Henderson returned to the palace after spending three days in the hospital. Everyone welcomed him with smiles on his face. His cabinets were present, he greeted them and went to his bedroom. Some minutes later Ethan came to his bedroom, he laying down when he walked in.
“What’s up bro?” Henderson mumbled. “Am cool bro and you” Ethan replied. “Cool..” He replied.
“I hope you had a good time with your fianceé. Am sorry for putting through these Sh|ts”
“No. Com’on it’s fine.” Ethan replied.
“Hope you’re okay?” Ethan asked. “Am cool. It’s good to be home again, it seems like ages” Henderson replied, Ethan smiled.
“I hope there wasn’t any problems, all these days i was away”
“No! I would say that you took a good man as a queen. She stood and addressed your subjects. And she had a wonderful words with your councils telling them not to give up”
“Really?” Henderson questioned, shockingly. He sit up and continued staring at Ethan.
“Yeah! She’s very much capable of ruling her kingdom.” Ethan said.
“Yeah! It runs through their blood. Her father was a great ruler, just like my father was” Henderson said.
“The cabinets are waiting for you. If you can’t attend to them, tell me and i will tell them”
“No, it’s okay. I will go and meet them” Henderson replied.
“Alright..” “Ethan…” Henderson called.
“Com’on bro. I know were you’re heading to” Ethan cut him off. “Yeah! I still have to say it bro. Thank you” Henderson said.
“We are brothers and best friends. No thanks. No sorry” Ethan replied, Henderson sighed softly and smiled..
“You have to accompany me to the court room” Henderson said and tried getting up from the bed, Ethan helped him. “Thanks” Henderson mumbled.
They went to the court room and immediately they sighted the king they bow down to him. Everyone in the court room bowed their heads.
“I’m glad to see y’all here again” Henderson said and sat on his throne. “You’re welcome back, Your majesty” Jefferson said with a bow.
“Thank you” He replied. “You’re welcome back, your majesty” The other ministers in the court room chorused and bow to him.
“Thank y’all. For being here. Am very happy that y’all are present here. My brother told me everything that happened when i was in the hospital.
“Princess Amelia once address the court and your subjects, Your majesty” Jefferson said, with a smile.
Henderson nods, “Yes. Am very happy”
“I must say this your majesty. She’s the right one. You made the right choice and she’s capable of ruling Rome in your absence” Minister of finance said.
“Yes, your majesty. He is right. She has proven to us and your subjects that she can or will make a great ruler for Rome” Jefferson said, with a smile.
“Your highness, i have a suggestion” One of his minister said.
“What is it about?” Henderson asked, with a smile.
“Okay! I suggest that you just get married to her. If you were present you will see the way she addressed your cabinets and your subjects. Your people. She will be a great ruler like her father” One of the minister said.
“Your highness, please marry her” Jefferson added, with a smile. “Okay. I’ve heard y’all. And i promise that i will do everything you said.”
“Am glad y’all love her.” Henderson said and stood up, the ministers stood up also. “Thank y’all for being here.” Henderson muttered and made his way out of the court, while the ministers bow as he leaves.

Henderson and Ethan returned to the room, he sat down on the bed staring into an empty air with a smile on face “Are you okay?” Ethan asked.
“Come sit here” Henderson said and Ethan sat beside him. “What is the matter?”
“I have been thinking about the councils said. Getting married to princess Amelia”
“Yes, they are right.” Ethan replied. “I know, am not saying that i won’t get married to her. But the thing is that she has a kingdom to rule”
“So what do you want to do?” Ethan asked. “I have something in mind. I have prepared for it” Henderson said, he nods in agreement.
“I’m still thinking about this…” He paused and sighed softly. “Someone poisoned me, it something that i have never thought that it would happen to me..” Henderson said.
“I have checked the CCTV footage, but i couldn’t find anything. It seems like this person was prepared. And has been targeting you. He must be professional on this case”
“Do you have any one in mind?” Ethan asked
“I’m not suspecting anyone. Saanvi can’t harm a fly, she can’t hurt me” Henderson defended her.
“What do we do right now? Because this person won’t rest until he brings you down”
“I know. Ethan. I know.” He muttered and gave a heavy sigh.
“I don’t want Amelia to stay here with me” Henderson replied. “Why?” Ethan asked, confused.
“I don’t want her to be hurt. It seems like my enemies are too much. I don’t want her or my child to be hurt” Henderson said.
“Oh!” He muttered. “She won’t be happy. Leaving the palace”
“I don’t care. I just want her to be safe and our baby too” Henderson muttered. “I just hope you’re doing the right thing” Ethan said.
“Do you think it’s okay?” He asked and sighed. He ran his hand on his hair, confused.
“It’s okay. We have to make sure that the security is tight.” Ethan uttered. “It’s not a problem. I will do everything to make sure she’s safe” Henderson replied.
“Alright…” Ethan replied, his phone began to ring. He brought out the phone and glared at the caller it’s his mom.
“It’s mom” Ethan muttered. “Alright, my regards to her. I promise i will come see her when I’ve fully recovered”
“Alright, King Henderson. Take care of yourself” Ethan replied and left his room, he met princess Amelia on his way out.
“Good evening” Amelia greeted. “Good evening to you, princess Amelia” Ethan replied with a smile.
“It seems like you’re heading home” Amelia muttered. “Yes and you’re going to see the king right”
“Well. Yes” She replied. “Alright, take care of him” He said. “And you too, take care of my best friend. I know she’s staying with you”
“I will. Good night” He replied. “Good night..” She said, he walked out of the palace building and entered his car and drove off.
Amelia went to his door, his guards were standing by the door. They bow down to her, she nods and knocked on the door.
“Come in” He muttered not knowing who was knocking.She opened the door and walked in, he raised his head to see who is in the room. “Babe..” He muttered and tried to get up.
“Please don’t stress yourself” She replied and kept the tray on the table. “I brought your food” She added.
“You are looking hot tonight” He muttered, she chuckled and glanced at them, wondering why he is saying that to her. “Your food..” She stammered.
“Is the guards still standing by the door” He asked. “Yes.” She replied and uncovered the food, the aroma filled the room. “Huhm! It’s smells nice.” Henderson said. “It’s soup, i prepared it myself. And it didn’t stress me at all” She said with a smile. He picked up his phone and told the guards to leave, they left. She brought the soup to him, while he was sitting on the bed. She fed him. “It’s delicious” He muttered.
“I’m glad you like it” She replied with a smile. “Can I have it?” He asked. “Yeah..” She replied and handed it to him.
“Have you eaten?” He asked. “Yes!” She replied. “The royal maids prepared something.” She added.
“That’s good, am glad you have stared eating. Not like before, when i have to force you to eat” He said. She didn’t utter a word, but watch him.
“It’s delicious..” He commented on the soup. She smiled.
