CHAPTER 45💔46
Charlotte sighed as she walked into the building.Her eyes were puffy and it was obvious that she had been crying.She sniffed for the last time as she walked into the office and as always a lady was having a lap dance on Louis’s leg and she squeezed her face in disgust.She is really selling herself to a man whore,unbelievable! She coughed so they could notice her and Louis smirked while the lady didn’t seem to mind.
“Get you slutty @$$ off me and move”said Louis as he pushed the lady off his legs and she scurried off.
“You can have your seat,sunshine”Louis said to Charlotte and she did so reluctantly.
“Where is the money?”Charlotte asked impatiently and Louis chuckled.
“Easy,bae.It’s ready but you have to sign some papers first.I wouldn’t want your brother coming to yell at me after I claim you”Louis said as he pushed some docvments forward while Charlotte glared at him before reading through it.
She looked through the docvments and it contained rules and regulations that she had to obey. “Rule one:You dare not try to run away from me no matter what.Rule two:Be submissive on bed.Rule three:You don’t step out of the house till I say so.Rule four:You don’t see any man except me including your brother…….”Charlotte scoffed as she slammed the docvments on the table.
“You must be kidding me.I won’t even be allowed to see my brother??”She asked with a raised eyebrow and Louis smirked.
“Seeing your brother might trigger you to want to break rule one”Louis said and she glared at him.
“Am Fuçking done with this”yelled Charlotte as she stood up but Louis next words made her sit back.
“I guess your friend will have to die then”said Louis as he lit a cigarette and Charlotte’s heart ached.Henry!She had to do it for Henry.At least he would be alive even if it costs her happiness.Tears poured down her eyes as she signed the docvments and Louis took it from her before handing her a bag of money.
Charlotte sniffed as she took the money and stood up to leave but Louis pulled her back.
“Not so fast,Barbie doll.When are you moving in?”asked Louis.
“Immediately after his surgery is successful”replied Charlotte as she left.

Fredrick ran into the hospital looking all sweaty as he rushed into the doctor’s office.He looked so tensed and stressed out.He had been running to raise money but all he could raise was 5million naira,adding his lifetime savings coupled with the fact that he hadn’t set his eyes on his sister since morning.
The doctor broke into her smile at the sight of Fredrick and Fredrick was confused.
“What’s the problem,doctor?Because if you think I came with the money then you are wrong”said Fredrick as he sat down and the doctor chuckled.
“What money?Your sister already settled the bills and the operation has been carried out.Infact she is with him in his ward right now”replied the doctor and Fredrick’s eyes widened.Charlotte paid the money?Where the Fuçk did she get the money from?
“Are you sure about this?”asked Fredrick and the doctor nodded.Fredrick rushed out of the office heading to the ward as his mind flooded with different questions.

Charlotte stared at Henry’s sleeping face as tears flowed down her cheeks.
“I am leaving,Henry.I hope you wake up before I leave but regardless am glad you are okay.It’s a pity that I won’t be able to tease and insult you when you wake.Goodbye Henry”said Charlotte as she made to leave the ward.Just then,Fredrick rushed into the ward looking wearily at her.
“Where the Fuçk are you going to,Charl”asked Fredrick and Charlotte’s eyes brimmed with tears.She wouldn’t be seeing this lovely brother of hers anymore but it was all worth it.Without saying a word,she hugged Fredrick tightly tearing up on his chest while he patted her back reluctantly.
“I am sorry,Fred but I really had no choice”said Charlotte as she pulled out of the hug running out ignoring all of Fredrick’s calls.

Fredrick rubbed his temple as he ran all through the streets searching for Charlotte.It was 11:30pm already still he hadn’t seen a sign of her anywhere.He had a urge that wh@tëver was happening was related to the Henry’s hospital bills
He was still searching around when his phone rang and he hurriedly picked it up.
“Hello”he said impatiently.
“Hello,I called to inform you that the patient in ward 306 has woken up and it is adviceable that someone comes to stay with him so as to assist him”said the person on the other hand and Fredrick sighed.
“Am on my way”said Fredrick as he turned heading back to the hospital.He was tired and it looked like he had aged a lot in the past 48hrs.He hadn’t even gotten enough rest,all he could do was to worry about the munchkins in his care.
He trapped a sandwich on his way.”At least this might do for now”he thought to himself as he hastened his steps.
