“Where is she? Where is that witch?” Jasmine shouted, she went over to Hunter’s house banging her fist on the door as if trying to break it down

“How dare you tell me to shut up,” Jasmine ranted, she stood in front of Minerva pointing her fingers at her
Minerva looked at her right-hand side and her guards step forward
“Take her back to her place,” she said in a commanding tone
Two guards went over to Jasmine one of them carried her up and threw her on his shoulder walking way
“Put me down, I’m a noblewoman, how dare you touch me? My husband will hear of this, I will deal with you all just wait for me,” Jasmine shouted
“show is over,” Minerva said to the crowd of people watching and everyone started leaving
Hunter’s mother slowly opened the door and Minerva went closer
“I demand an explanation,” Minerva said with a straight face, staring directly into her eyes

“Kalinda, are you alright?” Camilla walked up to her and asked
Kalinda looked at her with a blank face
“Yeah, am fine,” she replied gently
“I may not be a listener like him or a witch but the woman can tell that you’re not say the truth,” Camilla said and Kalinda licked her lower lips then looked down
She gently raised her head and looked at Camilla
“I miss my family, I mean my mom, if it weren’t for me she would still be alive,” she said sadly staring at Camilla

Kalinda scoffed, she picked up a rock and threw it at a tree in the woods
“I wasn’t the best child any mother would wish to have, breaking all the rules and doing the things that upset her,” she replied, she looked at Kalinda
“I blamed her for bringing me into this world just to suffer,” she chuckled and licked her lips
“You have no idea what it feels like knowing that you will die, I was once a good girl until she told me that I’m destined to die, that’s when everything changed. she help other people get better but she couldn’t help me, her child. Instead she said it was my destiny, I went out of my way trying to make her life miserable, I did many things she h@të, dating the supreme god of immortals even knowing that she doesn’t like him, isn’t it funnily crazy,” Kalinda said, she smiled lightly licking her lower lips

Camilla was silent for a while
“Am not sure love makes a person weak Kalinda!” Camilla said and Kalinda blinked twice and looked away
“I deserve to die, I killed my mom cos if it wasn’t for me she wouldn’t have left her temple in a hurry and be overpowered by king Tyrone, but before I die i only wish for one thing,” she stopped and Camila went closer

“To see him, Chad, I just wanna touch him again and call him my baby,” she didn’t know when that left her mouth
Camilla’s eyes widened but she quickly put herself together, pulling Kalinda into a tight hug
“It’s not your fault, you were just a kid and you thought she was punishing you for going against her rules,” Camilla said gently still hugging her
“Do you know what she said to me when she died?”

Kalinda disengaged from the hug, a weak smile on her face
“Forget everything I just said, it’s just a made up story,” She lied and walked away

“Do you have a name?” Jefferson asked the little boy who was eating
“Blackberry sauce, that’s my name,” he replied rudely

“Yeah rang it as a bell, mother Terrisa, the oldest woman history has ever recorded, old wagon, old mount, old Jefferson of the oldest of the olden old, the old man himself, no old himself, look at his mouth like old,” the boy said rudely, he scoffed and rolled his eyes
Jefferson’s eyes widened
“Are you seriously talking to me?” Jefferson couldn’t believe it, how dare he talk to him in such a manner?
“No, am talking to your soul cos talking to you is a waste of effort the same way you’re wasting your feeling for someone that will never look at you twice, just lemme eat this food in peace I don’t want any trouble, old man!!!” he replied and Jefferson’s eyes widen
He looked around before taking his gaze to the boy then he looked at Viola
“Did he just say all that to me?” he asked, he was shocked
Viola nodded gently
“That’s enough we have to leave,” Kalinda’s voice came from the other end
“I need to rest after eating all this,” the boy replied pointing at the empty bowl
“We don’t have enough time, we need to keep moving….” Hunter was still saying but a glare from the boy shut him up
“ I wasn’t talking to you,” he snapped
Kalinda started walking toward in in rage
“You know, I have heard enough of your bullSh|t if you talk to him in that manner again…..”
“She’s trying to kill me… I saw it, she’s gonna kill me, help!!!!!!” he yelled loudly shifting backward
Kalinda stopped and exhaled
“She’s not gonna kill you, that’s just her thought, it doesn’t mean that she’s actually gonna do it, ” Camilla said gently
“People think and people do, I can’t read her mind but I can see it,” he shouted
“Well some people think about it but they don’t actually do it,” Viola added and he rolled his eyes
He folds his hand across his chest staring into the sky, it wasn’t long before his expression change, his body started shaking as hot sweat run down his face
“He’s coming… danger is coming I have to leave,” he suddenly shouted
Everyone exchanged glances
“He’s coming, evil eyes is coming,” he added running away
Hunter and Xavier went after him
Jefferson double cross him from the other end and grabbed his hand
“Lemme go, evil eyes is coming,” he shouted trying to break free
Kalinda, Camilla, and Viola were shocked and confused at his attitude
“Who is evil eyes?” Xavier asked, Hunter swung him to his back going over to the others
“He’s gonna kill me, evil eyes is gonna kill me, lemme go,” he shouted, his hand hitting against Hunter’s back, kicking with his legs
“Be quiet, no one is gonna kill you,” Jefferson said to him
“You don’t know evil eyes, he’s gonna kill me, let me go jackass! The Empress never treat me this way, she pampered me like an egg, the prince of Asia gave me my own bed, Baron Davis pampered me more than he pampered his wives, Lord…….”
“Shut up!!!” Hunter shouted, he was already tired of the boy
“Not until you let me go, I just wanna go he’s coming… He’s gonna kill me, he doesn’t like children with powers,” He shouted, his hand hitting Hunter back
“Why would he want to kill you,” Hunter asked
“Because the woman in my dreams said that he detests children and that he will kill me once he sees me, don’t take me back, he’s gonna kill me,” he shouted, without thinking twice
His fixed his teeth at Hunters neck giving him a deep bite
“AHhhh,” Hunter let out a loud scream and put him down when he felt the boys sharpe teeth on his neck
The boy started running again and they went after him, he haven’t taken up to five steps when Cyprus appeared in front of him, looking all dangerous
A dangerous smirk lingered on his face as he took steady steps forward…
