Lia and her friends dragged Jayden to knee on a rooftop in the school, there Ava stood waiting for them.
“Please… please have mercy.” He cried.
“He wanted to transfer.” Lia said, and Ava smirked.
“You want to transfer, then go ahead.” She blurted, and kicked his stomach sending him straight to the floor
“I… I…” He shuddered.
“We aren’t done yet, Jayden. So why did you want to run off?” Ava teased.
She bend low to his level, and hit his head on the floor vigorously.
“Ava, what should we do with him?” Lia asked.
“I would give him a chance to take responsibility for his actions. He should jump off.” Ava said, and their eyes widened.
Jayden looked at her in fear, and tears flow freely down his face.
“Ava, isn’t that too much?” Alicia asked, and the others gave her a warning look.
“Then, you can make it easier by pushing him.” Ava said, and Alicia flinched in fear.
was about to add her comment when they heard Micheal’s broadcast.
“What? Sue us? How dare he say he would take legal actions when he was the one that posted that himself?” Lia shouted.
“What do we do now?” Alicia asked.
“This is Mike’s way of getting back at us.” Rae said.
“That piece of trash is trying to get his best moments from this.” Ava muttered, and they both looked at her.
“What do we do now, Ava? If he takes legal actions, I’m screwed.” Lia whined.
“Mike knows better than taking legal action against the only daughter of the chairman of KSB news, I’m sure it’s all for show.” Ava said.
“What if he meant it?” Lia asked.
“Then you take responsibility, it’s your house and your party. You were also the one that shared the video with him.” Ava blurted.
“What? How could you say such? It was all your idea.” Rae shouted.
“Do you’ve prove?” Ava fired back.
“Ava…”. Lia called in a sober voice.
“You peasant, I already gave you my condition, it’s either you take it now or you are forced to later on. Too bad, your grandmother loves you so much, and your parents have a lot of expectations for you. Would you go after your grandmother leaves? My foundation is the one sponsoring her treatment so it’s easy to send her off.” Ava said, and Jayden couldn’t control his tears.
“No, please don’t hurt my grandmother.” He cried and hold her legs, but she kicked his hands off forcefully sending him back to the floor.
“I’ve no use for you again, so just seize your chance now.” Ava said, and intend to leave but Alicia held her back.
“Ava, rather than that, I’ve a better idea.” Alicia said.
“Split it.” Ava blurted.
“We could just let him take all the blames. Austin saw him in that room, so he could as well take responsibility for everything, that way Lia would be spared.” Alicia said, and they all nodded.
“Seems like you would still be of use, but if you fail this time, you must disappear from my sight forever.” Ava muttered before leaving.

Paulina, Sage and Sophia left the rooftop and Sophia dragged Paulina away from Sage.
“Lina, who is he?” She whispered.
“A friend.”
“What sort of friend? When did you two met?”
“It’s a long story, Sophie. And besides he is right behind us.”
“Who cares? I’m strongly against him.” Sophia shouted, and Paulina looked at her.
“What are you talking about?” Paulina asked.
“Nothing, but I’m against him.”
“You don’t even know him, neither do you know what you are against.” Paulina teased.
“Fine, and I’ll get to know him now.” Sophia blurted, and went to Sage who was walking behind them. “Hey, can I know you?” She asked, and Paulina looked at her.
“Sophie.” She called.
“Sure. I’m Sage Greenwood.” He said, and stretched his hand for a shake.
“Sage Greenwood? The only son of Judge Patrica, and grandson of the world best attorney Louis Narson. Sage Greenwood, is that you?” She shouted, and he chuckled softly.
Paulina widened her eyes agape wondering how Sophia knew so much information about everyone.
“Yes, it’s a pleasure meeting you.” He said, and stretched his hand.
“Nooooo, no, no. The pleasure is mine.” She said, and received his hand with a bow.
“And you are?”
“I’m Sophia, you can’t know my last name.” She said, and he nodded.
“It’s nice meeting you.”
“Are you a new student? Because I didn’t know a Greenwood attend this school.”
“Yes, I resumed today.” He said, and Paulina looked at him.
“You are a new student?” Paulina said.
“Yeah.”
“You never mentioned that.”
“You didn’t ask.”
“Why did you transfer?” Paulina asked.
“Because I need to get my card back, and I don’t know how else we can meet again.” He said, and she looked at him in bewilderment.
“You must belong to the supreme class.” Sophia said, and he shook his head.
“No.” He muttered.
“What?” Sophia shouted. “But you are a Greenwood, how could you belong to a lesser class?” Sophia asked.
“I don’t know.” He replied.
“That’s nonsense, you should be in the supreme class. You are the only grandson of the world best lawyer, that’s ridiculous.” Sophia shouted.
“Why are you getting angry?” Paulina asked teasingly.
“Let me see your ID.” She said, and checked his card. “So you are in the middle class.”
“I guess.”
“This is nonsense, you should be in the supreme class.” She said, and he chuckled.
“I’m pleased with whatever class I’m, at least I got to attend the school.” He said, and Sophia looked at him in shock.
“Sophie, we should go to class. The bell giggled already.” Paulina said.
“This doesn’t make sense, you should do something about that.” Sophia said before leaving.
“I’m sorry about that, Sophia can be a handful at times.” Paulina said, and Sage chuckled.
“She is a funny one.” He said.
“We should go to class.” She said, and he nodded.
“Does it also bother you that I’m not in the supreme class? The school requested for some donations, I could still do it now.”
“No, it’s fine. Why waste money just to make it to that class. There is nothing special there. I wish I could even leave.”
“Why?” He asked.
“I don’t consider that a class.” She muttered, and he laughed.
They continued on their way, and he wrapped his hand around her shoulder. They got to the elevator, and saw the MASS inside.
Paulina’s eyes widened in shock, and she pushed Sage inside the elevator and ran off.
“Wait, Lina.” Sage shouted, and Micheal closed the elevator.
*
The MASS glared at Sage, and he managed to wave at them awkwardly before looking away.
“You must be Sage Greenwood.” Micheal said, and the nodded.
“Yeah, buddy. It’s a pleasure that you recognized me. We always meet at parties, but I never knew you noticed me.” Sage said, and Micheal chuckled.
“I don’t care about your existence. Your ID said it all.” Micheal said, and Austin laughed.
“Oh.” Sage muttered.
“Middle class?” Stanley blurted looking at the ID card.
“What? You are a low class and dares to talk to us!” Austin shouted.
“No, you talked to me first.” He said, and they all looked at him.
“Who do you think you are?” Austin shouted.
“Sage Greenwood.” Sage said, and patted Austin’s shoulder. “I’m getting off here, my floor.” With that, he pressed the elevator button and get off.
“Gosh… that low class got guts.” Austin shouted, and threw a fist.
“Why is he in the middle class? The Greenwood are influential people.” Stanley said.
“Why was he with Lina?” Micheal grumbled, and they all looked at him.
“What did you say?” Austin asked, unable to believe his hears.
“It’s time to get off.” Micheal said, and went out of the elevator, while they trailed behind him.
“Mike, did you seriously said that earlier, or I was hallucinating?” Austin asked, trying to catch his pace.
Michael ignored him till they got to their class and the students composed themselves immediately they entered.
“Hey, Lina. Spare me a minute.” He said, and everyone looked at him.
“The teacher.” Paulina said pointing at the teacher who just entered the class.
“Excuse us for a moment.” Michael said, and the teacher bowed slightly before leaving. “She is gone, now come with me.” With that he dragged
her out leaving everyone in shock. His friends wanted to follow, but he signaled them to stay back.
*
Micheal dragged Paulina out of the class, and she forcefully freed herself from him.
“What do you want from me?” She blunted out.
“Don’t be too aggressive. You should be glad that I’m giving you a chance to be close to me.”
“I don’t need it, so use it for someone else.” She blurted, and turned to leave.
“You aren’t like this that day. What’s giving you guts? Is it that Sage guy or whatever his name is called.” Micheal shouted.
“Take Sage out of this. And what are you even getting worked up over?” She asked, and he ran his hand through his hair in frustration.
“Listen, Lina, I’m just trying to protect you from Ava. She might have failed now, but she won’t back off. She can be more dangerous than she seems.” He said holding her, and she freed herself from him forcefully.
“So?”
“So?” He asked back in confusion.
“Why do you care?” She asked, and he let out a sigh.
“Listen to me, Lina…-“. He was saying when they heard a broadcast.
🎤*Hello everyone, I apologize for distracting us with this sudden announcement. I’m Jayden Rodriguez and I want to put everything back in place. I was the one behind the spy cam that recorded Michael Russ and Paulina, the camera was supposed to record Paulina and I together. Paulina and I have been in a relationship before she transferred here, and we intend to meet up in that room and record our blissful moment together but Micheal showed up and ruined everything. I didn’t intend to record Micheal, who am I to dare? Mind you, Paulina isn’t an elite as we all think, she received a special scholarship. I apologize for all the rumors spreading around, and I’ll take full responsibility for my ac…-“.
The broadcast ended, and Paulina shook her head. Micheal looked at her equally taken aback, and she continued shaking her head.
“I… I don’t know who he is, I don’t know what he is talking about.” She said, and Mike made a fist before leaving, leaving her dumbfounded.
*
Paulina went to the cafeteria rooftop, she couldn’t bring herself to return to class after Michael left. She felt completely lost, she could already tell that the broadcast was schemed by Ava but she couldn’t think of a way to clear her name. The principal can’t stand up for her, neither will the student believe her.
She sat there till school dismissed, then she started contemplating either to leave now or not when she felt a presence, and she looked up to see Sage.
“Sage.” She called.
“Lina, I was looking all over for you, I knew I’d find you here.” He said, and walked closer to her.
“You were looking for me? Why?” She asked, with hopes that he came to comfort her. .
“You still have my card.” He replied, and her face fell in disappointment.
“Oh, yeah. I should’ve returned it earlier.” She said, and wanted to get the card from her bag but he held her hand.
“Are you ok?” He asked, and she shook her head before breaking down in tears.
“It was all lies.” She cried, and he embraced her.
“I know. I believe you.” He muttered, patting her gently.
“But no one would believe me.” She cried harder, and he disengaged from the embrace.
“Who cares?” He asked, and she looked at him. “What matters is that you aren’t guilty, either others believe you or not shouldn’t stop you from standing up for yourself.” He said, and helped her wipe her tears with his handkerchief.
“Thank you, Sage.” She muttered, and he held her hand.
“You should go out there and defend yourself, I got your back.” He said, and she looked at him.
“Lina, tell me it’s not true.” Sophia shouted joining them. “Oh, Sage is also here.” She added, and started adjusting her hair.
“It’s not true, Sophie.” Paulina muttered, and Sophia went to embrace her.
“I knew it, I know you could never sloop so low.” Sophia said. “The nerve of that, Jayden. He even dare to call you a special scholar. Wait… are you real..-“. She was saying, but Sage cut in.
“…-that’s enough, Sophia. It won’t help her feel better.” Sage said, and Sophia nodded.
“I got your back, Lina, I trust you.” Sophia said, and Paulina managed to smile.
“Thank you guys, I’m so glad to be friends with you guys.” She said, and they both embraced her at a time.
“We got this, Lina. Let’s go.” Sage said, and they both held her, and together they left.
*
They all get to the hallway and students gathered around them. A student threw cake at Paulina, but Sage blocked it and got stained instead.
“Sage.” Paulina called.
“It’s fine.” He muttered.
“Look who we have here.” They heard Ava voice, and all the students paved way for her as she matched forward with her friends.
“Sage.” Alicia called, and wanted to go to Sage but Lia held her back.
“The low life parasite who thought she got lucky is here with her fellow musketeers. You Pretentious peasant!” Ava shouted, and wanted to kick her but Sage held her leg while everyone gasped. “Let me go!” She shouted, and he dropped her leg carelessly making her fall to the floor.
“Ava.” The LAR shouted, and ran to her.
“I can get up on my own.” She shouted, and stood up immediately. “You… you are going to pay for this. The both of you.” She threatened.
“What has she done so wrong to you? Does having a special scholarship made her a loser?” Sage shouted.
“Then what does that make her?” Ava fired back.
“It makes you the loser, because you think you have everything under control, and that is only agreeable among losers.” He blurted, and she wanted to slap him but he held her hand.
“Let me go.” She shouted.
“What if I don’t?” He teased, and she forcefully freed herself
She looked at him for a while and chuckled. “I’m willing to let this all go, Sage.”
“You even know my name.” He muttered, and scoffed.
“I’m willing to let her go and act like she doesn’t exist in as much as she doesn’t get on my nerves, and I’ll also clear off any sort of misunderstanding.”
“On what condition?” Sage asked.
“You knee to me.” She said, and everyone gasped.
“And if I don’t?” He blurted.
“I’ll ensure her scholarship is over, and her life will be over along with Jayden’s.” She blurted.
“Don’t, Sage, don’t.” Alicia whispered, and Lia gave her a warning look.
“You don’t have to get involved, Sage.” Paulina said.
“I thought school dismissed already.” They heard Michael’s voice from behind.
Everyone kept mute and started paving way for the MASS.
“What’s going on here?” Michael asked, and Ava glared at him.
“Stay out of this, Mike.” Ava blurted, and Micheal chuckled.
“I thought I made myself clear to everyone, Lina is special to me so nobody dares to hurt her.” He muttered, and everyone gasped.
👤”This is about to get wild.” The students mumbled awaiting the drama.
