{ DYLAN OR MAVIS? }
“Dylan!” Emma screamed, rushing to the scene eventually. She pulled Dylan to herself.
“Why did you do that?” She asked slowly.
Dylan looked back at Delaney and their eyes met, then they started staring at each other.
Honestly, he knows not why he fought for her, He just felt the overwhelming urge to fight for her immediately he saw the scene.
Emma forcefully turned his face back to herself and kissed his lips, but he broke it immediately.
“Why?, I’m not your girlfriend anymore?” She said.
“I never asked you out” he replied and started walking out.
“Dylan!’ Emma shouted loudly, but he kept going.
Emma faced Delaney and rolled eyes at her sharply.
“I don’t care what happened between you two when he was still with his memories, but he’s mine now, and I hope his memories never return” she said meanly and ran after Dylan.
Delaney sighed lightly and continued standing on her spot, remembering how Dylan beat up Madelyn and the boss.
“Somewhere in your memories bad boy, I still exist” she muttered with a dry smile, then the boss opened his eyes and they widened before he spranged up.
“How dare you allow that nincompoop to do that to me!” He shouted, but Delaney only smirked.
“Where the hell is he!, Did he escape?, Huh!” He shouted again, but when Delaney kept mute, he went for her and tried hitting her but she grabbed his hand.
“I know you received a bribe from Madelyn” She said, and his eyes widened.
“Can’t believe you agreed to betray me despite how wholeheartedly I’ve been working for you, well it’s fine, I quit ok?” She said and threw off his hand.
She stormed into the changing room and changed into her trousers and blouse before walking out.
She threw the uniform at the boss’s face.
“Füçk you, like bang!” She said and gave him the middle finger before leaving the restaurant.
She made her way to the dry cleaning shop and met both Gladys and Sydney this time around, so she went straight to the boss.
“I know you took bribes to take them in too” she said, and his eyes widened.
“Delan…
“Funny how everyone agreed to betray me cos of cash, life is so full of dirts and trashes” she smiled.
“I’m not gonna quit here, I’m gonna continue working, but just know that if those two Bîtches cross my lane, I’ll make them cry” she said seriously before turning to go, then she saw Sydney and Gladys behind.
She walked past their middle, pushing them outta the way. She went to the locker room and changed to start work.
“I’ll have to look for a replacement for the restaurant” she said and took a deep breath before getting to work.

Dylan drove straight home from the restaurant, he’d spend the night at home and just return to the hostel tommorow morning.
He pulled up at the driveway and came down from the car in a rush then, he went in.
Mrs Bills was the only one in the living room.
“Big baby!, You didn’t tell me you’d be com…
He didn’t even wait or look at him, he went upstairs immediately to Summer’s room which is now his room.
He stripped himself completely and entered the bathroom, then he stepped under the shower.
The cold water started streaming down his body, and he sighed as what he didat the restaurant kept replaying in his head.
“Who’s she?”
“Was I really in love with her?”
“Why did I fight for her even when my arm hurts?”
All these questions made his head wobbly, and he closed his eyes gently.
He spent close to ten minutes before coming out, then he put on a sweatshirt and white long pants before sitting on the bed, his wet hair scattered hotly all-over his handsome face.
His phone buzzed, and he checked to see a message from Midas.
★Dude, where are you?, I and Trevor are worried AF!★
He typed a reply immediately.
★AT THE MANSION, WILL BE BACK TOMMOROW MORNING★
He was about to drop his phone after clicking send, but something stopped him.
One of his old messages icon has Delaney as the recipient.
He clicked on it and his eyes widened when he saw the messages he sent to her.
They were all saying sorry as if he did something wrong.
He curiously went to his saved numbers and saw her number there.
Dela♥️
“Delaney?, Dela?” He muttered, and that name echoed in his head.
Dela… Dela… Dela…
Nothing more, just Dela.
“Aarrgg!” He groaned, holding his head so tight as her face appeared sharply in his memory.
“I’d rather date my pet dog than date you!” She said before her face disappeared, and he started bleeding from the nose again.
“Füçk!, My head!” He gasped, and Mrs Bills rushed in.
“Dylan!” She said shockingly, rushing to him.
She climbed his bed and held his face.
“Look me in the eye, blank your head” she said quickly, and he did.
He started calming down bit by bit, and he wiped the blood on his nose with her blouse before hugging him.
“You’ll be fine, don’t force yourself to regain the memories, they’ll come back naturally” she said, stroking his hair.
“I wanna remember, I need to” he replied, hugging her back.
“You will” she smiled.
“Sleep in my room tonight, please… I don’t wanna sleep alone” he said, and the door opened immediately.
Trevor and Midas came in.
“Good thing your friends are here” Mrs Bills said, breaking the hug.
“Take care of him boys” she smiled and left the room.
“Why are you guys here?” Dylan asked.
Midas lay on his right side while Trevor lay on his left.
“To keep you company, you can’t do without us” Midas said.
“As if” Dylan smirked, and they laughed.
“Sleep tight idiot” Trevor said.
“Sweet dreams, fool” Midas added.
“I wish you bad dreams, stupid fellas” Dylan replied, and they all laughed as their lashes hugged each other.
They slept off at a time.

Mavis spranged up from his bed again after having the tormenting nightmare. He rushed down from the bed and ran to the freezer for cold water immediately.
He was about to drink when he remembered how he passed out after drinking it the other time, so he dropped it and sat in front of the freezer, bringing his lighter out of his pocket.
He started staring at the flower branded on it and started crying bitterly.
That lighter was his father’s when he was still alive.
Yes… His dad smokes when he was still alive, but he’s the only one who knew about it throughout, Flora never knew.
He cultivated the habit from his dad but it only became much after Sydney’s betrayal.
He stood and left the room. It’s lights out already but he cares less, Mrs Kat won’t say a word if he gets caught anyways
He made his way to back of the hostel where a tree is, but he was surprised to see Delaney there already.
He quickly wiped the remaining traces of tears on his face before walking to her.
“Sugarcane” she said when she saw him.
“It’s been long since you called me that, Sëx¥ love” he replied, sitting beside her.
“Silly” she smiled, and he touched her hair.
“There was a leaf” he said, showing her the dried leaf he picked from it.
“Thanks” she replied.
“Why are you here?” He asked.
“Just… enjoying the night breeze” she replied, and he smiled.
“All the students were invited to the wedding, you coming?” He asked.
“I have no choice” she replied and looked at him. He looks gloomy.
“You don’t look like you want the wedding” she said.
“It’s obvious, but I can’t do anything” he replied, and she sighed.
“Sometimes, we don’t have control over certain things in life, this is one of it, cheer up!” She said, giving him a pat.
He laughed lightly, brightening up immediately.
“You have a way of making me happy” he said, and she smiled too, then his head came to her shoulder.
He rested on it and closed his eyes.
“I never said you could place your head on my shoulder” she said.
“Should I rather kiss your lips?” He replied, and she gasped.
“Pervert!”
“So shush!, This handsome guy needs to sleep” he smiled with his eyes closed, and she chuckled.
Sydney has been watching, and immediately that happened, she stormed back into the hostel.
“What’s up?” Gladys asked when she came in.
“Delaney and Mavis, what else?” Sydney rolled eyes, and Gladys laughed.
“Madelyn got disgraced at the restaurant cos of her too, seems I’m the only one who’s not affected by her”
“I knew splitting ourselves in her jobs wouldn’t work, she’s just so impossible to tackle” Sydney replied, sitting on the bed.
“What next?, The wedding” Gladys smiled.
