DANGEROUS TROUBLE
Leonel flipped through the pages of the spell book and a smile played at the corner of his lips. He remembered earlier and he couldn’t help but laugh. He was actually glad, so glad that he was moving on.
Leonel sighed and looked down at the spell book.
“I will do all I can to make sure the prophecy doesn’t come to pass. I’ll do everything in my power even if making them fallin love is the key” He thought.

Anna glared angrily and sighed. She took out an apple and then a knife and began slicing it
“That monster!” She exclaimed and face palmed herself as she remembered earlier.
FLASHBACK
Axel took slow steps away from her and smiled.
“You almost got me there blue eyes..” He said and Anna furrowed her brows.
“What? What do you mean?” She asked and Axel moved back to her smiling. He touched her hair.
“You kissed me in order to calm me down right?” He asked and Anna looked away almost immediately as her cheeks reddened immediately.
Axel smiled and caressed her hair the more.
“You succeeded in calming me down but..” He said leaning closer to her and Anna looked up immediately causing their faces to touch.
“You will stopped from going to that college of yours..” He said and her eyes widened. Axel smiled and pulled away from her.
“What? Wait!” She said running to him but he moved backwards.
“Just so you know, if you come to plead again. It’s gonna infuriate me further and it’s going to make rethink of not hurting your little boyfriend!” He said and Anna scoffed.
“I h@të you!” She growled at him.
“Yeah? I can see how much you h@të me? You practically initiated the kiss earlier..” He said and Anna glared at him.
“Come on, don’t give me that look blue eyes, it makes my heart palpitatate” He said and without another word being said, he vanished into thin hair.
“d@mn you Vampire!”
END OF FLASHBACK
“Anna!” A loud growl was heard behind her and she turned back to bump into someone’s hard chest.
She moved backwards and then looked up to see the person.
“Axel!” She called but immediately grabbed her right hand and lo and behold, her thumb was bleeding badly.
Anna gasped. She never felt anything not at all.
“I warned you to be careful, didn’t I?” He says as he checked the wound.
“I didn’t even know. You’re not hurt are you?” She asked with her voice laced with concern.
“You h@të me right so why asking?” He asked staring at her and then looked form at her wound. He brought her thumb closer to his lips and blew air on it and immediately it stopped bleeding and the wound closed up.
He made to go but then she grab his forearm and he sighed again.
“What do you want?” He asked coldly.
“I..”
“Fine. Do wh@tëver you want..” He breathed out.

She began running. They were after her. Those evil creatures. Those evil Vampires. What did they want from her.
“Help me!” Anna yelled running more faster. The growls coming from those strange creatures were loud enough.
“Dad! Mum! Someone please help me!” She yelled as she continued to run more faster without looking back but not until she fell on the ground.
“No!” She screamed and within seconds, the creatures were gathered round her, surrounding her. She stared at them glaring at her with their red eyes and white sharp fangs and they began to move closer to her.
“No, no stay away!” She yelled.
“Stay away!”
She closed her eyes and clenched her fists. Unknown to her, her claws lengthened and she opened her eyes which was already golden yellow.
“STAY AWAY!” She yelled and almost immediately a sharp blinding light immediately came out of nowhere and the Vampires started to growl. Anna opened her eyes and looked around. She could only see the dead bodies of the Vampires turning into ash.
She heaved a sigh of relief and stood up.
“Don’t think you are free yet!” A feminine voice’s echoed.
“Goodbye!” The voice said and laughed wickedly and before she could comprehend what’s was happening.
She heard a male groaning and she turned back and gasped. Blood splattered on the ground. She looked up and saw an arrow pierced through his back.
“Noo!” She screamed and knelt beside him.
“NOOOO!” She screamed and broke down into uncontrollably tears and as she was about to look at his face.
Anna sprang up from the bed panting heavily as she looked around trying to process what had just happened in her head.
Sudden she heard a deep cold voice.
“Was it a nightmare?”
She froze and immediately turned to see him. He was sitting on a sofa not too far from her owner she bit her lower lip gently.
He stood up slowly and walked towards her as she held unto the duvets tightly. He came closer to her and brought his head closer to her.
“You look so frightened blue eyes, I can tell that it’s a nightmare” He whispered and she looked up at him causing their faces to be more closer. He smiled and then sat beside her before raising his hand to pat her long blonde hair.
Anna stilled for a second shocked, not knowing what to do.
His long slender fingers caressed her hair and he whispered.
“Go to sleep now, blue eyes..” He said softly and Anna looked at him again. Words refused to form from her mouth.
“Axel, I…” She paused when she noticed that she was getting drowsy.
Nevertheless she shook her head and spoke again.
“Axel, you can do…” She stopped again as her eyelids closed again.
“Don’t force it, go to sleep” He said again and she lay back on the bed gently and she closed her eyes and soon she was fast asleep.
Axel sighed and removed his mask staring at her now directly.
“She’s different and there’s a strange aura of power coming from her..” He muttered and then stood up. Without another word being said, he vanished out of sight.
Soon the dark clouds disappeared and everywhere was bright again. Morning came so quickly.
Anna yawned and opened her eyes smiling brightly.
“Mum, Dad, good morning” She said and then tied up her hair. She stretched her body and then stood up before walking into the bathroom. She was glad that she had the chance to go to college again.
Soon she was done and dressed up a little bit moderately. She wouldn’t want her overprotective husband to flare up again.
She picked up her bag and rushed downstairs and fortunately for her, her ruthless husband wasn’t found anywhere including Leonel.
She smiled and was about to go out when Leonel rushed out to her out of nowhere. She flinched startled but sighed out of relief when she saw that it was Leonel.
“You startled me!” She exclaimed and held her chest in relief and Leonel smiled and patted her head.
“Are you set to go college?” He asked and she nodded with smiles..
“Cool, remember you have to stay off that guy” He said as they walked out and Anna nodded.
“But why is Axel like that?” She asked Leon and he smiled.
“How..”
“You know he’s sometimes unpredictable, sometimes he’s cool, other times he’s harsh and Gosh! He’s so frustrating!” She said and hit her forehead with her palm and Leon chuckled.
“He’s your husband so you have to bear with him” Leonel said and she smiled.

The ride to college was not so boring. Anna found out that Leon was not also boring as she thought. He was far more interesting than her supposed husband but come to think of it, she has never spent so much time with him. Her life was practically boring with him. The only interesting moment was when they kissed.
She couldn’t deny the fact that he was a good kisser. Yeah, he was d@mn good.
Her eyes widened when it dawned on her what she was thinking. She immediately face palmed herself.
“Why am I having shameless thoughts?” She questioned herself.
“We are here..” Leonel said jolting her out of her thoughts.
“Thanks..” She said and came down from the car.
“I’ll be back to pick you up!” He told her and she nodded despite the fact that she didn’t approve of it but that was the least she could do not to make her husband angry.
She waved at him and walked into the college hoping she doesn’t meet the guy whom she met yesterday. The Connor guy!
Leonel sighed as he watched her walk in. He picked up his phone and dailed Axel’s number immediately.
“She’s already in college” He said.
“Good, make sure you keep a close eye on her and make sure they are on standby!” He ordered and Leon nodded.
“Of course..” He responded.

Anna walked into the class and met the lecturer already teaching. She found an empty seat at the back and she found her way to it seating on it.
Breathing out in relief, she brought out her books but then froze when she heard that voice.
“Hey Anna!”
Anna bit her lower lip contemporary on what to do however she turned to face him and she smiled at him.
“Connor..” She waved but then she noticed his face was full of bruises.
“How did you get hurt?!” She asked worriedly.
“Oh this! I got beaten by some guys when I was searching for my sister. It’s nothing!” Connor explains with a shrug.
“Ooh!” She mouthed.
“Actually since we are not so well off, my sister and I work our sweat out everyday but then she went missing a week ago and I’m suspicious of her best friend, he’s interested in her hug she likes someone else but my sister’s blind to this since she trust him” He revealed and Anna sighed feeling so much pity for him.
“After classes, I’ll go on looking for my sis..” He concluded and Anna nodded.
“Poor boy!” She thought.
SAME DAY. 2:05PM
Anna walked out of the class. The day was hectic as different lectures were coming in and out. She was about going when she remembered that she forgot her one of her notes. She turned back immediately but then bumped into Connor who seemed in a rush.
“Oh sorry! I’m just in a hurry..” He breathed out heavily.
“Actually I just received news that my sister is actually close by so I need to go get her..” He explained.
“Hey, wait, what if you get hurt?” She asked worriedly.
“I don’t know, I actually need a companion but so sad there’s no one to help me!” He pouted and Anna’s heart ached.
“Where’s the place?” She asked.
“It’s actually very nearby!” He said and she smiled.
“Come on, I’ll help you!” She said and his eyes brightened.
“Really?” He asked and she nodded.
“Come on, let’s go, let’s go through the backdoor so we can get there on time!” He offered and she nodded immediately and ran out with him.
