my treasure,” he yells roughing my hair.
I am frustrated right now but then I am happy. She got something that belongs to me and this is also to make her mine.
“Who?” Will asks
“Catania the stripper I had sëx with,” I said and his eyes widened.
“How the hell do you even know that?” He ask and I scoffs throwing the envelope toward him.
“I pump into her while coming into your hospital and to think of it she was coming from your hospital,” I said and he just rolled his eyes before picking up the telephone.
“See me in my office now,” he said to whoever he was talking to on the telephone and drop it back.
Almost immediately the door open and a man walk in wearing a doctor coat.
“Where you the one on duty today?” Will asks and he nodded.
“Do you by any chance meet any woman who came for test and her test was show she is pregnant,” will said.
“Hmmm sir yes but there are alot of them,” he said and I scoffs.
“d@mn it!” I yells angrily
“Please calm down man this is a hospital,” will said and I huff.
“Her name is catania,”will said
“Oh yes I remember,” he said.
“I told you will,” I said trying to calm down but I could not.
“I want you to find her will, burn down the whole city until you know where she stays because she has something that belongs to me,” I yells hitting the table making both of them jolted back in shock.
“Can you just calm down please, don’t break my table please,” he said teasingly and I huff.
He thinks I am joking.
“Hey you get me a alcohol and cigarettes,” I said to the doctor.
“We don’t have alcohol neither cigarette here sir,” he said and I turn sharply to look at him making him bow down his head in fear.
“Send the messenger to get some for him before he burn down my hospital,” will said and the doctor nodded before walking out……..
