~ NO LUCKY DAY~

Lilith positioned herself at the corner of the expansive school building, patiently awaiting Aaron’s arrival. Frustration crept in as time passed without any sign of him. Eventually, she let out a sigh and settled onto the pavement. However, her demeanor swiftly transformed the moment she caught sight of Aaron emerging from the building.

“Hey!” she called out, and Aaron turned, a smile playing on his lips as he spotted her. It was precisely the moment she had anticipated.

“Hey,” Aaron greeted, approaching her. “How did you know I go to school here?” he inquired, prompting Lilith to scoff.

“Nevermind. Are you waiting for your mom to pick you up?” she asked, to which he nodded.

“Aaron!” a girl’s voice rang out, and she hugged him from behind.

Lilith’s expression instantly shifted upon witnessing the girl’s affectionate embrace of Aaron.

“Who are you?” the girl questioned, casting a h@tëful gaze. “And who is she, Aaron?” she demanded, intertwining her hands with Aaron’s.

“Oh, she’s my friend.”

“My name is Lilith,” she retorted, and the girl let out a disdainful scoff.

“Alice, that wasn’t very kind,” Aaron interjected, causing her to roll her eyes.

“What!? She looks like an old lady from the 1800s,” Alice remarked, eliciting laughter from the surrounding students directed at Lilith.

“Enough of that… Let’s go, Alice,” Aaron suggested, attempting to pull Alice away. However, she resisted his grip.

“What!? Don’t tell me you’re taking her side? She’s just a nobody. Look at how shabby her dress is,” Alice taunted, smirking at Lilith.

Lilith squared her shoulders, her expression filled with resolve as she faced Alice’s mocking remarks. She took a deep breath and responded with a sharp wit that caught the attention of the surrounding students.

“Well, Alice, at least my dress has character. Unlike yours, which seems to have been mass-produced in a factory of mediocrity,” Lilith retorted, her words dripping with sarcasm. The students erupted into laughter, finding amusement in Lilith’s clever comeback.

Embarrassed, Alice’s smirk faded, and she struggled to find a suitable retort. Aaron, seeing the situation escalating, intervened once again.

“Alright, that’s enough. Let’s just go, Alice,” he said firmly, finally managing to guide Alice away, putting an end to the uncomfortable confrontation.

Lilith walked away with a smirk which turned to a sad expression. She tried holding back her anger but it didn’t work, she just had to let it all out.

” Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!” She screamed loudly, hitting her leg on the wall. ” Ouch… my leg hurts” she muttered, holding her legs In pain.

” You okay?” She heard someone’s voice and she turned. ” Arizona?” She raised her brows and Arizona nodded.

” You face is so red, what’s wrong?” Arizona asked, trying to touch her face but she glared at her and she withdrew her hands.

” Why don’t you act like a kid…. You’re over matured” she hissed and sat down.

” I think it’s better that way, never to cry” Lilith said and rested her head on the wall. ” What are you doing here!?”

” I thought you had the ability to forsee the future, why are you asking me then?” She rolled her eyes and Lilith scoffed.

” I don’t always see the full vision, must times it’s blurry” she said and stood up. ” And yes, you’re here because you want to see the guy from the café shop, you’re supposed prince charming” Lilith said and Arizona jaw dropped wide open.

” What the Fuçk….” She cursed, watching Lilith as she walked away. ” That girl must be a witch… she’s so creepy” she mumbled to herself leaving.

She took out her lipstick and began applying it to her lips, gazing at her reflection in the glass wall of a restaurant. Lost in her own world, she smiled at her image, momentarily forgetting that she was at a public place.

Suddenly, she turned around and her heart skipped a beat as she found Landon standing right in front of her, wearing a wide grin.

“Wow, that’s quite a lot of lipstick,” he remarked, moving closer to her. With his thumb, he gently wiped away some excess, causing Arizona’s heart to race.

Feeling shy, she lowered her head and murmured, “Thank you,” her teeth tugging at her lower lip.

“Shall we go inside?” Landon suggested, reaching for her hands and leading her into the restaurant.

Lorraine had been confined to a secret room for several days, desperately attempting to find a way to escape, but all her efforts had been in vain.

She let out a soft sigh, resting her head against the wall. “I wish I never had a brother!” She half-yelled out of frustration.

“For how much longer will they keep me locked up here?” she mumbled, tears streaming down her cheeks.

“I’ve already learned my lesson. I’m sorry,” she pleaded, and suddenly, the door to the room swung open.

“Huh??” She sprang up, a smile spreading across her face as she realized the door was already unlocked.

She dashed out of the room and started running, determined to escape from her captors. It seemed like all the security doors had mysteriously opened for her.

She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, pushing herself beyond her limits. After about thirty minutes of sprinting, she came to a halt, gasping for breath.

“Ah…oh my goodness,” she gasped, clutching her chest. “I’m never going back to that house,” she declared, glancing back.

She heard a noise behind her and swiftly turned, finding someone standing there.

“Hey…take it easy, okay?” he said, gently taking a sharp stick from her hands.

She stepped back and threw away the stick. “What are you doing here?” she asked, curious about his presence.

“What are you doing here? I actually came here to find inner peace,” he replied, walking away, and Lorraine followed suit.

“What do you mean by ‘inner peace’?” she inquired, intrigued by his statement. He let out a short laugh.

“Actually…it’s a family matter…my older brother is a jerk,” he confessed, and Lorraine scoffed.

“Same…running away from home,” she admitted, nodding in agreement.

“They all want to control you, without ever considering your

Exactly! That’s the problem,” she stated. “You haven’t even told me your name yet,” she added.

“Oh, my apologies. I’m Jake,” he responded, and she nodded in acknowledgment.

They arrived at the riverside, and Jake settled himself on a corner stone.

“I often come here to enjoy some quiet time,” he mumbled as Lorraine took a seat beside him.

“It’s truly beautiful,” she expressed, gazing at the flowing river.

She sighed softly, allowing the gentle breeze to caress her, causing her hair to scatter across her face.

“The breeze seems to be keeping your hair from being free,” Jake remarked as he stood behind her.

He gently placed his cold hands on her body, surprising her with a slight shock. Carefully, he gathered her hair and tied it into a ponytail, leaving some strands framing her face.

“You look even more beautiful now,” he complimented, and she laughed in response.

” Hope you’re not troubled with me being here?” Draven asked, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

“Goodness…” Arizona facepalmed in exasperation.

“Arizona, allow me to properly introduce you. Meet my elder brother, Draven,” said Landon, and Arizona gasped audibly.

“Elder brother?” She repeated, stunned, and Landon nodded in confirmation.

“How is it possible for someone to possess such devilish characteristics?” she muttered under her breath, causing Landon to chuckle while Draven shot him a sharp glare.

Suddenly, Draven’s watch began beeping insistently. He checked it and his expression shifted.

“Lorraine…”

“What about Lorraine?” Landon inquired, curiosity evident in his voice.

Without wasting a moment, Draven swiftly stood up, prompting Landon and Arizona to follow suit.

“Um… Arizona, we’ll meet later, okay?” Landon attempted to move away, but she grabbed his arm, refusing to let go.

“No, I’m coming with you,” she insisted, determination evident in her voice. Landon let out a sigh of resignation.

“Fine, but you asked for it,” he replied, and with a swift motion, he pulled her closer to him. In an instant, they both vanished from sight.

Driven by the scent of Lorraine, Draven utilized his super speed to reach the precise location where she was. Lorraine lay unconscious, intensifying his anger.

Just as Jake attempted to sink his fangs into Lorraine’s neck, an unexpected interruption occurred.

Draven dashed with superhuman speed toward Jake, seizing his collar and flinging him forcefully into the distance. In an instant, Draven rapidly raced to the same spot where Jake landed, delivering a barrage of double kicks and punches.

Landon materialized alongside Arizona, causing her jaw to drop wide open in astonishment. Confusion clouded her eyes as she glanced around.

“Handsome devil isn’t human… my prince charming is…” she murmured, gazing up at Landon and locking eyes with him.

“It’s a complicated story,” Landon replied, also utilizing his super speed to reach Lorraine and scoop her up in his arms.

“Isn’t that handsome devil’s girlfriend?” Arizona inquired, recognizing Lorraine’s face.

After a considerable amount of time, Draven ensured that he thoroughly disfigured Jake’s face. Seating himself atop Jake, he playfully tapped on his head like a drum.

“Hey!!!… Are you truly a devil?” Arizona questioned, approaching Draven.

In an instant, she lost her footing and nearly tumbled into the river. However, Draven swiftly raced toward her, grabbing hold of her waist.

Slowly, Arizona opened her eyes, half-expecting to find herself immersed in the frigid water. But Draven had pulled her back just in time, causing her to gasp for breath.

Standing before her, he flicked his fingers, and suddenly, she collapsed unconscious, falling to the ground with a thud.
