Celia gently opened her eyes and scanned her environment confused to see herself in an unknown room.
The IV drip passed to her body triggered her memory, and she instantly remembered everything that happened.
“I shot a man, I really did,” she thought and felt shiver down her spine.
The door suddenly opened and she was startled to see Lord Dom and Jake.
She tried to get up but he stopped her and she instantly remembered Aria. She passed out in the woods after shooting that man, and Aria was left alone l. The thought of the boar attacking her afterwards or another person attacking her instantly alerted her.
“How’s Aria?” she asked.
“She’s fine and worried about you. You should recover on time to serve her properly. She saved you,”
She let out a sigh of relief that Aria was safe but then… she shot a man, and couldn’t get that off her head.
“No… I shot a man, I really shot a man… he dled… he really dled…”she cried, and the men looked at her wordlessly.
“He would’ve shoot Aria if you if haven’t shot him first,” Lord Dom said, and she shook her head in tears.
“No, I shot him. He dled, I shouldn’t have, I shouldn’t have kllled someone. It was bad… I am a bad person. Bad things happens to bad people, I’m a bad person. I’m a bad person to wish that the loan shark harvest my father’s organs, and now I’m a bad person to klll a man…” she cried.
Lord Dom and Jake exchanged glances, and Lord Dom shook his head in disbelief. He has always thought that she was related to his attack in Chicago, and was sent to his house from the East to manipulate his daughter. But what he was seeing in her now is just an innocent college student who believes in doing good deeds.
“He didn’t dle,” he found himself saying, with hopes that it will console her.
“No, he dled. He fell down after I shot him. How did I do it? How did I even fired the gun?”
“I said he didn’t dle!” he snapped, startling her.
“Hun?”
“The doctor saved him, he is alive,”
“Oh… that’s a relief. How is he? Can I see him?”
“What will you do if you see him? Thank him for living? Thank him for not turning you into a murder? Thank him for clearing your conscience?”
“It was never right to shoot him from the start,”
“But he would’ve shot Aria! It won’t end there, he will klll you too. What could you have done in that moment? Leave him to live so you can dle as a righteous person?”
“But…”
“Not buts! If you’re going to be this way, you aren’t fit to be my daughter’s nanny! Why did you entered mh mansion? Do you think any good person can survive here?”
“I—“
“I should’ve left you to dle as a righteous person,” with that, he stormed out and Jake followed.
Celia gasped when he stormed out, she wasn’t expecting him to take everything that way but she still managed to breathe in relief at the thought that the man didn’t dle.
“Who was that man anyways? Why would anyone want to klll Aria?” another thought came to her mind and she started to panic at the thoughts that they had enemies.
The door suddenly opened again, and she jumped in fear as a woman walked in.
“Hi, I see you’re awake,”
“Who’re you?”
“I’m Doctor Lucy, your doctor,”
“Oh, we’re at a hospital?” she grumbled, looking around
“This is Lord Dom’s mansion. His medial facility,”
“Oh… they’ve a medical facility…”
“How’re you feeling now?”
“Much better. Doctor, a man got shot… how’s he?”
“Oh, he’s fine,”
“Can I see him?”
“He left earlier,”
“What? To where?”
“The men here are really strong. They tend to recover quickly, and I can see you’re strong too,” she said, and Celia chuckled.

Lord Dom entered his office and Jake looked at him wordlessly.
“Wait. Why’s she like that? Why does she have to be worried about the villain?! Why?!” he yelled, and Jake looked at him confused, wondering why he was affected by that.
“Boss… I don’t think she could be sent from the East,”
“That’s not the point. Why was she shaken? Why is she too weak? Shooting him was an act of defense. Self-defense. So why was she worried,”
“It was likely her first,”
“Were you that shaken the first time you shot someone?”
“Not really, my father made sure that didn’t happen,”
“How?”
“Boss, should we really be discussing this?”
“No we shouldn’t. But why am I discussing it?”
“Boss, I believe your suspicion has subside seeing that you’re worried about her weakness,”
“I don’t want weak people around Aria. It will put her life in danger,”
“So… should we get rid of her?” Jake said, and he shot him a glare.
“I gave Aria my word, but having a weak woman like that around will put Aria’s life in danger, so you should train her,”
“What?”
“Do you’ve any objections?”
“No, boss, but…”
“No, buts! My blood runs in that woman’s vein, and the only way she can repay it is by serving my daughter. She can’t do that properly if she is that weak,”
“I’ll carry out the order, boss,”
“A weak spy, no, she can’t be a spy. If she is related to whatever happened in Chicago, then there must be another connection somehow. What could it be?” he thought.

***IN THE WESTERN PART OF NEW YORK***

LORD GREYJOY’S (Bianca’s father) MANSION^^^
^
Bianca wobbled an unsteady feet as she made her way to her father’s living room. She has been avoiding him since she arrived, but she couldn’t do anything when he summoned her.
She entered inside and met Jay who bowed slightly before looking away. Jay was originally her father’s righthand man until she bought him to her side. He is now more loyal to her than her father.
“Insolence!” her father yelled, and before she could utter a word, he landed a resounding slap on her face, sending her straight to the ground.
No matter how strong she gets, she can never beat him.
“Father, I—“ she was saying, but he kicked her tummy.
Jay counted few steps closer to them with clenched fists and she shook her head to caution him. If he acts rashly and gets executed, she will really be alone with her father.
“I sent you to Dominic because you assured me that you will restore your engagement, but since you failed, I will send an envoy to the East to fix a date for the wedding,”
“Father, will you really choose to collide with the East? We’re doing just fine,”
“Shut up! You know nothing. The only reason I’m condoling you is because you still have some use for me. Thanks to you, I got full authority over the West, now I want the East. If I have to sell you off to all the powerful bosses in the world to get what I want, I will,”
“Father…”
“Get ready to depart to the East. Jay, send an envoy to the East as soon as possible,”
“Yes, boss,” Jay muttered, with clenched fists.
“You. I don’t want to leave any scar in your body that’s why I held myself back, so put yourself together and get out,”
“You can’t beat Dominic, father. Even if you are join forces with the East!” she lashed, and he wanted to hit her but Jay was quick to held his hand.
“How—“
“You said she mustn’t have a scratch,” Jay interjected, and Bianca stormed out.
*
She returned to her quarter and Jay joined her almost immediately.
“Why’d you act recklessly?”
“I couldn’t bear to watch him hurt you,”
“But there is nothing you can do! All you can do is watch with clenched fists. There is nothing you can do! You’re a good for nothing!” she yelled, and broke down in tears.
He went to get ice for her swollen face and made her sit on the couch.
“Jay, I already thought of a punishment for you,”she said as he gently pressed the ice on her face.
“I’ll carry it out without hesitation,”
“Get rid of my father. That’s your punishment,” she said, and he chuckled.
“I’ll do that either it’s a punishment or not. I’ll make you the most powerful Lady in New York. If I have to get rid of everyone to do it, then I will,” he said, and kissed her but she pulled away.
“Anyone could come in,” she muttered.
“Then I’ll get rid of them too,” he said, wetting her face with kisses.

^^LORD DOM’S MANSION^^
^
Celia was preparing to return to Celia’s quarter after few days of receiving treatment.
“I’m so glad that you’re now healthy to leave, Celia,” Doctor Lucy said, and she smiled.
For the few days she spent there, the doctor has been her only companion. She might have gone cr@zy from boredom if the doctor didn’t keep her company.
“Thanks a lot, Doctor,”
“Don’t mention. It’s my duty,”
“Doctor, I’m curious about something…”
“Go on, ask away,”
“Do you work here? Like… you have a permanent office here?” she asked, her curiosity piqued.
The doctor chuckled, “Not really. Lord Dom offered to pay me trice as much as I was paid in the hospital I worked and I accepted. But I volunteer mostand only come here when needed,”
“Oh..,”
“Speaking of volunteering. Duty calls. Take care of yourself,” she waved, before leaving.
“Such a talented doctor,” she thought.
*
She carried her bag and opened the door, startled to see Lord Dom by the door.
“You… I mean, sir…”
“Even though I saved your life, Aria insisted that you got hurt because of her and you saved her life so it’s not even. Name it, the price, I’ll grant it,” he said, confusing her.
“Price of what? What price?”
“Of saving my daughter. I hate debts. I’ll grant anything,”
Even though it was her job to protect Aria, she was overjoyed by the thought of taking advantage of that opportunity. Although, she doesn’t know how much to charge for saving a little monster.
“Really? Anything?” she gaped, in wonderment.
“You can request a fortune, you can request to leave with the fortune, you can request a life, anything. Name it,” he said, and she opened her mouth agape.
She was stunned as many things ran through her head. She could request for a fortune and return to Chicago. Restart her life like nothing ever happened — return to school, pay off the loan sharks if they’re still after her, and live her life to the fullest; quitting all her part-time jobs.
“This is a blessing!” she found herself screaming inwardly.
She smiled brightly and wanted to talk when her gaze landed on his tattoo and all the thoughts on her head vanished. The only thing she got curious about was the dragon tattoo. No matter how hard she tried to convince herself,, the tattoo was different from all the ones she saw on the internet,; the dragon has a unique design and it was the same as her nightstand.
“Can I also ask a question?” she found herself asking.
“If that’s your wish, I’ll answer it honestly,”
“Are you Mr. Dragon?” she found herself asking, and he looked at her, confused, “My nightstand… was it you?” she asked, and his eyes widened.
The sudden question brought a lot of questions to his mind as well because he couldn’t remember what happened that night, in Chicago.
