They all turned in the direction of the voice to see Cyprus standing there
“Back off,” Hunter suddenly yelled and stood in front of Kalinda blocking her
Cyprus chuckled and took steady steps into the house, he stopped just a few inches away from Hunter before looking at Kalinda
“She’s dying can’t you see it? I have to take her home just so she will get better,” Cyprus said gently
They all exchanged glances
“I was nearly eaten by the night wolves and now you’re gonna take her,” Camilla said more like a question
“What if she didn’t want to go with you,” she added and everyone looked at her before taking their gaze to Cyprus
“Well that decision will be made after treating her, but right now she’s coming with me,” Cyprus replied and took another step forward
Hunter also took a step forward
“You’re not taking her anywhere,” Hunter said boldly, he clenched his fist tightly staring him directly in the eyes
Viola left her position and stood beside Hunter
“I agree,” she said and Camilla came forward
“Me too,” Camilla said and Xavier also came forward
“You would have to take us first before taking her,” Xavier said with seriousness
Cyprus threw his head backward and laughed
“I wasn’t asking,” he said and they kept quiet
“Move away now that am still being nice,” Cyprus said and they stood their ground
“AHHH,” Hunter was the first to attack him
Cyprus smirked and just when Hunter was about to hit him an invisible force threw him outside throw the window
“Argh!!!” came his scream
“You son of a Bîtch,” Xavier shouted and drown his sword
Cyprus shifted back a little as Xavier charged towards him at high speed, just when Xavier was about to stab him an invisible hand gripped his neck and pinned him in midair, choking him
Viola threw a lightening ball at Cyprus but it stopped right before him, Cyprus looked at her and laughed
“Dark energy, a witch,” he said waving his hand, a heavy wind carried Viola throwing her outside instantly too
“Get out of my house,” Hunter shouted from outside, he rushed towards Cyprus but with just a wave of his hand Cyprus threw him far away
Hunter fell heavy coughing instantly, he dragged himself up and went after Cyprus who was now outside
“I see you want to die,” Cyprus said
“you’re the one to die,” Hunter ranted and Cyprus smirked
“And who will kill me, You?” he asked and Hunter cleaned the blood stain on his mouth before answering
“Yes me,” he replied and Cyprus burst out laughing
“Oh, don’t be ridiculous, Your powers are limited where I am,” Cyprus said and laughed sarcastically
“We will see,” Hunter shouted and rushed toward him
Cyprus create a lightening ring and threw it at him, Hunter ducked it and jumped up with a sword in his hand, just when he was about to give Cyprus a cut the lightening ring came back and knocked him down
“Arghhhhhh!” he groans in pain
Meanwhile, Camilla ran back to Kalinda who was still lying lifelessly on the wooden bed, she shook Kalinda’s body vigorously but get no response from her
“Wake up….. wake up…. wake up…. I nearly died while trying to get this night wisps and yet you’re not awake, right now Cyprus is trying to kill everyone and carry you to his place,” Camilla said, she looked out to throw the window to see Xavier hanged in midair, his hand holding his neck.
An invisible hand was choking him
Viola wasn’t left out, blood was rolling down her nostrils her eyeballs red, and her neck turning sideways, Hunter was hanged in midair with Cyprus’s palm wide open
His eyes glow with light as he chokes them
Camilla took her gaze back to Kalinda with tears rolling down her eyes
“Please wake up and stop him, please, he’s gonna kill everyone and it’s only you that can stop him, please wake up,” Camilla hiccuped, shaking Kalinda’s body
She rested her head on Kalinda’s stomach with her hand gently placed on her head and her other hand placed on her thighs, her crying voice covered the whole room making Matilda come out of her room
Matilda froze on her sport immediately she saw Cyprus and the condition of her child Hunter together with others, she looked at Kalinda who was not attempt to wake up before going outside but hadn’t gotten to the door when a blue light sparkled all over the room
Matilda stopped and looked back, Camilla lifted her head and looked at Kalinda, the night wisps on her neck were still there but it’s blue light was fading away, and the big red line around Kalinda’s neck returned to normal
Kalinda slowly opened her eyes to see Camilla staring at her with her eyes wide open, tears rolling down her cheeks, Camilla sniffed before cleaning the tears in her eyes with the back of her palm, she sniffed again
“What happens?” Kalinda asked and sat up, almost immediately Camilla pulled her into a tight hug
She smiled lightly before hugging her back, stroking Camilla’s hair that was resting on her shoulder
“I was so scared, I thought you were gonna die and then Cyprus came demanding to take you away but Xavier, Hunter, and that lady I don’t know her name. They tried to stop him…..”
“No, he’s gonna kill them,” Kalinda didn’t let her finish her statement, she disengaged from the hug and went down from the bed instantly
Putting on her clothes that were by the bedside she hurried to the door
“Where are they? I need to find them if not he will kill them,” Kalinda added and looked outside threw the Hunter
“Outside,” Camilla shouted cos she was already heading to the door

Cyprus fling Viola away and she went crashing to the wall, coughing out blood instantly, he fing Xavier away and he fell heavily hitting his head against a stone
“AHHH,” Xavier screamed agonizing
“let…. me… go,” Hunter’s words broke into pieces as Cyprus choke him
“Why should I? you wanted to fight didn’t you?” Cyprus asked, he tightened his grip around Hunter’s neck even without touching him
A sudden combat knife went straight into his back and he turned around with rage, a lightning ball in his hand, who dare stab him in the back?
As if that wasn’t enough another one came straight to his face but he caught it before it could touch his skin, immediately his hand touched the combat knife he chuckled
“My lady,” Cyprus called staring at Kalinda who is walking up to him
He fold his fist and Hunter fell heavily, with blood gushing out from his mouth
“I wanted to help you but they didn’t let me,” Cyprus said and almost immediately Kalinda slapped him hard across the face, she raise her hand to slap him again but he caught her hand pulling her closer
“Are you still mad?” he asked calmly, it was as if the slap did nothing to him but she left her fingerprints on his cheek
Kalinda went closer, they were so close that there is no space left between them
“Stay away from me, taking away what I love most wasn’t enough and now you also want to kill the important people in my life….”
“Baby I was just mad, besides these people asked for it, I told them that I didn’t want any trouble but they attacked me first,” he cut in staring from one person to another
Kalinda pushed him away and went to Hunter, she looked at him for a while before helping him up, Xavier was already inside with Camilla while Matilda helped Viola into the house
Kalinda and Hunter walked towards the house and Cyprus went closer to her
“Baby please marry me, I need you back into my life, please. I went to the underworld but I didn’t see him,” Cyprus said
Kalinda ignored him
“Baby, come on, I tried to kill you but I didn’t right? We can still make things right,” Cyprus said shouted
“Stay away from me, it’s very simple,” Kalinda said dryly and went inside slamming the door in his face
Cyprus roughed his hair in frustration and sighed
“I will get you back no matter what it takes, even if it means taking that boy out of the picture then I will do it,” he mumbled, imagining hunters dead body
