Lotus opened her eyes and couldn’t find Starr beside herself.
When she saw she’s still naked, she put on her free top that’s still on the bed before climbing down.
After brushing, she went downstairs, she could smell eggs and bacon already.
She smiled and peeped into the kitchen.
Starr and Jungkook are there.
Starr is busy dishing the delicious looking breakfast while Jungkook kept stealing from it.
“Touch the food again and I’ll hit you” Starr glared and Jungkook stick out his tongue.
“I’m not joking” Starr said.
“I made the food, why can’t I touch?” Jungkook replied, smiling slowly.
“You just told me how to make it, I made it” Starr replied.
“What if I didn’t tell you how to make it?, Will all these be possible?” Jungkook smirked.
“Still…. I made the greatest contribution” Starr replied.
“I did” Jungkook said.

They almost hit their foreheads on each other as they argued till Lotus came in, laughing loudly.
“Babe you’re awake” Starr smiled.
“Yes, I had an amazing night” she replied and he widened his arms.
She hugged him and Jungkook coughed.
“I love you mermaid” Starr whispered, giving her ear a slight teasing bite.
She giggled cutely.
“I love you more soulmate” she whispered back.
They broke the hug and kissed lightly.
Jungkook coughed again.
“I’m still a kid, it’s not advisable to do all these in front of me” he said.
“Shut up” Starr replied.
Jungkook rolled eyes.
“You won’t eat noodles today, I made bacon and eggs, I’d have made cheese too but no time, we have to go to school you know?” Starr said.
Lotus nodded.
“I’ll make you some coffee, Jungkook you have to take these dishes to the dinning table” Starr said and surprisingly, Jungkook obeyed.
Lotus followed Jungkook out of the kitchen while Starr made the coffee.
After making it, he left the kitchen with the cup of coffee which he dropped in front of Lotus when he got to the dinning room.
Lotus took a bite from the meal and squeezed up her face.
“It’s salty” she pouted.
“Really?, It’s… it’s my first time so pardon your soulmate” Starr replied, scratching the back of his head.
“It’s fine, I give you five” Lotus replied, drinking from the coffee.
“What!, Five on what?”
“On hundred” Lotus replied and Jungkook laughed, almost choking on his food.
“Stop laughing” Starr glared and sat to eat but couldn’t find his plate of food
“Where’s my food?”
“I ate it with mine, sorry” Jungkook replied.
“What!” Starr shouted.
“I just said sorry” Jungkook replied.
“You’ll have to die again you gluttonous ghost!” Starr said, climbing the dinning table.
Before he could jump down beside him, Jungkook ran upstairs.
“Come back here jerk!, Come back!!’ Starr yelled, running after him.

Mrs Luther looked at the key necklace on her neck for more than ten times, thinking of weather to do it or not.
The old woman’s word eighteen years ago kept ringing in her ears as she rubbed the small key.
“WHEN HE TURNS EIGHTEEN, YOU MUST GIVE HIM THE NECKLACE, HIS SEALED POWERS WILL BE UNSEALED ONCE YOU DO THAT”
Martin turned eighteen two months ago but she has been afraid to give it to him.
“What if something bad happens?, I can’t trust an old woman whom I met once”
That’s what she always thinks about anytime her mind goes there but last night, she dreamt about the old woman, warning her about the consequences of not giving him the necklace as soon as possible.
Another look at the key necklace, she took it off the inserted the key into a drawer beside the bed.
The drawer opened and she brought out a box, she opened the box, revealing a necklace with a feather pendant.
“Is it true?, Did I….did I really give birth to a… nonhuman eighteen years ago?” She thought, still staring at the feather necklace.
Martin came in, dressed for school.
“Martin” she smiled, standing up.
“Is it for me?” He asked, looking at the necklace.
“You’re quick-witted” she replied and turned his back to herself.
“It’s adorable” he said after she wore it for him.
“I know right?, Don’t ever take it off” she replied.
“Why?” He asked, rubbing it
“Just don’t” she replied.
“But why does it seem like I’ve seen it somewhere before?” He muttered.
“Huh?” Mrs Luther said.
“Nothing, I should be on my way, the car dealers will be here in the evening” he replied.
“Alright, stay good” she smiled and he gave her a peck before leaving.

“Girls girls girls!” Enolla screamed, connecting Kat and Ophelia on a video call on her laptop as she prepared for school.
“What?, You aren’t going to school?” Kat asked.
“I should have told you this last night but I was busy going wild with jubilation, guess what?” She asked, wearing her skirt.
“You’re travelling out?” Ophelia asked.
“Lame, I’m getting engaged to Bluey next month!” She screamed in excitement, jumping up.
“OMG!, Which Bluey?” Kat asked .
“Which other Bluey is there?, Bluey Kings!, My baby face!” Enolla screamed again.
“I can’t believe this!, How did you do it!” Ophelia shouted shockingly.
“I don’t know either, dad just came home yesterday and told me about it!, Seriously I’m going wild!, To think that the cutest boy in school is gonna become my fiancee next month, I’m so lucky I’m going mad!” Enolla screamed, dancing around.
“Lucky girl” Kat smiled.
“Enolla!” Her mum opened her door , coming in.
“Yes mum?” She smiled.
“Bluey…he ran away from home last night” Mrs Armstrong announced.

Lotus kissed the feather pendant of Starr’s necklace when her car pulled up in the park.
They actually came together in her car, he didn’t go home at all.
As she kissed the pendant, the feather tattoo on her shoulder shone.
“I love you” she whispered and he whispered same thing before coming down from the car.
She waited for ten minutes before coming down from the car too.
“Lotus!” Martin’s voice called and her eyes widened, she ignored his calls throughout yesterday so she has to think of an excuse.
She started walking fast but it didn’t take long before he caught up and pulled her back by the right hand.
“You’re avoiding me too?, Why?, You didn’t pick my calls throughout yesterday too” he said but she shifted back from him immediately.
Strangely, he scents different, he’s scenting like her right now, her smell is oozing out of his body, filling up her nose and more strangely, it held the power of magnet, drawing her to him.
“What?” He asked, trying to go closer again but she stepped even farther from him.
“Who are you?” She asked, shocking him.
“Who am I?”
“Why are you…why are you suddenly…. scenting like me?, Why…
“What are you talking about?” He replied in confusion.
Lotus took two steps back and ran away from him.
Starr came by.
“I saw Lotus here just now” he said.
Martin didn’t reply, rather he started walking away.
“Dude, what’s up?” Starr said, touching his hand but he shoved him away and Starr fell on Lotus’s car.
He only shoved him simply but it felt as if he was pushed, it was so strong.
“Don’t try to touch me again” Martin said meanly and left him.
“What’s going on?” Starr wondered.
