“Seriously? You think I will let you leave my sight again?” He asked and Summer faced him
Tessa and Travis looked at each other
“What’s going on?” Tessa asked in a whisper
“I don’t know” Travis whispers back
“We can’t talk here” Summer finally said
“Where should we go then?” Kingsley asked still not releasing her hand
“My house,you can follow with your car…” She took a glance at the lady waiting for Kingsley
“You can’t come with her anyway” She rolled her eyes and removed Kingsley’s grip from her hand before walking away with the kids to the car.
Kingsley turned to the lady
“Can we just postpone this? I have something important to do” He said
“I will call you then” she smiled
Kingsley nodded and immediately got into his car,following Summer.

SUMMER’S HOUSE**
Travis and Tessa got down from the car and ran to Kingsley
“You’re welcome to our house,do you want me to show you around?” Travis grabbed his hand and Kingsley smiled
“Can you do that?” He asked
“Of course,our house is quite big” Tessa said and also hold his other hand
“Sure it is” Kingsley said
“Let’s show you the living room first” they started dragging him with them into the house. Kingsley looked back and his eyes met with Summer’s own,she kept a straight face and followed them.
“What do you think?” Tessa asked
“Wow,so amazing” Kingsley said,looking around
“Will you take us to your house too?” Travis asked
“If you want” Kingsley replied
“Yeah!!!!” They both shouted
“Kids,can you please go into your room?” Summer asked
“You’re not going right?” They turned to Kingsley immediately
“No I’m not,go on” Kingsley rub their hair
Tessa shrugged a little
“Come on,handsome guys don’t lie,let’s go” Travis grabbed Tessa’s hand and they both left
Kingsley faced Summer
“Come with me” She said and they both went into her room
“You must have a lot of questions” Summer muttered
“You don’t seem to be happy seeing me” Kingsley said
“You don’t look happy either” Summer said
“I am,I’m like the happiest person in the world right now. I’ve been waiting patiently for this day” Kingsley said
“Did you really waited?…..for me?” Summer asked
“Are you surprised? You think I’m going to forget about you and move on?” Kingsley moved closer
“I dunno,not all promises can be kept. I broke mine” She said
“Right,we promised never to leave each other. But it’s fine,some things are meant to happen” Kingsley said
“You won’t ask me why I left?” Summer asked
“I know you must have a reason,but then….did mom really threatened you? Was that why you left?” Kingsley asked
“How did you find out?” Summer asked looking surprised
“So it’s true” Kingsley sighed
“Why didn’t you tell me? We would have solved….”
“It’s not as easy as you think,I know I’m to be blamed but I couldn’t risk it”
“You don’t even know what I went through” Kingsley shook his head
“You once asked me…what if you left? And I said I would find you No matter what” He let out a short smile
“I guess I lost my confidence about finding you after few weeks and I always lost it completely” he added
“I know,I was selfish…..”
“No you weren’t,we should blame my mother for everything,not you” Kingsley said
Kingsley looked around
“I should have planted an automatic tracker on your body back then” he said and Summer chuckled
“How’s she?” She asked
He faced her
“Mother?” Kingsley asked and Summer nodded
“She left” Kingsley replied
“She must have learnt her lesson,and she decided to go back”
“Where?” Summer asked
“Canada,I don’t think I’m ever going to see her again coz I don’t really care about her” Kingsley smiled
“You look more beautiful” he said
“Did you get married? You have kids?” Kingsley asked and Summer scoffed
“What about you?”
“Me? I guess I’m going to get married soon now that I’ve found you” Kingsley said
“You don’t mind if I’ve gotten married?” Summer asked
“No I don’t” Kingsley shook his head and Summer smiled
“That’s not funny” She said
“I missed your smile” Kingsley muttered
“The twins….are yours” She said and Kingsley’s eyes widened
“Huh? Mine?” He asked and Summer nodded
“Few weeks after graduation,I discovered I was pregnant,but I couldn’t bring myself to tell you….”
“Why?!” Kingsley shouted
“You think I was going to deny it? Do you even love me like you claimed??”
“I love you..”
“I doubt that,If you loved me you wouldn’t keep my responsibility away from me” Kingsley said hurtfully
“I’m sorry”
Kingsley ignored her and turned toward the door,but before he could open,it opened and the kids ran in.
“Are you really our daddy?” Tessa asked looking up into his face
“Please tell us,we heard you talking to mommy” Travis said
Kingsley squatted in front of them as they stared at him,waiting to hear what he’s going to say
“You won’t h@të me?” He asked
They shook their heads
“I am” He said as tears roll down his eyes
Tessa and Travis hugged him at the same time
“I knew you would come back for us” Travis said
Kingsley held them both tightly
Tessa broke the hug and wipe his tears
“Stop crying,we love you” She said
“I love you too,I love you so much” Kingsley said and she hugged him again. After the long hug,Kingsley saw the necklace around Travis neck and touched it,and then the bracelet with Tessa.
“Mom gave us” Travis smiled and Kingsley nodded
“It’s pretty” He said and got up
He faced Summer
“I’m…..” Before the ‘sorry’ came out,Kingsley pulled her into a tight hug
“Thank you” he muttered
“Thank you for taking care of them…all alone,for taking care of yourself too,I think I can become happy once again” He said
Summer smiled and held him tightly
Travis and Tessa went in between,taking a part in the family hug too.
