Dominic Lombardi, the mafia boss of New York City; in the underworld they don’t call him by his name, they call him Lord Dom because he rules the underworld.
He arrived in New York City airport from his business trip to Chicago and was welcomed by the reports of all the troubles his daughter has caused.
“She injured all the interviewees?”
“Many of them,”
“Are they all alive?”
“Yes boss, but few are in a critical condition,”
“How did you handled it?”
“I already contacted the agency, and we’ve taken care of all the compensation,”
“Are they still sending more people?”
“They’re sending someone over today. She is 19, a college student on break,”
“I need a full-time nanny, why would they send a student over?”
“I felt like the CEO is relent considering what happened to the others. He probably sent a pushover,”
“Her information,” he said.
He collected the tablet and removed his sunglasses the moment he saw her picture. She looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn’t predict where he saw her.
“Boss, is there a problem?”
“I think I have seen her before,”
“Oh, she has a common face, you might be mistaken,” he said, and Lord Dom shot him a glare.
“Frown…” Lord Dom grumbled.
“Forgive me, boss,” Frown trembled.
“Stop the car,” he ordered, and the car stopped, “Get out, and run along,” he added, and Frown alighted from the car without hesitation.
Another glance at the tablet, and he put it away before wearing back his sunglasses.
“Step on it,” he ordered, and the driver increased the speed

He arrived at his mansion and all his boys salute him and he summoned one of them.
“Where is Jake?” he asked.
“Here I am boss, welcome back, boss,”
“Lead the way to the interview room,”
“Yes, boss. This way,”
“How did you handled all the legal issue we had?”
“It’s being settled, boss,”
“Why hasn’t it been concluded?”
“The zone 2 issue was directed at a lawyer, she refused to give up the case,”
“Then make her lose her license. Must I always tell you what to do?!” he lashed, and Jake flinched.
“I’ll get to it, sir,”
They talked about other things until they got to the interview room and Jake waited behind.
He burst into the room, and was welcomed by the news he least expects.
“Daddy, she‘s my new nanny!” his 7-year-old daughter shouted, and ran into his embrace, startling him.
“That’s good. I’ll take it from here,” he said, patting his her hair.
She smiled brightly and excused them, and he gestured the nanny his daughter chose to come closer, the 19-year-old girl.
He found himself checking her out as she dragged her feet in fear towards him. She chose to attend the interview even though she was that frightened, and due to some reasons, his daughter chooses her.

Getting a nanny for his daughter since her last nanny was diagnosed with a terminal illness and was hospitalized abroad has been a struggle. , she rejected all the nannies presented to her, and he allows her have full authority over the interview when he went to Chicago and she handled the interview herself, harming the interviewees in the process. Her decision to gladly accept the timid girl that was obviously too scared to look him the eyes baffled him.

As she walked closer, he couldn’t deny that she looked familiar. He has met a lot of people in his life but he has a retentic memory and barely forget those he encountered, that’s how he made it that far, but he can’t figure out where he met her.
“What? Mr. Dragon!” she shouted, and covered her mouth with her hand when she walked closer.
He removed his sunglasses immediately, snd shot her a glare wondering if she doesn’t know where she was — his reputation earned him several nicknames and that was one of his nicknames.
“Pardon?” he muttered, his voice low but intimidating — he tried to be calm because his daughter chose her.
She fell on her knees immorally with her head bowed, shivering in fear.
“I… I… I’m sorry… please don’t klll me…” she whimpered, and he chuckled.
She’s an innocent frail woman, so he wondered if she was oblivious to the place she was coming beforehand.
“That voice. I have heard it before… was it in Chicago? Is she an enemy? Why did my daughter choose her?” he thought looking at her.
“Please… don’t klll me…” she cried.
“Give me a reason why I shouldn’t klll you?” he asked trying to figure out something, and she gasped in fear.
“Pleas don’t klll me… I did nothing wrong, I have always try to live an honest life even though my life is hard. I never stole from anyone and I never cheated anyone. Oh… my only crime was wishing that the loan shark take my father away. If that is my sin, I’ll repent for that for the rest of my of life. I’ll leave New York, I’ll go far away… please don’t klll me…” she cried, and he chuckled, amazed by her innocence.
“If she is this daunt, then why did she entered my vila?” he thought.
She was the nanny his daughter chooses, so there was no way he could harm her even if he has a countless reasons to, although, all he had was his assumptions.
“Why should I be the one to punish you for that? There was a time I wanted my father out of the way myself,”
“Sir?” she asked, lifting her head up.
“I’ll let you live if you do a job in babysitting my girl,” he said, and she looked at him in shock.
“What? You want me to be her nanny!” she shouted.
“Why? Isn’t that what brought you here?”
“No. I mean… yes, I mean…” she shuddered in fear.
He shook his head wondering why he can’t predict her.
“My daughter already chose you, you’re hers now,” he said, and she instantly remembered the big boss she escaped. He also had such vigor, like he own her. But being owned by a little m0nster was never in her expectations.
“I’ll send the contract to your agency so we can seal your employment ,”
“Wait. What? Wait. I mean… when do I resume?”
“Now,”
“What?” she shouted, her eyes widened in shock.
“You resume the moment you’re hired,”
“Wait. Fine, I’ll be her nanny, I’ll resume today, but I still have to go home to get my things and also tell my cousin about this. Or, do I have a resume time?”
“The moment you’re in here, you don’t leave unless I order you you to,”
“Wait… I’m not complaining about your policy or anything, I wholeheartedly want to work with you, but… I mean, I have some valuable things I need to get, and also my cousin I..”
“Is anyone there?” he shouted, the door burst opened immediately, and Jake walked in.
“Boss,” he bowed, and handed a tablet to Lord Dom.
“Take it from here,” Lord Dom said, and spun around to leave.
“What? You can’t just leave! We are still talking!” she shouted, and wanted fo run after him but Jake blocked her path.
“I’ll take it,” Jake said, and she looked at him in the tears.
“Are you also stuck here like me?” she cried.
“I don’t think I have to answer that,” he said, and she noddded wiping her tears.
“It’s obvious, you aren’t. I’m the only one stuck here. I can’t even see my cousin, she doesn’t even know where I am,” she cried.
“Emma Britton?”
“What? How do you know my cousin?”
“She has already been informed that you’re working here. So you don’t have to worry,”
“What… you did what? Wait. What you did was right, I am not questioning your judgment. But… ok, at least give me my phone,” she said, and he gave her a phone.
“This is not my phone,”
“All the important contacts are saved there according. That’s your phone now. You’ll get whatever you brought here back when you’re leaving this place,” he said.
“That can’t be!” she shouted.
“You signed the agreement. No. 4,” he said, and she instantly remembered the interview agreement.
“But… I never knew that I won’t be able to leave,”
“I believe I have answered your question,”
“And when can I leave?” she whimpered in fear.
“When the boss order you to,”
“What?”
He gave her a map, and also a small book that she was too scared to open.
“That’s a map for the places you are permitted to roam around, you mustn’t be seen anywhere else expect it’s a command or you’re in little lady’s company,”
“And this book…”
“It’s the rules and regulations you have to follow around here. Take your time to read it,” he said, and she nodded.
“Do I have to use map to find my way around? The house is quiet… I mean… it’s really big,”
“I’ll lead the way to little lady’s quarters,” he said, and she nodded in fear.

After passing through so many corridors, they used the elevator to another side in the house, leading to the little lady’s quarter.
“This is little lady’s quarter, I’ll take my leave from here,” he said, and she held him back.
“Wait,” she found herself said, and he looked at her and glanced at his hand.
“What?”
“Your name… what’s your name?”
“Pardon?”
“I mean… I might have other questions,” she grumbled
She already accepted her fate, and she thought that making friends would be a good start and he also seems less scary and gentle from the others she met, although she never had a conversation with them.
“There won’t be any use for that,” he said, and turned to leave.
“I’m Celia! It’s fine if you don’t want to tell me your name,” she said, and he turned to look at her.
“Jake, his name is Jake,” she heard the little lady say from behind, the little m0nster she was stuck with.
“Little lady, I’ll take my leave now,” with that, Jake left.
Celia turned around, and her face met the little lady’s smile, her heart skipped a beat as she remembered everything that happened earlier.
“Come with me, Celia, I’ll show you around. That map is no use,” the little lady said, smiling brightly.
Unlike the little m0nster from earlier, she looked so innocent as any child of her age would look, but Celia refused to be swayed, escaping from that place is her major concern.
