Dylan came into the living room and was also surprised to see everyone.

Maddie caught it and pointed it to Robert.

Am tired of getting to worry am being haunted and can be killed anytime soon.
Andrew and the others watched.

Robert said and walk closer to her putting his forehead on the tip of her gun.

Maddie said and ÇOçk the gun. She pointed it back at Robert.
Kate and Ben looked scared.
“Please don’t do it, Maddie, please…
Kate prayed and hoped in her mind hugging ben.
Maddie pull the trigger.
Everyone was expecting a gunshot sound and an head blowing off but nothing was heard, nothing happened.
Maddie pull the trigger again and realized there was no bullets inside the pistol.
Andrew and Robert breathe a sigh of relief.
“Dylan??
Why is there no bullet inside this gun?”
She shouted at Dylan already feeling upset and wanted to cry.
“Hrm, guys…
I think you all should go now… Talking to Maddie right now is a bad time”
Dylan said to Andrew and the others before facing Maddie.
They quickly walked out including Robert.
Dylan walked to Maddie and hugged her.

Maddie cried on his shoulders.
“Why did you give me an empty gun? I would have killed Robert,

“I intentionally gave you an empty gun cos i knew you are emotionally not okay and you can do anything in this state”
Dylan replied.

Maddie continue to cry on his shoulders.

~10pm, Bedtime~
Andrew came on the bed where Rose laid waiting for him. He got his legs under the duvet and cover both of them.
Rose smile as she rest her head on his chest.
“How did the meeting with Maddie go?’
Rose asked.
Andrew sighs…
“It didn’t go well at all”
Maddie still refused to forgive Robert.
She still insist on getting her revenge at all cost”
“This isn’t the Maddie I also once knew.. The maddie I know was friendly and gentle”
“Or maybe it’s not her true self and she just use it as cover up”
Andrew said.
“Nah, I don’t think so”
“Guess what also happened”

Rose asked.
“You know Robert almost died today…
If not for Dylan, Maddie would have shoot Robert”

He sighs.

A knock came on the bedroom door waking up Rose.
“Isn’t it too early to knock on someone’s door?
Rose said sleepily and got down from the bed. Andrew was still asleep.
She walk down to the door in her pyjamas as she held her back for support.
Her baby bump was showing visibly.
The knock continues before Rose finally opens the door.

Jean said and squeezed her face happily.
“Jean…
It’s you”
Rose replied and left the door open, walking back to her bed. Jean walked in.
“Wow…
It’s been long I entered you guys bedroom”
Jean said and close the door behind her before following Rose.
Rose sat on the bed. Jean looked at sleepy Andrew on the bed.
“He is still asleep?”
“Obviously…
What do you want, Jean?
You literally woke me up with your knock”

I came to ask maybe you are ready for your session.

“Sessions?

Everything is ready, just want to make sure Rose and I leave for the hospital early”

Rose and Jean came out looking radiant and well dressed.
“Where are you guys heading to?”

Jean said happily. Rose just shrugged.

She walked out with Rose.

John sighs and continue his work on the files in front of him.
Andrew later came out in his unbuttoned pyjamas holding a cup of coffee with his hair still scattered.
“Morning, John…
Andrew greeted and sip a little from his coffee.
John take a look at him.
“Oh gosh… Boss
You look messy”
John said.
“What do you expect? I just woke up after Rose didn’t make me catch a good sleep overnight”
Rose woke me up more than ten times during the night,claiming she was craving for this, craving for that, she is needs a cuddle, she is having a cold. She feel like throwing up, this and that?
Gosh… I just had a rough night of my life”
John couldn’t laugh. He laughed and burst into laughter, laughing very loudly.
“That’s what you pass through when you are about to become a father”
When women are pregnant, they craves for so many things and also some foods irritated them”
Andrew sighs and sip his coffee again.
“That explains it…
“I don’t think am going to work today, am definitely staying back”
Today will be a day off for me”
He said and walks away.

Detective stones walks In front to the stage of a press conference.
Journalists and reporters were seated with a personal system in front of each of them.
Cameras also flashes everywhere and especially on his face.
Detective stones walks to the podium in front of hundreds of microphones.
“Morning.. fellow citizens of California
He began.
I stand here to assure you all of the safety of everyone in the State.
The blacked masked assassin that terrorize the city will be apprehended soon.
All mind should be at rest”
Detective stones said.
“Detective stones… I have a question”
A reporter said using her microphone.
“Go on please…
“Who is the blacked masked assassin? It was reported at first that she was arrested few days ago so her identity should be known by the police”
“Am sorry… But we are unable to find out and I can assure you all we will find out soon enough”
Det stones replied.
“Another question, detective stones
Another journalist said using the microphone.
Det stones sighs.
“Gosh…
This is getting unbearable”
He muttered silently.
“Go on..
He managed to put a smile on his face.
“Is it true that the blacked masked assassin escaped from your department after she was arrested and no cop was able to stop her?”
The journalist asked leaving Det stones speechless. He doesn’t know what to say”
Det stones sighs and look at everyone.. the anticipating journalist.
