Alex POV ?
I furrowed my brows as she called my name,does she know me?
“Alex”she said again more like a whisper,her eyes are filled with tears already
“good day, ma’am”I greeted with a bow
She flashed me a smile,tears we’re already rolling down her cheeks
“mother,is anything wrong?”Tracy asked
“where did you see him?how?”
“I met him at BHS”
She casted a long glance at me before turning away while wiping the tears from her eyes
“Mom,is my dad still alive?”Tracy asked
Her mom bit her lips without replying her
“how did you get my dad’s picture?”I asked
“your dad_is_ _still alive”she stuttered turning to face Tracy
“what?is it what I’m thinking?he is my brother?”
I turned to look at the woman,she is my mom?but dad never mentioned anything like that to me,he just said she went far away so I just assumed she died.
“Are you related to my Dad?”I asked
“my son,Alex”she said finally letting the years out
she advanced closer to me,stretching her hand out.she got to me and wanted to touch my cheek but I didn’t allow her to,I shifted backwards
“am so sorry”she said
“why did you lie to me mom?why?”Tracy yelled also in tears
“I don’t believe you, ma’am”I said shaking my head while trying to comprehend all
“am so sorry”she said again
“I was lied to all my whole life?I have a dad somewhere while I was suffering?”
“Sweetheart, I don’t mean to”
Tracy ran out of the house and I followed suite,she stopped at the road side crying hard.I moved closer to her hugging her to myself
“I wish all this is a dream”she whimpered
“it’s okay”I muttered
“I don’t believe either”I added
“Your dad never talked about your mother?”she asked raising her head up,her eyes are d@mn red right now
“he didn’t”I answered simply
I’m really trying hard to keep cool,this is so unbelievable
“how about you call your dad?”
My eyes beamed at the thought of that
“it’s getting late already, let me take you home”I said but she shook her head negatively
“let me go with you to the suite,i can’t stay at home”she said softly
I smiled at her,I understand the pain she is currently feeling.
Crystal POV ❣️
“Am home”Gavin announced
“No need to announce your arrival,you are of no importance anyways”I said with an eye roll
“Guess what happened today?”
“I don’t want to listen to your boring tale anymore”I uttered
“Boring tale?today was hell!”
“what happened?”I asked curiously
“I bumped into a girl outside the company,to my surprise she fainted”he went on and explained all that happened
“Did you run away?”I asked
“I acted like a man,paid the bills and took her home”he answered
“who in the world would faint so easily?”
“the doctor said she is suffering from a medical condition, I’ve forgotten what it is called”he uttered making me shake my head
“Your retention is getting low,you need to go back to school”I teased
“what?”
He glared at me and made to hit me but I stood up and ran away
“Come here, I’ll surely kill you today”he said
I sticked out my tongue at him making him even angrily
Just then Dad came in and we stopped running
“Get dressed,we are going to eat out”
“woah, it’s been long we went out as a family”Gavin exclaimed
“which restaurant are we going to?”I asked
“it’s a surprise”Dad said before taking the stairs
I glanced at him suspiciously,dad doesn’t like to eat out.What’s going on?
“I smell something fishy”I muttered
“you need to be casted out of Earth,your instincts are beyond ordinary”Gavin replied in a low voice
I glared at him before taking the stairs, let’s just watch and see what’s gonna happen at the dinner.
Derrick POV ?
“I’m hungry”Andy said dropping his game pad
“you are always hungry, glutton”Kevin retorted
“but we just ate pizza”I said looking at him in disbelief
“it’s my belly not yours”
“pot-belly will fit you”Kevin muttered earning a glare from Andy
“who will cook for us?”Andy asked
“why don’t you cook?”Kevin said with a knowing smile
“I don’t want to”
“just say you can’t”
I chuckled at their drama,crazy friends I’ve got
“I’ll cook,forget I asked”Andy said angrily standing up
He entered the kitchen making us turn to look at each other, Andy preferred sweeping the whole of California to cooking.What has gotten into him?
“Don’t burn down the kitchen”Kevin shouted making me tap his head
He groaned rubbing the part I hit
“Must you use words to annoy him?”I asked

“isn’t he taking too long?”Kevin asked
“Ahhhhh”we heard his voice
We both stood up and rushed into the kitchen but we were welcome with cough as we both started coughing
“what happened?”I asked
he opened the pot slowly
“what did you cook because I’m not seeing anything?”Kevin asked coughing
“pasta”he replied
I exchange glances with Kevin and as if programmed we both started laughing
“who told you I can’t cook?”Kevin mimicked
“you guys should stop that”Andy yelled
Sensing he was hurt,I stopped laughing but Kevin continued
“I h@të you all”Andy shouted before storming out of the house
We bursted into another round of laughter
Sophie POV ?
“are you ready?”mom asked me
I bit my lips trying to prevent myself from exploding.Today is actually the dinner with the so-called influential family
I just nodded my head without replying
“You have to be the girl’s friend,okay?no matter what it takes,be nice to her”mom said and I nodded in understanding
“let’s go, they are here already”she added walking away
I let out a deep breath before following suite.
I got to the living room and there they are,the influential family.I put on a smile moving closer to them
My gaze locked with the girl I was supposed to be friends with,why is she here??
