Desmond, Michael and other members were present, waiting patiently for the arrival of LORD STONE the supreme of them all. Some were chit chatting and laughing while minding their own business.
“it’s been a while you showed up here.Did you perhaps become a cool guy during the search? Albert smiled mischievously as he walk to Desmond
“Did you succeed in finding her(Sera)? Don’t forget your time is ticking… Albert added but Desmond kept mute, ignoring him
“And if you don’t find her, you know your existence will be no more.. even if you do find her, you are fated to die by her hand… what a horrible fate” he shook his head and tut-tutted under his breath
” I don’t blame you for spewing out rubbish from that mouth of yours. Don’t panic, stupidity is not a crime” Desmond said coldly
“You just called me stupid?”
“Sorry I hurt your feelings when I called you stupid, I really thought you already know” Desmond smirk
“Well….don’t you think it will be great if you join me in finding her?” Desmond added, the smirk still displaying at the corner of his lips
He wanted to annoy Albert with his words and he was happy his plan was working perfectly from the expression on Albert’s face .
“I guess you are still the same cold and heartless Desmond I knew back then” Albert replied with so much hatred in his words
Albert and Desmond hasn’t been on good terms since the day Desmond was chosen as the spirit god in charge of granting human wishes..
Desmond, who was once friends with Albert had become enemies because of position and this made Albert h@të him so much that anytime he sees Desmond, he always try getting on his nerves
“You both should calm down, you aren’t kids for goodness sake” Michael yelled
“It would have been better if you two were cat and rat so we will all know you two don’t like seeing each other”
Each time we all come here for a meeting you two are always on each other’s neck
I don’t even know what’s wrong with you both” Michael said before he could realize
His eyes widened immediately those words left his mouth. He quickly slammed his hands over his mouth but it was too late. Albert was already giving him deadly glares. he was scared since he wasn’t as powerful as them.
“Huh?? What did you just say?” Albert asked
“Who is the rat and who is the cat? Albelt sn!gg@ed
“Ohh…I’m the rat while Desmond is the cat huh? He said sarcastically his pupils were now green as he started to move closer to Michael who in turn kept shifting back while the heartless demon in front of him kept coming closer
“I think I must have crossed the line” Michael muttered lowly and gulp down emptiness while waiting for the worst with his both eyes closed
“I am a rat” Albert kept repeating the word while sn!gg@ing and with the blink of an eye, he grabbed Michael by the neck choking him. He lifted him up such that his legs were now dangling in the air
Micheal could feel his lungs drying up as he desperately gasps for breath but it seems Albert wasn’t gonna let go anytime soon.
Consequences of offending the devil !!
“Pls spa…re me, I d…don’t want to die” Michael cried out running out of air …he knew Albert was stronger and Could kill him in a matter of minutes since only an immortal could kill another immortal….
“Des,,, Desmond pls save me” he begged in his head
At first, Desmond was gonna ignore him because he thought Albert was going to let Michael go.. unknown to him, Albert wasn’t planning to and Michael was at verge of dead …
“Let him go” Desmond’s voice came out stern
“I don’t want to” Albert said with a smirk and his grip on Michael’s neck tighten
“It’s been long we had a fight. If you win I’m letting him go but if you don’t he’s dying here” Albert smirk
“You’re still a bit of a duffer aren’t you” Desmond asked and he frown
“You still have the guts to exchange words with me and calling me stupid and useless? It seems you prefer he dies” A frown crease Albert’s forehead
“You wouldn’t dare” Desmond let out a throaty growl
“Watc… Albert couldnt finish his statement when Desmond suddenly appear in front of him giving him an unexpected punch which made him crash heavily on a table. Michael fell down in a thump holding his neck and coughing nonstop
Ugh! He(Albert) groan in pain as he struggled to stand on his feat
He wiped the blood from the corner of his lips and sn!gg@ed
“You’ve become stronger Desmond, well, too bad I’m no longer the weak Albert you knew a thousand years ago” Albert said and stood his ground
“Let’s see what you’ve got Des” he smirk and charge towards Desmond
A tough fight started between the two immortals
With the look of things, it wasn’t gonna be a fight anyone could separate since Desmond and Albert were two very powerful gods.. other lower ranked immortals just watched since that was the only thing they could do for the fear of getting wounded .
The fight between the two gods was so tense with Desmond having the upper hand. Michael stood still, perplexed at the scene before him, wondering what he could do to stop them since he thinks the fight was caused by him
“Desmond please stop” Michael cried but Desmond wasn’t listening and was already punching the hell of Albert’s face who now looked like he was gonna die any moment
Desmond turned deaf ears to Michael as he continue hitting albert. He was literally pouring all his anger on Albert
He was about punching Albert’s face…
“STOP” A thunderous voice echoed in the hall making Desmond’s hand stop mid air
There was only one person whom he respected so much; LORD STONE.
Desmond stood up slowly from Albert who now looks lifeless and face lord stone
“Welcome my Lord” he greeted with a bow
Lord stone walk to where Desmond was and sigh
“Must you two always be like this each time you come here?” He(lord stone) asked rhetorically
“You’ve never for once punish this arrogant guy even if he does something bad” Albert cried in pain as he tried standing on his feet but fell back to the ground… He tried using his Powers to heal up but it was fruitless due to how badly wounded he was
