THE RETURN OF THE WITCH

As soon as the plane landed in one of Spain’s prestigious airport.
They alighted the plane with Oliver ahead of her, she was about coming down too when surprisingly he stretched forth his hand and before she could stop him, he lifted her by the waist and down onto the solid ground.
This got Daisy very close to him, after what he told her back in the plane, she’s been finding ways not to get close to him but the more she did that, the more Oliver does his best to get close to her.
“Let’s go” he said lightly and taking hold of her hand, he pulled her into the airport and to the back exit where a chauffeur driven limo was waiting for them.
“Why are we taking the back exit?” She asked even as they settled into the car.
“Back at the airport, I noticed you were a bit frightened by the reporters and so not wanting the same thing to happen, I arranged for us to take the back exit. Good right?” He asked pushing back a strand of her hair and slowly she nodded feeling flattered that he had gone through all of this for her.
“What’s the place we are going to stay going to be like?” She asked wanting to distract him from her.
“Well it’s a old ranch that have been in our family for ages. The king first generation was gifted the house by the country because he had help greatly during the world war and since then it’s been handed down to the upcoming generation” he explained.
“Tell me more” she suggested and he willingly told her.
“The first lady that was brought into the ranch was made to walk over some thorns” he said softly.
“Thorns?” Daisy asked gasping softly.
“Yes. It’s a custom that every new bride coming into the ranch should walk on thorns to show how much they love their husband and how they are going to treasure the ranch” Oliver added while her face screw up in distaste and fear.
“That’s bad. Why must the women get to suffer just to prove their love to their husband” Daisy asked.
“Don’t forget that they are also proving to everyone that they will treasure the house too ” He said.
“Wh@tëver! That act is just abominal. Do you think I will be told to do the same thing?” She asked, her naiveness showing plainly on her face and not being able to hold back his restraint, Oliver burst into laughter.
“You truly are gullible ” he said taking hold of her cheek while he smiled down at her and Daisy couldn’t help but to notice how handsome he look with the smile on his face.
“It’s all a lie, well not all of it but the thorn part was a lie. You are too easy to decieve” he muttered even as he let her go.
“That’s because you seemed genuine with what you said ” she stated.
“Is that so? Then it’s best that you don’t trust people’s word other mine, okay” he said watching her intently and she kept starring at him until he bent and kissed her swiftly on the lips.
“I don’t want you trusting a crazy fellow and getting hurt” he added even as he held onto her hand.
Daisy kept quiet until they got to the lab, she felt her heart pounding crazily at what he said to her.
Her heart was still beating that way when they got to the ranch.
She was too busy calming down the fast beat of her heart to notice the beautiful interior and exterior of the ranch and even when Granny Soledad came to welcome them, she was still stuck in her thoughts to reply properly to granny questions.
And when Granny Soledad asked her what was up, she blamed it on the jet lag and not on the devastating man who was standing beside her with his arms around her.
“Then it’s best you rest before dinner, take her to get some sleep Olive” Granny Soledad said and though she protested, Oliver took her up to his room.
“Now get some sleep and don’t worry, I will surely send a maid to wake you for dinner” he said gathering her in his arms.
“Oliver you…..”
“Shhhh….don’t say anything and just get some sleep” he said kissing her again before letting go of her and leaving the room.
Daisy felt more troubled than before and wanting to talk to someone, she called Oprah but she didn’t pick.
She was still dialing Oprah number when Monica called.
“And how’s the most loveliest bride?” Monica said cheerfully making her smile a little.
“In a dilemma” Daisy replied slowly.
“Why? Have my brother been a pain in the @$$?”
“No, he’s been the opposite of it” Daisy said explaining further about her brother behaviour.
“Well, I expected him to do that after talking to him this morning” Monica said.
“What did you tell him?” Daisy asked.
“That he’s a fool for holding onto the past and that he should let it go and try to find love with you….and also I told him that he’d be missing the greatest woman of all if he threw what he had with you away. I think that is working” Monica said.
“So you mean that he….”
“That my brother have finally realize his feelings. The fool is in love with you”Monica squeek in excitement while Daisy find that hard to believe but after recalling Oliver actions, the puzzle began to getting clearer.
“So enjoy your time there with him, love you” Monica said before ending the call.
Daisy wondered if Oliver truly love her like Monica said and she was still wondering when she doze off.
She woke some hour later and on seeing the time, she dashed off to the rest room to prepare for dinner.
While having her bathe, she kept thinking about Oliver and his feelings towards her.
She still had that in mind when she walk back into the bed room only to see a black evening gown and a bit of jewelry on the bed and added to it was a note.

She smiled and was still smiling as she put on the clothes and jewelry.
If Oliver actions is sincere, she should be willing to meet him half way after all she’s into him as much as he is with her, she thought going downstairs.
That smile was still on her face when she found the dinner room but it soon disappeared when she heard a soft feminine laughter.
That voice sound familiar to her, she thought as she push open the door and her assumption was correct.
The voice is familiar and that’s only because it belong to Gianna.
The witch is finally back, Daisy thought.
