“Mum, please make dad understand. I can’t live without Axel. He’s just confused at the moment. He will get back to his senses soon..” Anna said hipcupping in tears.
“Shut up!” Darrell yelled angrily. His eyes were already golden yellow.
“I’ve told you to shut it already, young lady. You need to have some respect for yourself. You should have your self worth!” He yelled at her.
“It’s obvious that he chose his mate, his first love over you. Moreover you told me, you have no mate bond. Maybe he just acted on his impulse. He was never in love with you and that’s the plain truth. You have to accept it!” He yelled and Anna Anna broke down crying bitterly.
“No, dad. Stop saying it. It hurts..” She said in tears. Darrell sighed. He got to her and he hugged her tightly.
“Dad..” She whispered crying harder.
“That’s the truth. You have to accept it dear. It’s true. First love never dies. I experienced that with your mum..” He says and Anna cried harder. Her eyes were now puffy.
“Anna, you have to forget about him..” He said and kissed her forehead.
A loud thud was heard and they all turned back to see Axel.
“Axel..” Anna mumbled and Darrell clenched his fists angry. In a second, he was already in front of Axel and before anyone could predict what was going to happen next. He punched him hard on his lips. Anna and Mia gasped immediately.
Even if it would heal eventually. At least he should get to feel the pain he caused his daughter.
“What are you doing here?!” Darrell yelled and grabbed him by his collar.
“What about your mate? Are you happy with her? After you are done using my daughter?” He said angrily.
“You got it all wrong. I love your daughter so much. I love her with my life and I can do anything for her..” He said and Darrell’s grip loosened on his collar.
FLASHBACK.
“I can’t even bare looking into your eyes cause I feel like choking you..” He said and removed his hand from hers.
“Wh@tëver we had was in the past. I love someone else. And I love her very much..” He said and turned to leave.
“Wait, Wait…” Elena said and held his wrists.
“You can h@të me all you want but please forgive me..” She added and he turned back. He smirked and removed her hand on her wrist.
“Maybe, I will do so in the future..” He said and then he vanished away.
END OF FLASHBACK.
“I came back for your daughter. I really love her. I can even risk my life for her..” He said and then Darrell left him.
“I’m really sorry. I’m really sorry Axel..” Darrell said and hugged him.
Axel broke the hug and looked at Anna.
He smiled and took slow steps towards her.
Anna’s lips was still trembling. Axel got to her and then he cupped her cheeks.
“I’m really sorry for making you cry. I’m really sorry..” He said and wiped her tears.
“I really thought you were going to leave me for her..” She said with tears.
“You foolish girl..” He said and poked her head lightly.
“You thought I would leave you for her. Never. I’ll never try that in my life..” He said and bumped their foreheads together.
“I love you very much..” He said and caressed her cheeks.
“I love you too..” She replied and rubbed their noses together. Darrell and Mia watched them with smiles.
“Finally, I’m at ease now..” He said and they both giggled.
“Let’s continue spreading the love..” He winked at her and then carried her in a bridal style. Mia’s eyes widened.
“What are you doing?” She snapped at him but the both of them vanished.
