[Flashback — Hours Ago]

“I’ve had enough of your nonsense! Get out!”

Indigo froze mid-step as Caspian’s furious voice rang from inside.

She swallowed hard.

Who was in there with him?

Who could have made him this angry?

Slowly, she moved closer and peeked through the door.

It was him… and Charlotte.

She blinked, confusion flickering across her face.

What was going on between them?

“I hate you, Cas!” Charlotte spat, her voice laced with fury. “I’ll save my friend from this hellhole tonight. Because if Ghost finds out what’s going on here, she’s gone—and it’ll all be my fault for bringing her here!”

She turned sharply and stormed toward the door.

Before she could open it, Indigo quickly hid behind the green flower pot nearby.

The door swung open. Charlotte walked out, seething.

Once she was gone, Indigo stepped out slowly.

A loud crash echoed from inside—something shattering violently—and she flinched.

She wanted to rush in…

But stopped.

“So it’s true?” she whispered, her lips trembling.

Charlotte yelling at Caspian… threatening to take her friend away…

That meant one thing.

Caspian was involved with someone.

Interested in her.

That must be why Charlotte was furious—because the girl’s life would be in danger if Ghost found out.

Indigo’s jaw tightened.

No wonder Caspian had been resisting her these past few days—something he could never do before.

So… he had a new doll?

Not just that.

He was attached to her?

Since when had she been around without anyone noticing?

Indigo bit down hard on her lip until it bled.

“I won’t spare that bitch,” she muttered darkly. “I’ll get her at any cost.”

Her fists clenched tightly.

“I’ll kill her.”

[Back to the Scene]

Indigo pulled the trigger.

The bullet tore into Annabelle’s back.

“Ahhh!!” Annabelle gasped, her body jerking violently as her steps faltered on the track.

For a second… she didn’t understand what just happened.

Then the pain hit.

Sharp. Burning. Spreading.

Indigo smirked, relief flashing through her eyes. Thank goodness she had figured out Charlotte’s plan… and got here in time.

Another shot rang out.

The second bullet pierced through Annabelle’s neck.

Her body gave in instantly, dropping to her knees.

Everything went still.

Too still.

Her breath came in broken gasps as warm liquid streamed down her body.

Trembling, she slowly lifted her hand to her back.

Her fingers touched something wet.

Sticky.

Her blood.

Her vision blurred.

Is… this real?

Her chest tightened painfully.

She didn’t even get to escape.

She didn’t even get a chance.

No one came to her rescue.

She was all alone.

Her eyes filled with tears as her body weakened, collapsing onto the cold ground.

Her lips turned dry, pale.

Her breathing shallow.

Indigo stepped in front of her and knelt down.

Annabelle felt her hair being yanked harshly, forcing her head up.

Her neck screamed in pain.

Her vision shook, darkness creeping in at the edges—but she could still see it…

That smirk.

Cold. Cruel. Satisfied. Right on Indigo’s face.

Annabelle tried to speak.

Her lips parted slowly.

But nothing came out—only faint, broken breaths.

Indigo laughed darkly.

Annabelle’s weak fists clenched against the ground, her nails digging into the dirt as she fought to stay awake.

She didn’t want to die.

Not like this.

Not without understanding.

“Why… did… you hurt… me… when… you’re Charlotte’s friend…?” she forced out, each word scraping painfully from her throat.

Her blood spread beneath her, staining the ground red.

Indigo chuckled.

“If I had known you were this soft, I wouldn’t have stressed myself all day thinking about you, fool.”

Annabelle’s brows twitched weakly.

Soft…?

Her chest rose and fell unevenly.

She wasn’t soft.

She was just… human.

Indigo’s face twisted with rage.

“How dare you think you could show up from nowhere and snatch Caspian away from me?!”

The slap came fast and hard.

Annabelle’s head snapped to the side.

A sharp ringing filled her ears.

Warm blood spilled from her nose and lips.

Her body barely reacted.

She was too weak.

Indigo grabbed her hair again, harsher this time, her grip merciless.

“You think this is funny?!” she snapped, smashing the butt of the gun against Annabelle’s cheek.

Pain exploded through her face.

Annabelle groaned softly.

Her fingers twitched helplessly.

“Why would Caspian hide you? Who are you, bitch?!” Indigo shouted, her voice echoing.

Annabelle’s vision flickered.

Faces flashed in her mind.

Oliver.

A faint memory of safety.

A faint promise of escape.

I should have trusted him… faster…

Her lips trembled slightly. She didn’t understand why she thinks that way too.

Could he come to her rescue?

But no sound came out.

Indigo suddenly exhaled, calming.

“Anyway…” she muttered.

“I’ll kill you before you stir up any drama. I don’t trust bitches like you around my man.”

Annabelle’s heartbeat slowed.

Each beat heavier than the last.

Her body was going numb.

Cold.

So cold.

Indigo stood up and tucked her gun away.

Then she grabbed Annabelle’s legs and began dragging her across the ground.

Pain shot through her body—but it felt distant now.

Like it didn’t belong to her anymore.

The forest floor scraped against her skin.

Her blood trailed behind her.

Annabelle’s eyes slowly lifted to the sky.

Blurry.

So this is how it ends…?

She didn’t belong here.

Not in this world.

Not in this cruelty.

Her chest rose weakly.

I just… wanted to leave…

A tear slipped from the corner of her eye.

Then—

Darkness crept in deeper.

Her body went limp.

Her breathing… barely there.

A release from this cruel world she never belonged in.

From the shadows, a figure emerged—watching everything silently—before turning and walking away as if nothing had happened.

Minutes later, Charlotte arrived.

Right on time.

But Annabelle was gone.

Her luggage—gone.
The blood—gone.
Everything—gone.

No trace. She couldn’t suspect anything had happened.

Charlotte frowned.

“Is she still sleeping?” she muttered, running a hand through her hair.

“This holy doll… I’m trying to save her, and she’s probably enjoying her beauty sleep.”

She sighed and walked away.

Soon, she arrived at her suite.

She checked the bedroom.

Nothing.

Bathroom, dressing room, kitchen and every corner.

Nothing.

Not even her belongings.

Charlotte froze.

She always believed she didn’t have a heart—but the way it was pounding now was unbelievably fast.

She pulled out her phone and dialed Annabelle’s number.

Switched off.

Her hands trembled.

Did Annabelle run away on her own… because she didn’t trust her anymore?

Or…

Was this Oliver’s doing again?

Her fists tightened around her phone before she smashed it against the wall.

“Damn it!!”

[Next Morning]

Kane walked into the gang’s swimming area, looking calm and soft as usual.

Kian, Robert, and Sky were in the pool, laughing.

“Hey, dude!” Sky called.

Kane sat on a nearby bench, crossing his legs, his hands resting on the table.

Kian rolled his eyes.

“You weren’t in your room earlier when we came looking for you,” Robert said.

“I went out for some fresh air,” Kane replied.

Robert nodded.

Sky swam to the edge and grabbed his glass of wine.

“Join us.”

“No,” Kane said, shaking his head.

“You know Kane and water are enemies,” Robert joked.

“But not as much as him and Kian,” Sky added with a laugh.

Robert snickered.

Kian glared at Kane.

Kane smirked.

“I hate him so much,” Kian muttered, his fists clenching.

“You should kill him then,” Sky whispered behind him.

Kian flinched and shoved him.

“Hey!”

Sky laughed.

“I’ve got a new babe for you.”

Kian’s eyes lit up instantly.

“Who is she? Is she hot? Big boobs and ass?” he grinned.

Sky winked.

Kian threw an arm around his neck.

“You’re my best friend. What’s her name? Her contact?”

“füç?er,” Robert laughed.

“Add pussy füç?er,’” Kian added proudly.

Sky and Robert burst into laughter.

“He’s impossible,” Kane muttered before standing and walking off.

Kian glared at his back, then turned to Sky.

“Go on. Talk.”

“Ghost’s beast’s pet,” Sky said.

Kian blinked. “Master O and C?”

Sky nodded.

Kian frowned.

“Who is she?”

“I don’t know either. Just rumors spreading around the clan.”

Kian scoffed and pushed him away.

“füç? off!”

He swam back into the pool as Sky and Robert laughed.

[Charlotte’s Suite]

“What are you going to do now?” Novella asked, sitting calmly at the dining table, eating a banana while Charlotte paced.

“I don’t know,” Charlotte said. “I checked Oliver’s suite and Caspian’s. She isn’t there. I also sent my men outside the clan—she’s nowhere to be found. They’re still searching.”

Novella shrugged, grabbing another banana.

“Then let them search.”

Charlotte sighed heavily.

“What if something bad has happened to her? I’m worried.”

Novella blinked dramatically.

“So a psychopath can feel something too? Tell me this worry isn’t just an act.”

Charlotte shot her a glare.

Novella mocked her expression.

Charlotte grabbed a knife and threw it at her.

Novella dodged quickly.

Her eyes widened.

“Hey—”

“You’re useless. Talking to you is a waste of time!” Charlotte snapped, lunging at her.

Novella rushed away.

Charlotte stormed off.

Novella held her chest, breathing fast.

“I need to be careful. She’s actually crazy.”

She paused.

“I’m too innocent to be here… poor me.”

[Dining Hall]

Almost all the gang members were present for breakfast.

The table was filled with meals, desserts, and fruits, their rich aroma filling the air.

Everyone ate in silence.

No one spoke.

But the way Robert and Sky kept exchanging glances showed their boredom.

They dropped their cutlery at the same time.

“Hey! Why is everyone so quiet?!” they said together.

Heads turned.

“It’s boring when there’s no drama,” Sky said. “I hate it.”

“Not everyone is a brainless fool like you two,” A member, Hook said.

Some people laughed.

Robert and Sky scoffed.

“You’re boring. Just shut up,” Sky muttered.

“I agree,” Another member, Kayla added, her tomboy appearance standing out.

“Thanks,” Sky said with a grin.

“It’s not funny,” Hook snapped.

“To you, Mr. Boring,” Robert cut in.

Hook shook his head.

“Now it’ll getting interesting,” Sky said, high-fiving Robert.

“Would you all just shut up?!” Indigo slammed her palm on the table.

Nora swallowed nervously.

“Who just barked?” Sky asked.

“The s£x doll,” Robert replied.

They both burst into laughter.

Indigo’s cheeks burned with embarrassment.

Kayla smirked.

“A slave is better.”

Sky and Robert laughed harder.

Indigo’s jaw tightened.

“You’re just a jealous bitch!” Nora snapped.

“Nope. I’m a lesbian,” Kayla winked.

Nora went silent.

Indigo stood abruptly and stormed off.

Nora followed quickly.

Sky, Robert, and Kayla laughed together.

Hook shook his head.

Meanwhile, Kian was busy texting one of his girls.

“Let’s meet by 10 PM.”

He smiled and pressed send.

Indigo’s Room

“What the hell!!” Indigo screamed, throwing a chair across the room.

Nora flinched.

“It was that bitch yesterday—and now that crazy lesbian too!” Indigo shouted, kicking the mirror.

Her breathing was heavy.

Nora swallowed nervously.

“I guess I’ll do to her what I did to that bitch,” Indigo snarled. “At any cost.”

“W-what?” Nora stammered.

“I’ll kill her too… and dump her in the forest,” Indigo said before she could stop herself.

Nora’s eyes widened in shock.

[Oliver’s Office]

“Master O,” Blake said, bowing as he entered.

Oliver didn’t look up from his laptop, fingers moving smoothly.

“I have information on Henry’s movement tonight.”

“Forward it to my email,” Oliver said shortly.

Blake hesitated.

“Master…”

Oliver looked up.

Blake swallowed.

“We could’ve saved her… if you hadn’t refused and ordered us to bury her,” he said quietly.

“Who?” Oliver asked.

“Charlotte’s friend,” Blake said. “It feels… wrong. I haven’t slept properly since last night.”

Oliver’s fingers finally stopped.

A dark smirk slowly spread across his lips.

“Don’t be a killjoy, Blake. I have my reasons,” he said, his voice dangerously low.

Blake stiffened.

“Don’t you think counting each piece of her skeleton bones after a week would be more interesting than saving her?”

Blake’s eyes widened in horror.

“Just wait for the fun,” Oliver added, grinning.
