“Wish me good luck” Cheng said smiling at Waylon. He was getting prepared to leave the palace.
“There’s nothing to wish you good luck on, because Tatiana loves you already” Waylon said.
“Thanks Waylon”
“Enough with the thanking and get a wiggle on” Waylon said, patting Cheng’s shoulder.
Cheng smiles and was about leaving the room, when he felt sting of pains in his heart.
“Ouch!” He groans holding his chest.
“Are you all right Cheng?” Waylon asked.
“My heart suddenly hurts” Cheng said, bearing the pains in his heart.
“Why is it suddenly aching?”
“I… I think Tatiana is in danger” Cheng said, he closed his eyes searching for where Tatiana could be, by tracing her scent.
Then he sees Zelda pouring sands in a pit with Tatiana inside it, and he could hear her begging and pleading with Zelda to stop, but Zelda ignored her pleadings.
“He is going to pay dearly for hurting Tiana” He said with rage of anger, and he teleported out of the room, shocking the living day light out of Waylon.
“Did… Did he just teleport?” Waylon muffed to himself.

Tatiana’s crying voice could loudly be heard, as Zelda continued pouring more sands inside the pit. But no matter how loud she shouted, no one could hear her, because it was an isolated area.
“Please stop what you are doing, I beg of you” Tatiana said crying, as the sand was reaching her waist level.
“Don’t worry Tatiana, we are going to have a happy ever after in our next life” Zelda said like a lunatic.
He was pouring more sand when Cheng teleported in his front and punch him so hard on his face, and Zelda fell the ground.
Cheng raised his hand, and Tatiana slowly began to come out from the deep pit, and Cheng wrapped his hands around her immediately she came out from the pit.
“Are you all right Tiana?” He asked, but Tatiana broke into tears.
“I thought I was going to die” She said crying, and her tears angered Cheng the more. He looked at Zelda and saw him running away.
Cheng teleported to his front, and Zelda staggered and fell to the ground.
“Who ever gave you the right to hurt my bride!!” He yells at him, speaking in six voices.
Zelda tries to run away, but Cheng used his magic powers to drag him back, chocking his neck. Cheng’s eyes were burning in rage of anger, as his eyes were red like smokey ashes.
“No one dares hurts my bride and stays alive” Cheng said with a voice filled with anger.
He threw Zelda away like stick, Zelda flew and landed his back on a wall, and some particulars of the wall fell on him, Cheng didn’t stop there, he went to where he was and grabbed his neck.
“Die” He said pressing Zelda’s neck so aggressively. He was bleeding from his nostrils, but Cheng wasn’t ready to let go of him.
The more he remembered how Zelda almost buried his Tiana alive, the more angry he became.
Tatiana sensing that Zelda was going to die if Cheng continues choking his neck, quickly rushed to them.
“Let go of him Cheng” She said in a hiccupping tone. Although she has stopped crying, but she hasn’t digested the fact that Zelda almost buried her alive, all because of his obsession for her.
“He has to die for attempting to bury you alive” Cheng said, not willing to let go of Zelda.
“Please let him go Cheng. I’m okay now, please I beg of you, let go of him” Tatiana said.
But Cheng didn’t release his grip from Zelda’s neck. Instead of Cheng to release him, he tighten his hand on Zelda’s neck. He just want to finish him up, for trying to kill the woman he loves so much.
“Cheng I know you are angry, but please reconsider your decision of killing him. You don’t want to be titled as a demon who killed someone because of his dark powers, right?” Tatiana asked.
“I don’t want you to become a murderer again because of me, so please let go of him” She said sobbing in tears.
The sobbing sounds coming from Tatiana, made Cheng unwilling let go of Zelda, and Zelda fell to the ground coughing.
If it was up to him, he’d have ended the life of Zelda, but he couldn’t do it because his bride was begging him to stop.
“Thank you Cheng” Tatiana said.
Cheng looked at her, and diverted his gaze to Zelda, who was still trying to caught up with his breathe. He looked half-dead.
“Just because I spared your life doesn’t mean I will let what you did to my bride slide” Cheng said with rage of anger.
Cheng raised his eyebrows a little bit, and Zelda automatically went blind. The world because dark to him, and he couldn’t see anything like he used to.
Zelda continues cleaning his eyes with the back of his eyes, but yet he couldn’t see a dime, all that surrounded him was nothing but darkness.
“I can’t see, I can see anything, what did you do to me?” Zelda asked with a crying voice.
“This is the price who have to pay for hurting the demon’s bride. You will forever be blind, until death chose to take you to the afterlife” Cheng said.
He snapped his fingers and Zelda teleported to a world unknown.
“Where did you take him?” Tatiana asked.
“I exiled him out of Maelstrom, to a place where he won’t have the chance to interact with humans” Cheng said.
“Isn’t it too much? He can’t see anymore” Tatiana said.
“He should thank his stars that he’s not dead. If not for you, I’d have ended his life. But since I didn’t kill him, he has to live the rest of his remaining days on earth in misery.
“But Cheng…”
“I told you before right? That I don’t mind using my dark powers to hurt those that tried to cause you pain” Cheng said and Tatiana smiles.
“Why did you leave the palace without telling me?” Cheng asked, and Tatiana takes in her bottom lip.
“I am sorry Cheng, I thought I could trust Zelda that’s why I left the palace with him, without telling you. I’m sorry” Tatiana apologize.
Cheng sighs and wrapped his arms around her waist. “Is okay Tiana. What matters is that you are fine now” He said removing the strand of her hair.
“But how were you able to know where I was?” Tatiana asked.
“My heart always aches in pain anytime you are in danger”
“Really?”
“Yes Tiana. And I am always able to know where you are because I know your scent. You are the only one I can find no matter where you are” Cheng said.
“Really? Why?”
“Because you’re my one and only Tiana, and you’re the demon’s bride” Cheng said and Tatiana smiled.
Cheng squatted in front of her, and Tatiana furrowed her eyebrows.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
“Get on my back, I will give you a piggyback” He said.
“But I thought you said you have something to tell at the particular spot we met ten years ago?”
“I know. That’s why I’m asking you to get on my back, we should go there together”.
“Are you sure about giving me a piggyback, I have a lot of weight”.
“There’s nothing a demon can’t handle, so get a wiggle on, before I change my mind” Cheng said and Tatiana quickly hop on his back.
“Did you call this weight? You’re just as light as a passing air” Cheng said, and Tatiana hits his head.
“Should I drop you down since you have the strength to hit someone?”
“No” Tatiana said, tightening her arms on his neck.
“I wasn’t planning on doing so” Cheng said with a smile on his face. He adjust Tatiana properly on his back, and began walking towards the woods they first met, years ago.
