Maya kept quite watching them ran with the money some few steps. Unluckily for them their foots stiff they couldn’t move a step again.
” what have you done to us” one of the criminal exclaimed.
” I hope you needed money just go with it”

” we cannot move” one of them screamed.
” that is not my business ”
” please help us, just take your money we don’t want it” other criminal said. Maya took the money from him.
” just stay calm so that you learn not to steal from people ” She said and walked away.

“What kept you so long dear” Maya’s mum asked.
” I saw two ambushed men trying steal from me so I ran to the nearest compound for safety ” Maya said.
” Thank God, they didn’t hurt you ”
” No o mum, I ran as my legs could carry me”
” I hope he gave all the money lend from me”
” yes mum”
” okay, come and eat your meal”

Joan moved to Maya’s position after a long stare.
” Hello girl” Joan said.
” Hello! ” Maya replied, Sharon just walked in.
” why did you went home yesterday without waiting for us”
” is there anything you are hidding from us” Sharon put in.
” what do you mean girls” she close her book.
” you went home without letting us know after walking out from Rollins” Joan said.
” wait a minutes,what did Rollins did to you? ”
” girls you are asking much questions. Which one should I start from ”

” I went home so that Rollins would not see me talking to me”
” so what about him? ” Joan asked.
” Jennifer thought I have anything to do with him, so i’ve to avoid him. And Rollins wanna be my friend ”

” you don’t understand girls. He’s dating Jennifer and he can’t even repudiate it”

” my issue right now is not Rollins, its Jennifer. That girl is upto something”
