” Did you guys find her ” Mrs Cristal said to her guards
“No ma’am but don’t worry I have sent out more of our men to search for Mrs Belinda ” Kendrick the chief security of the el Rosa’s said with a bow .
” Have you tried contacting Mildred ” Mrs Cristal ask
” Yes ma’am , Mrs Mildred confirmed that Mrs Belinda isn’t in her place ”
“Gush I shouldn’t have out burst like that , god please protect my baby where ever she is ” she prayed silently , Mr Nickolas walk in frowning.
“Good evening sir ” Kendrick greeted
“Evening ken , take this upstairs” Mr Nickolas said and gave ken his briefcase , Kendrick collected it and bow before walking away .
” So how did it go ” Mrs Cristal ask but he scoff and sank on an empty couch .
“It went terribly bad , Blake was released by the police since they had no evidence to pin him down . Gush our only hope was to use Godfrey against him but he was smart enough to clear Godfrey out of the picture ” Mr Nickolas said and clinch his fist tight .
“Belinda found out she’s not our biological daughter ” Mrs Cristal said but he shrug less concerned.
” You don’t worry or surprised at all “she said frowning
” This was bound to happen Cristal so am not surprised because I had it already in mind , how is the taking it ” he ask concern , Mrs Cristal sigh and sat beside him . She place her head on his shoulder.
“She ran off to god knows where , I just pray she get over it soon . Tomorrow is Isabella birthday hahaha my little girl is turning 23 tomorrow” she said with a low chuckle
” Yeah i wish she was here with us ” he mumble
“Hahah I don’t know why but I kinds feel weird about tomorrow,I feel tomorrow will be great “she said to herself.
**** Next day
It was very early the in the morning when Maya walk into the seating room
” Good morning birthday girl ” loud scream fill the air and Maya gasp .mara , Candie , Rick ,lucky , Alex , Davina and Damon were all present .
“Happy birthday babe ” Damon said taking a step forward with a small cake which had a single candle pinned at the top of it .
” Awe guys “she whine
” C’mon make a wish ” mara said , Maya shut her eyes for a brief seconds then she blew out the candle .
” So what did you wish for ” Damon ask
“It’s my wish and not yours “she said and they all laugh
“What’s the loud noise all about can’t a guy have a peaceful sleep ” Daniel grumbling as he made his way towards them , he’s still putting in his night robe and his hair looks really messy .
He glance at the unfamiliar faces then his case settled on the cake
“Wow that’s one small cake so what are you guys celebrating “he said , he shove his hand into his robe pocket and brought out a cigarette stick and lighter . After lighting up his stick he puff out smoke from his nostrils .
” @$$ head today is My birthday” Maya yell and Daniel scoff and puff out smoke.
” Oh happy birthday baby sis “he said , Maya walk up to him and snatch his cigarette stick .
“No smoking Dan”she scream
“Yo calm down sis hahaha “he chuckle but she shut him a dead glare .
“Who is that “Davina ask Candie while staring keenly at Daniel
“That’s Maya elder brother Daniel ” he said .
“He looks….handsome a bad boy vision of handsome “she said to herself.
They all had breakfast together chatting and laughing at some funny comments , after breakfast Daniel help clear the dining table.
Meanwhile Daniel place the plates inside the kitchen sink .
” Is it okay for you to wash dishes ” Davina ask behind him , he turn to her .
” There’s nothing wrong if I do it , wait what’s your name again oh I remember you’re Davina ” he said and she beam
” You do remember my name hahaha “she said , he nodded while smiling .

” Can I assist you ” she volunteered
“Huh you wanna wash , C’mon Vina I doubt you can even sweep your own room ” he said , she frown but the fact that he called her Vina made her to smile brightly .
” Vina I love the way you shorten my name awe , and for the record an not lazy . Why don’t you wash while I rinse” she said and took out her hills , she then fold her sleeve up .
“Hahaha you really wanna rinse , you will get yourself wet ” he said
“Wow so you care ”
” Yes I do but since you insist then let’s do it “he said and start washing and she do the rinsing , Davina was silent while trying to think what to say and just then his phone started ring but he ignore the call .
“Won’t you pick that “she ask
“Nah it’s not important”
“C’mon your girlfriend might wanna say something important ” she teased
” Hahaha that’s funny , well no not in a relationship and the person calling is my friend “he said , Davina beam the moment he said he’s not in a relationship.
“Are trying to say a handsome dude like you don’t have a girlfriend”she ask faking a surprise look but he laugh showing off his cute dimples , few strands of his hair linger on his forehead down to his brows which gave him a unique look.
” Hahaha you’re funny , am not the only single guy on earth what about you . Am sure you’re dating Justine Bieber “he teased and she gasp
” Are you kidding me right now , Justine Bieber is married and no am single ” she said and he laugh out loud .
“What’s funny ”
” I don’t believe you , there’s no way a rich and popular girl like you will be single . If you are single then am never gonna get married “he said ,she rolled her eyes

“I also don’t believe you are single , you know what . I think we should go out on a date some day ” he said , she stop and turn to him
“Are you asking me out ” she ask ,he shrug and nodded a yes .
” You said you’re single right and am also single so it’s right for 2 single birds to build a nest together. So Davina what do you think “he said grinning , her cheek flush red as she stared blankly at him . Despite the red eye patch she really looks beautiful even more then Mildred .
*** Grayson mansion
Belinda sat in front of Marcus and Mr Blake , she couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable with the way Mr Blake is smirking at her .
“Belinda el Rosa it’s nice to meet you and sure you have meet my son Marcus “Mr Blake said grinning .
” Yes but what I don’t understand is why am here , I know he saved me last night but ..”
“You already know your fate don’t you huh ” Mr Blake said and Belinda frown and clinch her fist tight .
” What fate “she said back
“Hehehe , you are the true blood of the el Rosa’s which means you aren’t the heiresses to their empire . Amaya is the real heiress what do you think will happen to you when Cristal finds her biological daughter. She will toss you away ”
“She won’t ” Belinda grit her teeth
“Hahaha . Nickolas and Cristal do not consider you as their daughter and that’s why your name is not in their next of kin docvments , ones they Amaya is introduce as the heiress of the el Rosa you will live the rest of your life in her shadow . She will have Damon all to herself and also take control of the Rosa’s empire ” Mr Blake said with a chuckle
“Stop what’s your deal in all this , how do you know so much about me” she yell glaring dagger at Mr Blake , he rose up and walk close to her .
” Am not your enemy Belinda am just a friend , and am here to offer you a smooth deal ” he said smiling devilishly.
“What deal ”
“In order for you to save your future you need to get rid of Amaya before the truth comes out ” he said and she flinch
“Y-you want me to kill her ”
“Well if necessary yes ” he said with an eye roll
“No no I can’t have blood in my hand I ..I can’t …I can’t kill her “Belinda shook her head negative , he placed his hand on her shoulders and she look up at his emotionless eyes .
” Think about your future think about how miserable life will be for you when Amaya eventually ends up with Damon and also becoming the heiress or the empire . If we get rid of her then you will forever remain the queen of the Rosa’s and also become their heiress ” he said convincing her , she mentally visualise all what he is saying and she clinch her fist tight .
“What do you want me to do “she said and he beam
“Am willing to protect my future no matter what ,I can’t allow Maya take everything from me ” she said to herself.
“Hahaha that’s my girl , Marcus will help you abduct Maya and you will have the opportunity to torture and do what ever you want with her before killing her ” he said and she nodded .
“But if I may ask what will you gain in all this , why are you helping me ” she ask now staring at his face , he smirk and return back to his seat .
” We have a common enemy”he said confusing her .
“Charlie please escort Mrs Belinda out” he said to one of his guard who nodded and he and Belinda walk out of the room then Mr Blake turn to his son .
“Prepare plan B , it’s time for judgement. Send men to the el Rosa’s mansion, abduct Mr and Mrs Rosa and bring them to the judgement venue ” he said and Marcus nodded .
” Mr and Mrs zhagoza is now under our custody they are currently held captive at the judgement venue ” Marcus said
“Good good , now all we need is the el Rosa’s and Amaya or should I say Isabella.” Mr Blake said grinning .
*** Hours later 8:20pm***
Damon and his friends decorated Maya’s house , music feel the air .
They made a small birthday party in honour of her , Alex , Candie , Rico ,lucky , Davina ,Daniel , Charlotte, mara ,Lucas were all present in the party . The party was just for friends alone just like Maya had requested .
Davina and Daniel were together all through the time just like how mara and Candie were seated together while the other chat about random things. They were waiting for Damon and Maya to arrive since they weren’t present in the first place .
The entrance door burst open and all eyes turn only to find Damon at the door post with eyes wide open , his hair looks messy and his clothes were torn . There was blood stain on his head and shirt .
“Damon ” Davina call , Candie quickly turn off the music and they all rush forward .
“They took her ..t-they took her “he muttered and tears roll down his cheek .
“What are you talking about and what happened to you , where is Amaya ” mara yell
” On our way here we got attacked by some gun men and…and..”
” What happened to my sister ” Daniel grab Damon collar
“Am sorry I couldn’t fight them off , Maya had been kidnapped ” he said crying even more , Daniel swallow hard .
” What are we waiting for let’s contact the police as soon as possible” Rick yell . Alex walk up to Damon who is still now kneeling whole sobbing like a baby .
“Damon “he called calmly
“Huh” Damon respond and look up at him , Alex land a hard slap on his cheek . The sound of the slap got everyone’s attention.
” Put yourself together you’re a man “Alex snap.
