“Answer me Isobel!”Oliver demanded from the quiet Isobel
“Yes! Am leaving because of my sickness” Isobel replied.
“This is all a lie. Did my father put you up to it! Did he threaten you with something? Tell me Isobel. Don’t leave me in the dark” Oliver demanded.
“Your father didn’t put me up to it! I had that test before we met again. I was injured while having a part-time job and i went to the hospital to get treated only to be told about my illness. Your father seemed to know someone at the hospital and he happened to see me there. You can confirm at the hospital but that isn’t important now”Isobel said
“The important thing now is that I leave”Isobel added.
“You aren’t leaving! I won’t let that hap……”
“Don’t you see that am going to die. I have luekemia. I didn’t detect it on time so I can get the necessary cure. I did at a late time and am going to die”She said cutting him off.
“You aren’t going to die! We will find a way to get you cured. We will visit the best doctor and…..”
“I don’t want that! I don’t want to spend the little days I have left on earth in the hospital. I don’t want to be on drugs and in the closure of the hospital. I want to die peacefully away from the hospital”She replied cutting him off once again.
“By receiving treatment we can fight this. We can overcome it”Oliver cajoled trying to get her to see sense.
“We can’t do anything. Respect my wishes on this and let me leave!”
“I cant do that! I won’t let you leave. You’ve got to get treatment and……”
“Stop it Oliver! My life is over just like loveth died, I will be dying and instead of watching you drown away like Owen, I would rather leave your life”She said as she walked past him but he pulled her to him, hugging her tight .
“You won’t die like loveth and i won’t die like Owen did. So don’t leave. I will respect your wish on not getting any treatment, just stay with me”Oliver begged wrapping his arms more closely around her.
