Charles watched Violet/Carolyn as she ate hungrily annoying him.

“I guess I am the only one concerned about how you can leave that body?” he snapped, and pushed his laptop away.

“Do you think I am having fun here? I can’t even imagine how anyone could live like this girl,” she said, with mouth full of beef.

“I think you are enjoying a blast. You have been eating since you got here, while Mr. Feng and I are both worked up, researching on how to get you out of that body!”

“It might seem that way, but it’s the complete opposite. You won’t say all these if you knew how much I suffered last night. This girl is suffering than any creature that exist,”

“With a face like that… it can’t get worst,”

“What did you find?”

“Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Everything here is fiction, no accurate information about ghosts,”

“And… Mr. Feng…” she grumbled.

“I have been reading different novels for the past hours, and they all have variety of narrative about ghosts,”

“Let’s focus on the possession part, and we could try all the ways, one should work. Else… we will have to tolerate this ugly face even longer. Gosh, even the beautiful smile is gone!” he said, and Violet smiled.
“Don’t try it! It’s ugly. Of all body to possess…”

“I didn’t choose this, I didn’t even know I was going to possess it!”

“You were trying to stop her from committing suiclde, and you suddenly possess her body. You’re too nosy, and that’s what you got for that!Mistress, my foot. If you don’t leave that body, our deal is over!”

“This girl has so maby reasons to commit sulcide…”

“What did you think happened to her now that you possessed her body?”

“I don’t know. I am not knowledgeable in that area,”

“You’ve no knowledge at all, and you will have to live that way for the rest of your life!”

“Why—…” she was saying, when they heard the doorbell.
“Oh, the pizza is here!” she said with brighten eyes, and hurried to get it.

“Gosh, I am the only one bothered here,” Charles grumbled, glaring at her.

She returned with the pack of pizza all smiles, and winked at him before taking a bite.

“It’s settled. You finish that, and leave!”

“What? Are you abandoning me?”

“What should I do? Accommodate you here and feed you? You aren’t even my type, so you have nothing to offer me “ he rolled his eyes.

“I thought you would know little about this. You were with your mother…”

“My mother never possess anyone before! So mind your speech,”

“But you know a lot about ghosts and all that,”

“I never said I know about possessing. If I do, I would have to tell you the kind of body to possess. Not this one,”

“I can’t choose this body either. Being a ghost is better than being stuck here,”

“Well, good for you,”

“I think I found it,” Mr. Feng said, and they both looked at him.

“What?” they both chorused.

“The solution,” he replied, and they both ran to him.
*
Violet whimpered as she hit her head on the wall for the fourth time.

“I can’t do this anymore. It might not be my body, but it’s hurting me,” she whined.

Mr. Feng reed in a novel ‘Who’s she?’ about a ghost hit her head on the wall severally until she was able to leave the body she possessed.

“That’s how it’s supposed to work. When you are hurting too much and can’t withstand it anymore, you will be out of the body “ Charles teased.

She hits her head severally until it swelled, and she stopped.

“I can’t! I am not doing this!”

“Then, leave!”

“Charles, come on. Let’s see what we can do together in this body,”

“What can we do together? Don’t ever put it that way!”

“I’m still your mistress,” she said, battling her lashes cutely.

“Hey! That’s gross! Not with that body! No, never! You are making me go insane. Don’t try to act cute with me,”

“Sir, since this doesn’t seem to work, why don’t she try asking around,”

“Ask who?” they both chorused.

“Fellow ghosts, of course. There must be ghosts around who are more experienced in this area,”

“What…” she shuddered.

“Have you been wandering around uselessly and tormenting my life without trying to befriend your kind?”

“Actually….”

“Actually, what?! Mr. Feng is right, that might be our only way out. You can’t hurt yourself, and you can’t live in that body. We must solve this somehow,”

“Well… I’m not really…”

“Just say it. Say the word that you have no ghost friends so I can send you way!”

“No, I do!”

“You do?”

“Yes, Daisy,”

“Is she pretty?”

“Does that matter?”

“She has a beautiful name,”

“Gosh. Is that all that matters to you now?”

“Where can you find her?”

“That valley, she also dled along that road,”

“So, you have to go to a valley to see her?”

“Let’s give it a shot, Charles,”

“Of course you should. Get going, don’t return till you are out of that body,”

“What? Aren’t you coming with me?”

“Why would I?”

“Please… I can’t even teleport anymore. I…” she was saying, and her stomach started to grumble.

“Is that you?” he ask.

“It can’t be me,”

“What do you mean it can’t be you, you aren’t a ghost anymore!” he said, and her face widened.

“I think it’s me,” she muttered, holding her stomach as she felt the urge to fart.

“What’s wrong with you?”

“The toilet…” she slurred, and fart loudly.

“What the…” Charles shouted, and ran off, followed by Mr. Feng.

“Wait… the toilet…” she grumbled, and released another fart.
**
Charles parked his car somewhere close to the valley, watching Violet who was wandering around.

“Of all body to get stuck in, can’t she find a prettier body?” he grumbled, and rolled his eyes.
“Hey! We’ve been here for almost an hour, are you sure that friend of yours really exist?”

“What do I do? What if she isn’t coming today?” she whined.

“I doubt if she even exist in the first place,”

“She really does. Her name is Daisy, she warned me about this place the last time,”

“How maby times have you seen her here?”

“Well…”

“Do you lost count?”

“I actually don’t care about ghosts… so…”

“Answer the d@mn question!”

“You’re raising your voice,”

“If you don’t talk now, I’ll leave,”

“Wait! Please, don’t go. I’ll talk,”

“Start speaking,”

“I didn’t lie about Daisy, she really exists. But… we aren’t friends as I claimed,”

“Are you enemies?”

“Not that either. We only talked once, and I don’t know,”

“Goodness…” he exclaimed, running his fingers through his hair.
“So we are here to find a ghost that you barely know? We don’t even know if she will ever come back here!”

“I’m sorry…”

“I’m done with you!”

“Charles, please…” she pleaded, and held him.

“Don’t f¥cking touch me with those hands!” he snapped, and jerk her hands away.

“Why don’t we try another way?”

“What other way?”

“There should be another way…”

“Then say it!”

“The cemetery!”

“The what?”

“I heard that ghosts are always in cemetery, we should visit the cemetery,”

“You’ve completely lost your mind!”

“I really don’t know what to do,” she cried.
“This body is every bad thing in this world, why am I being emotional now?” she thought, unable to control her tears.
**
Charles drove to a cemetery, and Violet alighted from the car.

“Why don’t you come out?” she asked.

“Why would I?”

“What if there are ghosts here and I can’t see them? I don’t know if I can see ghosts in this body, I couldn’t see ghosts until…”

“You want me to come out and help you look for the creatures I have been avoiding all my life?!”

“Please…” she grumbled, battling her lashes, cutely.

“I told you to stop that!” he snapped. “It doesn’t suit that face,” he grumbled in a whisper.

They both wander around together, but there was no sign of a single ghost.

“I guess those tales were all lies. We haven’t seen a single ghost since,” she said.

“I guess…”

“You should know if it’s true. You must’ve visited your mother…”

“I never did,”

“You never?”

“Yes. I was scared of those tales. I didn’t want to be hunted by a ghost or evil spirt, but look at me now. Going around with a possessed spirit to find a ghost. I must have lost my mind,”

“I don’t think we will find any. The spirits here have probably rested,”

“Maybe you should rest in that body as well,”

“What? How can you be so mean?”

“You’re the one being mean here! Why must I do this with you?”

“You’re just being generous,”

“I already told you before now, I’m not a good person. I loathe doing good deeds!”

“You can’t be the judge of that,” she said, staring directly at him.

“Don’t look at me with those eyes!” he snapped, and she instantly looked away.

“Why are you being so mean? Is it because I am not a ghost anymore, or because I am stuck in this body?” she shouted, and the few people around looked at them.

“They must be crazy,” they grumbled.

“Crazy indeed,” Charles grumbled, finding his way to his car.

“Wait for me!” Violet shouted, running after him.

They returned to the car and he inhaled deeply.

“What now?”

“Well… I believe here aren’t… yeah! Have you ever heard of the scary cemetery?”

“No, no, no, no, no. Not that place. I am sure it’s filled of evil spirits,” he whined.
**
The ride to the scary cemetery lasted close to an hour, and they both gave each other an assurance smile before going in.

They walked carefully around the cemetery, and Violet screamed when a bug crawled on her face.

“Arghhhh!”

“What? What? What’s it?”

“I think…”

“It’s just a bug,” Charles said.

“Yeah, it’s just a bug,”

“Are you sure this is right?”

“I don’t know,”

“What do you know?”

“That ghosts don’t come out in the sun,” she said, with brightened eyes.

“So, what?”

“That might be the reason why we didn’t see anyone both here and there,”

“Then, what do you suggest?”

“That we come back later at ni—“

“Stop that! Never! Evil spirits wander around at night. They are really scary, you don’t want do risk that,”

“But what do we do?”

“We?”

“Come on…”

“I told you that you’re on this alone!”

“But here you we are, together,”

“Exactly, what am I doing here with you?”

“Because we are on this together,” she said, and he shot her a glare, heading to his car.
“Wait for me!” she shouted, running after him.
*
They wait behind in a restaurant till sun set and night started drawing near, they both returned to the cemetery and their gaze met, followed by an assurance smile before alighting from the car.

The moment they came down from the car, a mice passed beside them, and they both screamed in fear.

“It’s just a mice, it’s just a mice,” they chorused, trying to catch thier breath.

They were about to step in when Charles held Violet back.

“Are you sure about this?” he asked, and she shook her head in fear.
“What? You—… neither am—…” he was saying, when his ringing phone interrupted what he was saying.

He checked the caller’s ID, thinking it’s Mr. Feng, but to his surprise, it was Mr. Marson.

“It’s Mr. Marson,” he said, and her face brightened up.

“Receive it! That means he is now an alliance,”

“But what can we do?”

“What do you mean?”

“Your current situation..”

“Oh, that? Mr. Marson can’t see me anyways, so it’s all good. There is very little I can do as a ghost, anyways,”

“I’m glad you are aware of that,” he said, and returned the call that already ended.

They agreed on a place to meet, and he dropped the call.

“He wants us to meet now,”

“Let’s get going,”

“Do you know the distance we drove to come here? We are far from town,”

“What do we do? I can’t even teleport anymore…”

“Who is relying on your creepy teleportation!” he snapped, and called Mr. Feng.

He dropped his call, and they were about to return to the car when they saw an evil spirit approaching them.

“What’s that? Is that an evil spirit…” she grumbled, pointing at it and Charles eyes widened in fear.

“What? Are you waiting for it to answer you?’ Runnnnn!” he shouted, and grabbed her hand running to the car while the evil spirt ran after them until he drove off.

“That’s so scary. What if it follows us?” she whined.

“It won’t. It doesn’t know where we are headed,”

“It’s so scary, I have never seen an evil spirt before,”

“Well, then we could say something good resulted from being stuck in that body, you brought us here, and you were able to see an evil spirit. Good, right?” he snapped, and she snubbed him before looking away.
“What a day,” he grumbled, rolling his eyes.

“We can’t even know if it’s following us, we can’t see it through the mirror. This is frustrating,” she remarked, looking back.

“You were like that until you found yourself that tacky body,” he jeered, and she scoffed with pouted lips.
*
Mr. Feng went to pick them with a helicopter back to home, and they went to their meeting place with Mr. Marson.

“Mr. Marson, I hope I didn’t keep you waiting?” Charles said, extending his hand for a shake.

“Who’s she?” Mr. Marson blurted, referring to Carolyn/ Violet.

“Oh, she…” Charles grumbled.

“It’s nice to meet you again, Mr. Marson, it’s me, Violet,” Violet said all smiles, and they all looked at her.

Charles shook his head in defeat , and Mr. Marson eyes widened in anger.

“Am I a joke to you all?!” he lashed, and they all looked at him, defeated.
