Vincent was still on the floor, laughing like a crazy psycho, when Candy entered the office.
She gasps when she saw Vincent bursted lips.
“Vincent!” She rushed towards him.
“What happened to your lips?” She asked, trying to touch his wounded lips, but he held her hand.
“Don’t touch me, I am fine” He stood up, smiling.
“You have been acting weird” Candy said.
“How?”
“I dunno, you are just different from the Vincent I used to know. Dove was here a few minutes ago, was she the one who did this to you?”
Vincent sat on the chair. “It’s no big deal. It’s be nice, if she kick me again” He said exposing his little set of teeth.
“No big deal? She kicked your face and you want her to do it again? What’s going on with you?”
“The last time I checked, you’re just my secretary, so stop acting like you’re my mom”
“I am just being concerned about you”
“I never asked you to be. If you don’t have anything useful to say, you can just turn around and leave”
“Well, there’s some docvments you need to sign” She drops it on the table for him.
Vincent made a puff sound with his mouth and began signing on the docvment, and while he was at it, Candy was busy admiring his handsome face.
She likes him a lot.
Vincent being the bad boy that he is, has already had a taste of her honeypot.
He doesn’t resist any lady that willingly gives her body to him.
“Here you go” He said, giving her the docvments after he was done signing on them.
“Will you be free tonight?” She asked.
“Why?” Vincent asked in return.
“I just wanted to invite you over” Candy said in a low voice, giving her lower lip a little bite.
Vincent instantly got her message, and he stood up from his seat.
He takes a step towards her and said. “I am not interested. From now on, let’s just be boss and employee”
He leaves the office.
Candy’s jaw dropped. “Did he just reject my body? Since when?” She asked herself, with a surprise look on her face.

•NIKO’S APARTMENT•
Joaquin entered the house, and sees Niko at home, setting up the table for lunch.
It was unlike Niko to be at home during the afternoons, cuz he was always at the construction site.
“You didn’t go to work today?” Joaquin asked.
“No, I didn’t. I made you lunch, let’s eat together” He smiled.
“I will go in and change first”
Joaquin went to the room and changed into something cosy. In the next minute, he was sitting on the dining chair, eating lunch with Niko.
“Do you like it?”
“You have always been the best cook” Joaquin replied, but Niko noticed he wasn’t in a happy mood.
“Did something happen in school today? You look sad. Is anyone bullying you?”
Joaquin chuckled.
“Of course not, Niko”
“So what’s with the sad face” Niko asked, worriedly.
“Do you love Dove?”
“That’s not even a question, Joaquin. The heavens knows I love Dove so much. Why do you ask?”
“I don’t want you to be heartbroken”
“Why will I be heartbroken? Dove and I love each other so much”
“I know. Dove isn’t the problem, it’s Dora. She threatened me that she will do all she can to make sure you don’t end up with her sister. Dora is a sly, what if she puts good use with her threat”
“You don’t have to worry about Dora. The only ones who can put an end to the relationship I have with Dove, is either me or her, and I won’t be the one to end it, cuz I love her so much”
“I just want you to be happy, Niko”
“I’m happy Joaquin. With you and Dove by my side, I don’t need any luxury” He ruffles his hair, and Joaquin smiled.
“So why aren’t you at work today?”
“I quit” Niko answered, eating.
“You quit, why?”
“I got a more benefitting job this time around. It pays so well, which means I will be able to provide anything you want, and also for my wedding with Dove” He smiled.
“You want to get married to her?”
“Yes, but not right away. With my new job, I’d be able to save up lot of money so that I can give her a grand wedding, and a comfortable house. Once I’m done saving up, I’ll will propose to her”
“You have your life planned out with Dove. I’m impressed” Joaquin said.
“She is my life. Enough with the chitchatting, you should eat, the food is getting cold” He said adding more macaroni in Joaquin’s plate.

Charon sighed for the umpteenth time, as he waited patiently for Piper to come home.
He has been waiting for her since forever, and there wasn’t even any sign of her coming.
He has called her so many times, but she was not picking up.
Charon was waiting outside Piper’s apartment, cuz she change the password to her smart door.
Everything Piper has was brought by Charon, including her apartment and the cars she has.
He just love her too much and he can’t say NO to anything she asked for.
The both of them have been together since high school days, and Charon could vividly remember the efforts that he put in, before Piper agreed to date him.
He was still waiting for Piper when she drove inside the compound.
She came out from the car, wearing a net gown that was revealing the br@ and p@nties that she was wearing.
“What the heck are you wearing, Piper?” He asked walking up to her.
“As you can see, I’m putting on clothes”
“You called this clothes? Your whole body is exposed” He said. He wasn’t even shouting at her, but Piper exploded immediately.
“Why are you detecting what I should and shouldn’t wear?” She asked getting mad.
“I am your boyfriend, Piper” Charon said in a low voice.
“Just because you’re my boyfriend, I shouldn’t dressed the way I like, huh? Should we just break up so that I can have peace of mind?!!!” She shouts at him, and Charon quickly went on his knees.
“I am sorry, I won’t scold you about what you wear. Don’t think about breaking up with me” He said with misty eyes.
“Fine! Just get up, before your friends will say I am a bad person”
Charon stood to his feet and hugged her. “I love you so much”
Piper rolled her eyes, and broke the hug.
“Where have you been? I’d have waited for you inside, but you change the password of your door”
“Yes I did, because I needed my own privacy. Do you have a problem with that?”
Charon shakes his head.
“Did you check your phone?” He asked with a smile.
“Why?”
“I transferred the three million you asked for”
Piper brought out her phone from her purse, she checked her phone and indeed the money was there.
“Did you have to stress me before giving me the money?” Piper said, instead of saying thank you.
“I am sorry, it won’t happen again”
“Just go home, Charon. I had a long day and I need to rest”
“Not even a good night kiss? I waited for you for hours” He said, innocently.
Piper just gave him a peck on the cheek before entering the house. She didn’t even bother to ask him if he has eaten.
Charon touch his cheek and smiled. No doubt, he is foolishly in love with Piper.
He walked up to his car and he got a text message from Izzy saying he is needed in the company.
Charon owns a modeling agency, and Izzy (Dove’s best friend) works as one of the makeup artists for his company.

Charon arrived in the company and he met Izzy in his office.
“I saw your text, you said there was a problem with the models, but when I got to the studio, nothing out of the ordinary was happening” Charon said and Izzy smiled at him.
“I lied”
“You lied to your boss?” He asked.
“I am sorry. I wanted you to rush back here, since my work here for today is over and I needed to go home”
“What do you need me for?” He asked.
Izzy smiled and gave him a lunch-box.
“What’s this for?”
“You haven’t eaten all day, so I got you something to eat” Izzy said.
“Why will you even bother?” He asked again.
Izzy giggles.
“I will be going home now” She quickly leaves the office.
“What’s with her” He muffled, but nevertheless, he opened the lunchbox.
He smiled slightly when he saw it was his favorite meal- cobb salad and chicken fried steak.
He sat down and began to eat it. He was extremely hungry cuz he was waiting for Piper all day.
Izzy secretly looked at him from the door that was slightly opened. She didn’t leave like she said she would, and when she saw Charon eating her food, she smiled.
She has been working for Charon as a makeup artist for two years now, and without a shock, she has been crushing on Charon for two years.
Izzy knows he has a girlfriend and he is ready to die for her, so she just admire Charon from a distance.

•DOVE’S HOUSE•
Dove stands in the mirror inside her room, looking at her B@@bs from the singlet she was wearing.
She screamed in annoyance when she recalled how Vincent said her B@@bs were small.
“I h@të him!” She spats.
Just then her phone rang.
“Who is this?” She asked when she picked up.
“Didn’t you save my number?” Vincent asked, and Dove frowns when she recognized his voice.
“Why are you pestering my life?” She asked.
“I just wanted to hear your voice”
“Just get lost”
“I can’t get lost, I’m outside your house”
“How did you know my house?”
“Have you forgotten you wrote it down during the signing of the contract?”
Dove closed her eyes in annoyance.
“Make sure you disappear before I come out” She said and angrily ended the call.
She put on a gown since she was wearing just a singlet and a bum-shot.
Dove came out from the house and indeed Vincent was in her house.
He was resting his back in his car, with his eyes on his phone and Dove could swear that he is indeed the king of dressing.
He was looking so hot and handsome in his breathtaking outfit. Even the head-warmer he was putting on added to his good looks.
Dove spent few minutes looking at him, but the moment Vincent raise his head up and their eyes met, she quickly looked away, clearing her throat.
Vincent smiled and rushed to her.
“Dovey!”
“Stop calling me that”
“Should I call you wifey instead?” He asked, smiling.
“What are you doing here? I strictly told you that I am going to deliver the sugarcanes to your company once it’s ready”
“That’s not why I am here. I want to see your small face” He cupped her face, giggling.
“Your face is so soft” He whispers to her ear and Dove could feel her skin getting goosebumps and she quickly pushed him away.
“Will you please get out out of my life?”
“I can’t do that. You already stole my heart” He smiled.
“If this is one of your baddie games, then it’s not going to work on me. I have a boyfriend!”
“I still have a chance, cuz he is not married to you, yet” He winks at her.
Dove grunts.
“What planet did you come out from? Do you think teasing me is a nice thing to do” She asked.
“I am not, I am being serious” Vincent said.
“Dove?” Niko said.
“Niko” Dove smiled at him, and Vincent became jealous when he saw Dove smiling at Niko, cuz all she does is throw h@tëful looks at him.
“Who the heck he is?” Vincent asked.
Dove held Niko’s hand while Niko looked at Vincent wondering who he was.
“He is my boyfriend. I’m in a serious relationship with him, so take your flirting someone else, cuz you got the wrong girl” Dove said.
Vincent looked at Dove’s hand that was on Niko’s hand, and he separated their hands.
“What’s your problem, dude?” Niko asked.
“How much?” Vincent asked with jealous expression.
“How much for what?”
“Name your price and I’d give it to you asap. How much do you want for me to have Dove to myself? Leave her for me and I’d give you any amount of money you want”
“What?” Niko muttered, surprisingly.
