Claire stared at him and sniffled,he gave her a handkerchief which she collected
She wiped the unstoppable tears and nodded

She started the car and nodded to the man

Inside,the theater smells of buttery popcorn and sweet churros
The lights dimmed and Moana 2 on screen made families smile on their seats
Not too crowded…almost empty

Kieran has this happy smile on his face as he stared at Ken by the right and then Kayla by the left
He looked back at Ken,he’s not even watching what’s on the large projected screen,he’s watching Kayla
“Dad,has momma become Moana or Maui?”he asked and Ken blinked, facing him

“So why’re you so lost?”Kieran asked again

Meanwhile, Jenevieve and Xavier sat far from them

Jenne’s attention was fixed on the cartoon and she’s looking like a baby to Xavier

He could remember the day she begged him to stay with her, how they watched movies together,how he told her he doesn’t have a girlfriend and how she told him everything about her

Jenne and Xavier left not long ago, Ken’s phone buzzed as he walked to his car with Kayla and Kieran
He halted and picked the call,he listened with widened eyes and hung up
“This is becoming serious”he muttered
“What?”Kayla asked behind him
“She’s been sold for six years now…. Claire’s sister”he turned to her
“The rich family got tired of her and sold her to a man,who in turn sold her to a young man”he added
“Jeanette…I don’t know but that name,seems I’ve heard it somewhere”Kayla muttered and Ken held her shoulders
“Are you sure?”He asked
“I guess buh I can’t remember”Kayla replied with a nod
“We’ve searched online, everywhere and still more hopes come that she’s alive”he said,they started walking to the car where Kieran stood, waiting for them
“Cause the more you find her buyers,the more you find out she’s been sent”Kayla replied
“You’re becoming a good Moll”Ken said and she scoffed
Ken helped Kieran open the car passengers door and he entered. Ken shut the door and opened the front passengers door for Kayla,she blushed
“Hop in”he tilted his head
She smiled and entered,Ken turned and joined them in the driver’s seat
The car drove off
•Next Day~Hotel•
Jenne walked in and out of the hotel building, peeking at her wrist watch every now and then
“It’s morning,he should be here already right?”she muffled to herself
She spotted Claire’s car driving in the compound and she suddenly wanna go burst that Tyre cause this dangerous looking woman is annoying her
Claire walked out of the car and walked towards Jenevieve
Jenne took her time to stare at her. She looks sad,yeah she covered her worried face with a straight one and makeover but Jenne knows she’s worried
Her eyes are red and it’s like she didn’t sleep throughout the night
She didn’t even see her last night. Maybe she’s been in her room or she’s just coming
Claire walked past her without saying anything and Jenne sighed.
Maybe she’ll ask her what’s up
“Jenne”Xavier got to her and she turned back to him
The atmosphere changed. Everything and everyone stopped moving for both of them

•Chad’s Mansion•
Chad rolled his eyes as Jeanette walked down the stairs
“Where’re we going?”she stood
“Can you fully come down and stop asking foolish questions?”Chad replied
“I don’t know if you wanna sell me,tell me why you suddenly asked me to dress up…I can’t go anywhere without knowing and besides, Jane’s supposed to be home thirty minutes from now, what if we don’t come back early enough?”Jeanette asked
“You wanna know where we’re heading,pig?”Chad sneered
“If pigs have the right to know,then Jeanette should know as a human, don’t you think, Chad?”she smirked
Chad opened his mouth this second and the next second,he shut it
“Impressive”he clapped
“Know this,I played a bet with my friends. We dropped money,lotta them,and we’ll be taking our wives with us…any füç?ing one who’s wife is the prettiest takes the money.so come down and let’s go”Chad said
“What about your sluts?”Jeanette asked
“You know you’re prettier than them all”Chad muttered
“I’m not going anywhere with you Chad”she shook her head and ran back upstairs
“Jean..you homeless pig! Come here this minute”he ran after her
Jeanette successfully entered Jane’s room and locked the door before Chad could get her
He started banging “if you don’t come out in ten seconds, I’ll kill you,trust me,you won’t live till tomorrow!”Chad screamed
Jeanette rested her back on the door and fell down, crying hard
“I feel like a loser….I miss you Claire”she muttered and covered her face with both palms
“Jeannnnnn,Ah swear!!!”Chad kept on banging
Jeanette is one stubborn woman, she’s not going to open the door even if he screams till tomorrow. But then,she remembered

As expected,she received a heavy blow from Chad
She fell on the floor, Chad rushed to her and gave her crazy punches of her life,like he was beating his fellow guy
Jeanette couldn’t fight him,she only cried and it’s even surprising he didn’t use anything or go harder on her
His punch is supposed to be harder than this…or maybe because he’s taking her out,he doesn’t want his friends to think he’s an abuser

Chad moved back, breathing hard
“Clean up and meet me downstairs, you’ve got two minutes”he glared and walked out
Jeanette wiped off her blood stained nose and rushed to the bathroom

Kayla entered and blinked “oh my gawd”She gushed looking at the dresses and heels

“Geez”she ran to a strapless gown with opening at the tigh, the color is teal and they’re gold decors on the neck

“Love it?”Ken entered,he stood by the exit and placed both hands in his pants pocket
“did I hear you say ‘it’? I love them all..I can’t even choose,Eddy”Kayla ran to him and he smiled hearing ‘Eddy’
She said it willingly. That’s nice
“Didn’t I tell a momma called Kayl that I’m gonna make it up to her?”He raised his left brow
“You did”she smiled and placed her right hand on his chest even without knowing
Ken was fast to hold her hand there,she blinked
“You can’t choose right?”he whispered
Other customers and staff watched them,but really they’re drooling over Ken

“Can’t you see he’s married (whispers)”

“Oh my gawd, look at his brown eyes”
“That’s Kennedy Jerkins. The youngest richest businessman in Germany (whispers)”
“Jeez,he centers on estates”

Kayla noticed the crazy stares,she smirked and placed her other hand on Ken’s cheek

“Take all”Those words escaped from his throat like nothing and Kayla gasped
She moved backward “w.what”she blinked
“You heard me Kayl, everything here can be yours if you want”Ken rested
“Are you serious right now? One of these is damn expensive. Are you a bank or something?”Kayla half yelled
“Maybe”Ken tilted his head
Few people laughed. Lovers ‘whoaed’
99% of the females became wet on their spot. It’s like they’re seeing a handsome dude for the first time in their lives
“Are you also into armed robbery?”Kayla got to him and whispered to his ear
“Maybe”Ken shrugged,she punched him on the chest playfully
“Call your manager”the seriousness returned to Ken’s face.
A staff rushed out and came back sometime later with a middle-aged woman
All this while, Kayla stared at Ken in confusion
“I want Mrs Won to see you and not recognize you”Ken whispered to her and walked to the manager.
Kayla couldn’t even talk. He knows about her former boss?
She got conscious when she heard Ken’s voice
“I’m buying every damn dress in this hall and if my baby says it’s not enough,take her to the next section”Ken dropped the bombshell
