“What?” Niko muttered, surprisingly.
“I’m going to give any amount, just break up with her” Vincent said, desperately.
“Do I look like a product you can buy with your money?” Dove asked. She was angry.
“Let me handle this, love” Niko said.
Hearing Niko called Dove his love, made Vincent’s heart sank in pain.
“I understand that you can buy everything and anything you want with your money, but that doesn’t mean you can bargain the price of a human being. My girlfriend isn’t for sale, and I won’t trade her for any amount of money, cuz I love her so much. You should thank your stars that I am one heck of a gentleman, else I’d have disfigured your face for putting a price tag on my girlfriend” Niko said, calmly.
“You don’t deserve her, I can give her anything she wants!”
“And who is asking for your money?” Dove asked, harshly and Vincent looked at her with sad eyes.
“Dovey” He muttered her name with a sad voice.
“You have no right to insult my boyfriend, Vinny. Yes, he might not have the money you have, the clothes you have, the houses you have or even the cars you have, but I love him that way. Money can’t buy love, so if you put up this nasty act of yours again, I will have no choice but to terminate my contract with your company”
Vincent didn’t say a word, he was just looking at her, and his heart was in so much pains.
He keeps wondering why he was so drawn to her. She wasn’t even compare to the classy ladies he has met, and yet his heart keeps longing for her.
Was this what falling in love means?
“I am sorry” He apologized to her in a low voice, but Dove hissed at him.
“Let’s go, my love” She held Niko’s hand and they both entered the house.
Vincent slowly walked back to his car, he opened the car and sat on the driver’s seat.
He tried starting the car, but he had no energy to. He buried his head on the steering, sniffing.
“Why are you even crying?” He asked himself.
His heart was already in a pool of pains.

“Is he the Vincent Moore, you were talking about?” Niko asked when Dove gave him a glass of water. Both were in the living room.
Dove nodded her head and sat beside him. “Yes, he is the one. But don’t worry, we’re not close. He is a psychopath who behaves abnormal, there’s nothing to worry about”
Niko smiled and kissed her forehead. “I trust you Dove, so you don’t have to explain anything to me. His words were kind of harsh and painful, but it’s fine”
“I am so sorry, Niko. If I didn’t sign the contract with him, he won’t have rubbed it in your face that you don’t have money” She said feeling guilty.
Niko hugged and began patting her back.
“You have your own life to live, Dove. You gain your daily sales from selling sugarcanes, I can’t take that from you, just because I am your boyfriend”
Dove rest her head on his broad chest. “Why are you so understanding?”
Niko chuckled. “It’s because that’s who I am, and I love you so much. Your happiness is important to me, and that’s why I will never deprive you from the things that make you happy. I trust you so much, so don’t ever break my trust, okay”
Dove cupped his cheeks. “That’s never going to happen, you own my heart”
Niko smiled and kissed her lips, briefly.
“I got a new job”
“Really? What kind of job?” Dove asked.
“It’s nothing out of the ordinary. It’s just a simple job compared to my job at the construction site”
“That’s good to know, I was starting to get worried about you, cuz it’s not easy working at the construction sites”
“I know, and that’s why I quit, and you’re the reason why I accepted my new job”
“As long as you are not working yourself out, it’s fine with me. I’m not bugging you for anything, so don’t stress yourself, okay”
“It’s my duty to take care of you, and that’s why I need to work hard” He said.
“Awww, you are so sweet” She kissed her lips and Niko smiled.
“When will you be delivering the sugarcanes to Mint-More?” He asked.
“Within the week, even if Vinny is annoying, I still need the money”
“Just keep me posted, I will help you uproot the sugarcanes, and we will deliver it together”
“You will do that for me?” Dove asked, smiling, and he nod his head, cutely.
“What will I do without you?”
“I should be the one saying that, I am nothing without you”
“Same here, Love” She placed her small head back on Niko’s chest and he smiled.
He loves her so much!.

*CANDY’S CONDO, NIGHT*
Candy was about turning on the tv when the door bell rang. She drops the remote and went the door.
Candy opened the door and was surprised to see Vincent standing in her doorstep.
*Didn’t he ditched her few hours ago? So what is he doing here?* Candy thought to herself as she looked at Vincent who had a sad expression on his face.
“I thought you said you won’t come?” She asked.
Vincent gained access inside her house and before Candy could opened her mouth to talk, Vincent was already kissing several parts of her neck, and at the same massaging her B@@bs with his hands.

Dora sits in the chair of her classroom, jotting down something on her notebook.
Angel entered the class, and she smiled when she saw Dora.
Dora might be bossy, but Angel and Joaquin still considers her as their friend.
“What are you doing?” Angel asked, sitting beside her.
“I am trying to figure out a way to lie to my dad and Dove, and I found a perfect way to do so, and you know what it is?”
Angel shook her head.
“Since the semester just resumed, I will be needing new textbooks, so I made a graph”
“I don’t understand, Dora”
“Sure you won’t, cuz you have an ant brain”
“Dora” Angel pouted.
“Wh@tëver. Well, I will be lying to them about the prices of my textbooks”
“Why Dora? You already know how Dove works so hard at her sugarcanes plantation, and also how hard your dad works his butts at the station”
“And does it look like I care? My dad choose to be a cop rather than doing something benefiting, and Dove, she chose to date a pauper. I need to change the clothes in my closet, but I don’t have the money to, and since Dove and my dad won’t give me the money for it, I need to lie to them about my schooling, cuz that’s the only way, they’d give me the money”
“If you want to live a fancy lifestyle, then get it yourself. Don’t blame your sister and your dad for not giving you the life you want, cuz they are trying their best to send you to school. Yellow-spree is an expensive school, Joaquin and I were able to attend this school cuz of a scholarship. You don’t have the brain to pass a scholarship exam, but Dove made sure you attend your dream school, and this is what she gets in return? You should focus on your studies, not thinking about how to live a luxurious life!” Angel said and Dora slapped her.
As if it wasn’t enough, Dora grabbed Angel’s hair.
“Are you trying to rub it on my face that you’re smarter than me? You have no right to lecture me, Angel. I didn’t ask for this life, so why should I bear it? FYI, I am going to get a rich boyfriend soon, and he’d give the life I want!” Dora shouted at Angel.
“How can you think about having a boyfriend, you’re just fifteen?!”
“Don’t tell me what to do!!” Dora pushed Angel, and her back landed on the desk.
“If you ever tell my family about my plans, I am going to feed you to the vultures” Dora threaten and leaves the classroom.
Angel began to cry, cuz she knew despite what Dora did, she is still going to talk to Dora again.

•LOUNGE, NIGHT•
Jayden keeps giggling from ear to ear as he chatted with his secret girlfriend.
He has a secret girlfriend, who neither Charon or Vincent know.
He keeps telling them he is single, whereas the real truth is that he is seeing someone but chose to keep it a secret.

Jayden typed on his phone with a smile.
“What’s making you so happy?” Vincent asked, and Jayden quickly hid his phone, fidgeting.
“When…did you…you…get here?” He asked.
“A while ago, you didn’t notice cuz you were so busy with your phone. Who were you chatting with?” He asked.
“No one” Jayden said, sharply.
“Here you go again, if you’re seeing someone, just say it, and stop doing hide and seek”
“I’m not dating anyone. I don’t have time for dating, I pretty busy with work” He said.
Jayden owns a web-toon company, and his web-toons series are always the best selling books in Washington. He is a very good cartoonist, and his books are always epic.
“Fine, if you say so. Where is Charon?”
“He is with Piper” Jayden answered, excepting Vincent to say something as usual.
“Okay” He sat down, lighting a cigarette.
“Just okay?”
“Yeah. What else do you want me to say?” Vincent asked.
“The real Vincent would have mocked him for being crazy over Piper”
“Why should I mock a man who is in love? He should love her with all his heart”
“Why is your language changing? You were never in supportive of romance”
“I got bitten by a love bug” Vincent answered, flashing a smile at Jayden.
“Are you sick? Or did someone switch bodies with you?”
“It’s still me. Is just that I am no longer myself” He drops the cigarette and look at Jayden.
“You’re good at romance, right? Your web-toon series are always the best selling books, so can you give me tips. I have never been in love before, so I don’t know how to make her forgive me”
“What’s going on? I don’t understand”
“I am going to explain everything to you, but right now, I need tips. She is mad at me for what I did, and I want her to forgive me”
“Who is she?”
“The most prettiest girl I have ever seen” Vincent smiled.
“Don’t me you are….”
“Yes I am in love, funny right?”
Jayden nodded his head with a surprise look on his face.
“So please help me, I dunno what to do to make her love me back” Vincent said, but Jayden kept looking at him.
He was speechless, cuz he knew Vincent was someone who wasn’t ready to fall in love.

•THREE DAYS LATER•
Dove came out from the library. She is a novel freak, and her best stories were from Jayden’s company. She is big fan of his web-toon series. She also dreamed of becoming a cartoonist.
On coming out from the library, she discovered it’s raining.
“Oh no, what am I going to do?” She muttered, cuz she wasn’t with an umbrella.
She tried calling Niko, but figuring out that he might be at work, she decided not to.
“Maybe I should go home like that” She was about entering the rain, when an umbrella covered her.
She slowly raised her head and sees Vincent smiling at her. He likes head-warmers a lot, cuz he was wearing one right now.
“What are you doing here?” She asked, and Vincent smiled.
“Is this not a scene where the male lead goes to the female lead cuz it’s raining?”
“We are not in a web-toon, Vinny”
“Vinny, I like that” He smiled.
“What are you doing here?” She asked again.
“Well, I have been following you all day. Am I not romantic?” He asked, still smiling.
Dove chuckled.
“Are you always this way?”
“No. I’m only like this when I am with you” He winks at her.
“You are crazy” Dove said, smiling at him for the first time.
“This is the first time you’d smile at me, and I love it”
“Stop joking around. I will allow you take me home, since you are the only one available right now”
“I am not with my car”
“Why?”
“I purposely ditched it, so I can share an umbrella with you. I heard it happen in those romance web-toon. I’m the male lead and you’re my female lead” He smiled.
“Quit the act, cuz there’s no way I’d share an umbrella with you”
“Really? Then have a nice day waiting for the rain to stop” Vincent said, turning to leave with the umbrella in his hand.
“Wait!” Dove said, wrapping her hands on Vincent’s wait, so that the umbrella will cover her.
Vincent looked at Dove’s hands that stayed firmly on his waist.
“So sweet!” He giggled, happily.
