We are at court now. Hopefully this will be the last time I step foot in here for this case.
Nate is already in jail right now. Now, it’s time for Zac to go behind bars with him.
We were now waiting for the jury to decide a verdict after the closing arguments.
Zac had a new lawyer and his entire family along with Brindas was here.
Brinda didn’t want Bella to come just in case it didn’t go our way but Bella crawled into the backseat of Brindas car without her knowing and she ended up here.
Alessandro, Serene, and Rachael were also here and I just wanted to hold their hands while we waited.
My heart was beating out of my chance at the thought we wouldn’t win.

I don’t want this generous jury to base decisions off of reactions. This is very important.

I was scared Sh|tless. I was a great lawyer but that doesn’t guarantee a win. “We’re yall able to reach a verdict?”
“Yes sir.” They all said with a nod.
“Hand it to court security.” And once they did it was given to him. He put his glasses on and looked at paper before giving it to the court.
She began to read off the paper. “I’m the circuit court for and in for Atlanta, Georgia Zac Dubois versus Brinda Dubois,” I had stopped listening at this part.
“A verdict as to the charge in count one we the jury find the defendant Zac Dubois of first degree domestic violence as charged in the indictment.”
I was smiling like an idiot as court was being closed out.
The judge said some words to the jury and to Brinda before sentencing her, “Zac Dubois,
having been found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by a jury of your peers a first degree domestic violence I am going to adjudicate you guilty. Im going to sentence you to ten years state prison.”
We stand up as Zac is sent up to do finger printing. “All court business is finished.” He says once Zac is behind closed doors.
Everyone walks out and once we are outside of the courtroom Brinda and Bella attack me with a hug.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. You don’t understand how happy I am.” Brinda said hugging me tighter.
I hugged them both back. “Your so welcome. He will never hurt either of you again.” We’re all crying
now then Serene and Rachael come to join the hug.
“Oh! The ring looks really nice.” Brinda smiled.
“It’s just a promise ring for now.” Bella took my hand and inspected the ring.
When we parted I wiped at my tears just as they do theirs. I looked up to see James rushing, basically running towards us in a frenzy.
Brinda didn’t even have time to react before she was turned around and James was kissing her like he’d die if they separated. It made me smile at how urgent he seemed to need to feel her.
“I love you. A lot.” He said with a smile and you could see she was too in shock to respond. “Brinda?”
“Oh, right. Sorry. I love you too. A lot.” I laughed as they kissed more. This time, I left the three of them alone and walked over to where Alessandro was standing.
“I’m proud of you baby.” He said and I smiled up at him. He pressed his lips against mine but when paparazzi came surrounding us we groaned. Him and his bodyguards blocked Serene, Rachael and i as we walked out.
“We’re celebrating tonight! At my place. Bring all your friends!” Serene yelled as she walked away.
I yelled an okay and blew a kiss to the both of them before getting into the car.
I was pulled into his lap as soon as the door was shut. His lips on mine hungrily caused me to start and grind my hips on him.

“can we go shopping? I want to get some new dresses and Moon needs some things.”

“No. End of discussion.” I raised my eyebrows, ÇOçking my head to the side about and crossing my arms over my chest.

“Fine.” I could hear the breath of relief he let out as I got into my seat and fixed my skirt. His hands were sweating and shaking slightly as he started to drive.
I looked over at him with nothing but anger and he was trying so hard to avoid my gaze.
He cleared his throat. “Baby, we can get you that dog if you want it.”
“Fuçk you.” We we’re at a red light now. Any other time he would slut me out but he could see the anger in my eyes as I stared at him.

I ignored him and turned to look out of the window. He sighed and continued to drive. I was smiling now at my little plan that I would do once we were at the mall.
He didn’t say anything for the rest of the drive. Alessandro’s bodyguards were with us now as wel and followed us into the mall.
We walked inside the mall and he placed his hand on my lower back which I shrugged off.
Alessandro stepped in front of me, blocking from continuing to walk. “Athena, talk to me. I’m sorry, we’ll get the dog.”

“I’ll get on my knees.” I smiled. When he noticed I was waiting he got down on his knees with his hands on my hips.
I crossed my arms over my chest, looking down at him.

I laughed. “Do you forgive me?”
“Get off the floor.” He had the biggest smile on his face as he got up and kissed me.
“I can’t believe I just got on my knees and begged for your forgiveness.
I love you, you crazy woman.” He said, kissing my lips a bit more before putting his hand on my @$$ with a smile.
We walked into thousands of stores. The one we were in now allowed him and his bodyguards to be in.

They stayed behind to pay while I walked out to another store.
A lingerie store caught Alessandro’s eye and we walked inside. He had to wait behind the door while I tried on the lingerie.
It was a black string thing with a lace top that showed my N?pplës. I looked in the mirror as he walked in. Smiling, I turned around to him. “You like it?”
His eyes scanned me from head to toe with a smirk. “I love it.” I walked up to him, trailing my hand down his chest with a smile. “You can’t Fuçk me in this. It’s to sëxy and I want to keep it for a lifetime.”
He looked down at me silently with a straight face before wrapping his hand around my throat and backing me up against the mirror. “I’m paying for it so I’m going to rip it off your body.”

Alessandro paid for the new pairs of lingerie I got with a smile. We walked to a jewelry store and I bought at least five pieces of diamond necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
I got Alessandro some more watches and chains and he got me some more jewelry. “We’ve been here for an hour, butterfly.”
“Just two more and I promise we can go and Fuçk then get ready for the party.” I turned around, standing to my tip toes in heels and kissed him.
After five earth shattering 0rg@zms we were getting ready for Serenes party. I slipped on a one shoulder cutout maxi dress that was brown and fit my body perfectly.

Rachael, Serene, Rosa, and Leslie were all upstairs with me. Serene still wasn’t ready for the party she was throwing. “You have such a fat @$$.” Leslie complimented me when I sat on her lap.

I still wasn’t talking to my mom or dad and I probably never would. As we walked downstairs Alessandro was pacing but once he saw me he stopped dead in his tracks.
Jasper, Kano, and Damien were down there with him and they looked at us all with raised eyebrows. I approached him, kissing his lips and getting a bit of gloss on there which I wiped off.

Michael walked over to us, whispering something in his ear that made him nod. “What was that?” I asked.
“Nothing. I’ll be back.” And he walked off before I could respond.
Rosaline came over and gave me the biggest hug ever. “I knew you’d win. I always had faith in you.” She kissed my cheek.
“Thank you so much, Mom.” She smiled when I said mom. It was good to have at least one supporting mother in my life.
Kano came over to me with a blindfold. “There’s a surprise in the backyard waiting for you.”
He tired putting it over my eyes but I backed up. “No, that’s going to Fuçk my makeup up.”
He sighed knowingly, “Fine. Cover and close your eyes.” I did and he took his hand to the inside of elbow as he lead me outside. “I swear if you make me fall down those steps I will kill you.”
He chuckled. “Sure.”

He laughed, “Are you sure you want to do this with her? She’s a very violent woman.” When we reached what seamed like the ground he said I could open my eyes.
Everything was so beautiful. Big white signs spelled out my name, there were dark purple rose petals on the ground in the shape of a heart with candles on the outside of them.
Alessandro stood right in the center of it with a big and nervous smile.
There was a path with people holding signs that told me how much he loved me along with a bouquet of flowers. “Alessandro.” I said on the verge of tears.
Everyone surrounded us with their phones in hand and recording.
“When I first met you my first thoughts were: she’s going to be the best woman I’d ever have sëx with.” I laughed with tears and he wiped them away.
“And God was I right because when you did-” He stopped himself with a shake of his head which made everyone laugh.

When you left the next morning I felt more heart want to leap after you. I had never felt anything like that for anyone.
That night you fell asleep in my arms, I watched you sleep. I know it’s kind of creepy but your were just so beautiful I couldn’t help it.
“I watched you sleep for one full hour before pulling you to me and going to sleep myself. I’m so glad I ran into again a year ago.” I was full on crying now.

I want to see you every morning I wake up, I want to spend the rest of my life with you under me in the bed, and I want you there whenever I’m feeling upset.
I want to hear that laugh everyday, I want to see that smile everyday, I want to see those beautiful brown eyes everyday. I know this isn’t your first marriage but I hope to be your last husband.”
He got down on one knee and opened the box, revealing the biggest diamond ring ever.
“I’m on my knee, asking and begging you to marry me. Please give me the honor to be able to tell people you are my wife.”
Fuçk I was crying so Fuçking hard. Why was I crying, this is so embarrassing. “Alessandro.” Serene came over and took the cards and bouquets out of my hand.
“Yes, yes I’ll marry you.” He smiled with his teeth as he slipped the ring on my finger. He stood up, picking me up from the ground.
I was still crying and laughing as everyone clapped and cheered for us. He twirled us around before setting me down and wiping the tears off my cheeks.
When I looked at him I could see his eyes getting watery. He cupped my cheeks and kissing me so lovingly and passionately I thought I was floating.
“I’m so happy. You make me so happy. I love you so Fuçking much.”
